    Sal mentioned Gore's son has a football scholarship offer from UB. Could be that he also wants to be near his son.

    Allen and Kroft are completely different TE's in terms of skills and how they're used. My best guess is they weren't, well we didn't get Allen so get Kroft. I think they'll find a blocking TE for the roll they investigated Allen for.

    No way does he stink. He's got natural catching hands and decent speed. He catches and turns up field quickly. We may have found a nice piece to the puzzle.

    I like this signing. Maybe not in love with the money as we're paying for upside. He's got good hands and can run pretty well. Here's to hoping they scouted him correctly and we found ourselves a good one.

    Wow, the more I'm watching the AFC Championship game, the more excited I'm getting. I originally thought he played excellent, now I'm thinking he was dominant. Watch the play at the 15:13 minute mark of the link I posted above.

    I get it, but my point is let them get some stuff done - then we'll grade them. So far I'm really not liking these numbers being handed out, so I'd much rather see a measured approach. Trent Brown at $16.5 mil - heck no.

    Disappointed in not getting this guy. Huge need, IMO. It's critical to get a WR in free agency and hope to hit a homerun with one in the draft.

    Now when you have enough money to do all of it. They aren't going to overspend on what's available at the X receiver anyway. They wouldn't ignore any of these positions because they spent too much on a slot receiver.
