This is a must win game for the Bills.
ganesh replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it is a must win because every win counts in the NFL. The Bills need to stack as many games in the beginning of the season as possible; If we lose to the patriots next week, then we would be a 2-2 team with 2 home losses...we would be back to square one with the doubters....A 3-1 or 4-0 gives a lot more credibility to this team even if 3 of those wins are agains the Jets, Giants and Bengals. -
Fairburn: Singletary officially out this week

It is a shame he will miss the Season Opener. That place will be electric and rocking -
or Eli Manning Eli is from the same class as Ben and Rivers.

When we played the Jets, they were NOT a bottom of the league team. They actually were leading 16-0 close to end of 3rd quarter. Then the Bills had a great comeback to win the game. When the Giants started the game, they started 7-0 by running the ball for 75 yards and then forced a 3-and out against the Bills. The momentum was all in the Giants side. Then the Bills offense and defense took over. The Offense had 3 straight TDs and the defense stopped the Giants on each try. Again, at the time we played the games, both teams were NOT at the bottom of the league. May be the Bills put them in the bottom of the league with their (Bills) play

Be Josh Allen. He is a fantastic athlete, humble, take risks and a great team mate. His accuracy will improve as he synchronizes better with Brown, Beasley and the TEs. The sky is the limit for his talent level and he has already demonstrated a maturity beyond his years of age. I don't want him to be the next Kelly or Brady or Favre or Brees. I want him to be the Bills Allen. Luv it !!!!

especially a RB...They need their Hamstrings to be really strong If Kroft gets to play this week, does Sweeney goes to inactive on game day? I really like Sweeney's swagger and ability to make plays.

Who do you drop from the 53? That is the harder part. Agreed. Singletary will be inactive and the load will be shared between Gore, Yeldon and our FB not to forget Allen's run game,

Levi Wallace continuing to hold off Kevin Johnson from the starting CB. -
I would say that it is a "work in progress" trending towards success. Also, some of the folks you mentioned are also having the greatest seasons of their careers. Both Glimore and Watkins have been dominating in the 1st two weks.

The Schedule and how it helps the Bills

The key to this run is Mitch Morse. He was dominating at the LoS yesterday against a pretty good Giants front seven -

Right now Rosen is not the problem there. The HC doesn't have a handle or an identity for his team and he appears to be lost. Can he raise above and bring sanity to that organization. Then the player accountability will start to count. -
A Few Thoughts about the Giants game, in no particular order

Knox and Sweeney are going to be good to great TE's for this team for the long term. The best test is going to be in two weeks. Can they handle the Patriots. Then they will know they belong to the elite! -
WHat has been impressive for me with Allen is his ability to throw on the run. He made some clutch throws yesterday as he was running towards thee right sideline. I think that part (mental) of reading the defense and making quick decision will come as he gets more experience in the system. It is interesting that the two guys who were considered the highest risk in last years draft are the ones that are turning out to be good starters for their team (at least at this moment).

Rosen is a good QB. He will rally the troops. Question is : Does his HC have faith in him -
