  1. These posts are becoming more and more emotionally charged. We're such a adolescent fanbase at times. They make several significant 3rd down stops to give the offense additional possessions. They force field goals/punts frequently even when the offense puts their back against the wall. This is a winning defense in the NFL.
  2. It's naive to think you can't.
  3. Can we stop - who cares? Allen is our QB. It's not interesting to know who anyone would pick after 12 games. It's just not.
  4. I'm not drafting a center in round 4-6 and expecting him to start.
  5. Why hang up? They can't do it in person?
  6. Yes. He's exactly the receiver we should be looking for.
  7. No. Benjamin was a problem in terms of effort.
  8. Beane told me he plans to move on from McDermott. He feels he needs a defensive mind like Frazier to take over because too much attention has been given to the offense.
  9. Your point is well made and I largely agree. Buffalo fans are a finicky bunch for sure. I think what happens is there's a faction of fans that take things in stride and there's another faction of fans that get overly emotional about the teams. The overly emotional fans either need someone to be as upset as they are or they get over the top upset if you don't agree with them. The take things in stride fans want analysis vs outburts and they get agitated with media trying to elicit responses. They feel it just dumbs down the overall experience. Buffalo media has rarely found that voice that knows how to handle the emotional fans yet still engage them and yet still have knowledgeable insight to attract the fan that wants things broken down. There's two things the majority of Buffalo fans don't like. One is when outsiders criticize us when it's ill informed. The second thing is local media that aren't fans of the team. Mike Schopp is not a Buffalo sports fan. It's a job and I think most think he'd rather us be bad. That's why Sal is so well liked. He can be critical of the team but we know he loves them and ultimately wants them to succeed. When you say Jackson throws the ball better than Allen. You want the fans not to like you.
  10. I love soup but when it gets cold it starts to gross me out.
  11. Two, I believe. I don't want to come off as being insensitive to things but his propping up of Tyrod Taylor was embarrassing. Now he's championing Jackson. Just makes you have to ask if he's talking from his brain or his heart.
  12. This is personal for him. He thinks there's an unfair disadvantage against black QB's. This is not an attempt to get listeners by saying something outrageous. He believes it.
  13. I'm not saying the refs aren't bad but I also find it to be an impossible job. You have to catch everything with your eye - while the world has video in slow motion to check your work.
  14. That's a very good point.
  15. At 35 Aaron starting over with a new coach seems to me could be a real challenge.
  16. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before.
  17. Ok, I'm a fan of that dude forever now.
  18. IMO besides QB, WR is the hardest position to fill. Good ones hardly become available in free agency, they're hard to draft and they're expensive. If you can get an AJ Green for a 2020 1st round pick, I would do it. The best scenario is if Allen really develops and makes a great one out of what we have.
  19. Not much - like others have said, occasionally for videos or player information. I also wasn't part of bbmb - so it's not because of that.
  20. There's no team I want Tyrod to be our QB against again.
  21. Well there wasn't a free agent WR to sign and they needed a DT. They signed Star in March and Incognito retired in May - so they were a bit handcuffed in that regard.
  22. There's a zero percent chance of spending free agency money they've worked so hard to accumulate, on him.
  23. Is this mic on? Because it's about to be on.
  24. Incorrect. Our head coach that was a defensive coordinator prior knew we had cap issues that needed to be addressed - and that in year 3 he'd have almost $92 million to help build the roster with the GM.
