It comes down to how much protection our OL can give Allen. Can Mitch Morse provide thee blanket for Allen in this game. Whatever it is the Bills have to play at 110% to win this game. But it is possible and that is exciting.

What will happen if the Bills do win this weekend
ganesh replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the Partiots will be 3-1 -
I think the ST play has been lack-lusture...No major returns and no major muff-ups. But it has NOT been exciting.

This !!! It is not a coincidence that we are playing Patriots style football. Daboll is from that coaching tree. The only problem is we are missing Singletary to run that offense as we need that shifty RB who will convert the 3 yards to a 8 yard gain to move the chains. Loss of Singletary has been huge and had a huge impact on the game. I don't think Josh has the confidence in Yeldon to throw in the flat to him and make plays.

So is it Peko or Vincent Taylor to replace Harry?
ganesh replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet it is Taylor and he has more NFL experience -
ESPN: Bills have the best defense in football

So one of the things different podcats stressed prior to the Bengals game was about the mismatch in speed of our DBs and the Bengals receivers and the concern that we will not be able to keep up with them especially in the middle of the field. That did turn out to be true as our Safeties were a tad late to get to the receiver and the big chunk plays were available. I am hoping we will not have the same with the Patriots on Sunday. On Sunday it is all going to be about stopping the Run...That is where the Patriots crushed us last year. -
Allen 3rd highest rated passer in 4th Q

You are always remembered for how you finish. Way to go Josh for keeping your head up and winning games for the team. -
the Josh Allen streak nobody talks about
ganesh replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's hope so. Josh is breaking many records including a 5-1 regular season record in his last six games...He has over 200+ yards in every one of those games, a TD in every one of the games...and he is willing to do whatever it takes to win the football game. I am so happy that we finally have a Franchise QB. Let us hope he can take the Bills to the promised land soon. Go Bills. -
Is this the most well balanced Bills team in almost 20 years?
ganesh replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that 2003/2004 season Bills had a great offense and defense...just poor coaching.. Bledsoe/Moulds/Price/Reed/Reimersma/McGahee on offense...and Takeo/Fletcher/Clements on defense. -
ESPN: Bills have the best defense in football
ganesh replied to VW82's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe there was even a game with Tyrod where we had a good lead going into the halftime The recent games all have been close until the Patriots broken open late in the game. The only one that sucked was last year when they ran over us. This has to be a Frank Gore game. We need to figure out a way to run the ball against that defense. Allen cannot get fooled by the disguises that Bellichek will make. This can be a statement game for the Bills. -
That "player gave himself up" call for White at the end

especially considering the wretched luck of this franchise !!!! Whether it is the Music City Miracle, or the J. P. Losman Fumble (against Jets) or McKelvin's Kick Off Return fumble with 2 minutes to go against Brady or the MN meltdown against the Cowboys !!!! -
Bills weakness is becoming a trend in QTRs 2nd & 3rd
ganesh replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. If TJ Yeldon doesn't fumble, we put away the game right there. If Josh doesn't throw that bad interception, we punt and pin the Bengals deep in their territory. -
It was great to see Sweeeney run first to congratulate Knox on his TD. Sweeney is a class act.

10 observations on the 3-0 start
ganesh replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed...Also, the schedule plays a lot into the W/L pattern. The Bills play 5 games at home in the first half of the season, especially with a 3 straight home games after the game against the Titans. Then they play 5 road games in Nov/December...So the Bills need to stack as many wins in the 1st half as possible...A 7-1 record allows them to just win the remaining 3 games at home in the 2nd half for a 10-6 record with a possible playoff chance. -

Josh Allen - week THREE report card
ganesh replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't Yeldon lost the ball inside the Bengals Red Zone. Why blame only Allen. We didn't score TDs and settled for FG in two other trips into the red zone.
