    The problem is that even if Duke WIlliams made the roster as the 6th or 7th WR, he mostly would not have dressed up on game day. So a lot of stuff goes into deciding how to get that player from #6 to a #4...The PS is the best place for that.

    how so. I can't believe that you think only the Patriots are built like that. I think the Rams, Saints, Falcons all will disagree. I also think Cleveland's offense is potent if they can get their OL settled.

    This plan works when your drafted players turn into blue chip superstars. Hopefully, the bills will get NOT just good players from the last three draft, but they will go on to be super stars collectively

    GM doing his talk and rightfully so. His job is to put the best 53 players on the field that maximizes the chance of this team to win games

    I think Tyree gets to the PS with his play in the 4th quarter of the 4th pre-season game I believe if Allen and Barkley are injured, the Bills will be looking at veteran's who are sitting at home. They are not going to put the game in the hands of Tyree Jackson

    The problem is that the Bills cannot part with high draft picks for renting Clowny for one year. Teams not dealing for him in spring has cost him.

    Actually they have done a favor to Shady to find a team where he can start. The backfield is crowded in Buffalo and he would have had to share carries with Gore and Singletary.

    They (Beane and McDermott) can only talk to one player at a time. I assume these guys will be next.

    And probably Wilson and Allen had the most rushing yards by a QB and rushing TD by a QB in their rookie season. Also was that the 3rd season for Pete as this is the 3rd season for McDermott. But does have the pieces to be one.

    I think it really comes to if a team wants to take a risk of claiming someone through the waiver wire or if they are willing to part a late round draft pick. The needs and desperation of the team dictates the approach. Good luck to all the Bills who are getting traded because they are in demand.

    The way Dawkins is playing, I think he has a very good chance.

    7 WR's will work if they chose to keep 3 TEs until Tyler Kroft comes back from the PUP list after week 6 or goes on the IR-designated-for-return. However, for the latter, he would have to eb in the 53 man squad first, which means they can only keep 6 WRs.

    I agree. that is the problem. Brown, Beasley, Jones, Roberts will be dressing up. I just don't see Williams suiting up. But then when we do have injuries to WRs he could step in

    THere is a good possibility that Foster loses out to Duke Williams. Stranger things have happened after the pre-season.

    It will now come to between McKenzie and Foster. Williams has earned a roster spot.

    There is enough tape on Murphy as a starting RB in the NFL from last year. He was bad and he will be no better than the 4th or 5th RB on a team. I doubt teams are going to pick him from the waiver unless there are injuries.
