Jim Kelly and Josh Allen Break Down Some Film Together
ganesh replied to stosh64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is amazing how Allen is able to connect with Kelly. All our previous QBs could never have that feeling of connecting with the legend. They always were enamored by his presence (Whether it was Losman, Edwards or Manuel). -
Rex Ryan takedown: Baker Mayfield version

Why? Don't you want to see young exciting QBs in this league ? I think his front office put him under the bus by giving him an underwhelming OL and Chubb seems to have disappeared this season. -
Bills QB Josh Allen becoming a must-watch player

Oliver currently is #4 in DT Pass Rush Win Rate

Also he has played 128 Defensive snaps...the highest among the DL. The next closest is Star at 79 and Phillips at 77. -
We know Patriots Take away one specific option on Defense
ganesh replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills need to be patient and take what the Patriots give them and work that to perfection. Play mistake free football and we will have a shot to win it, especially with that crowd behind us. -
28 points against a Defense that not let a TD in 4 straight games now (since SuperBowl) is going to be unrealistic. The defense needs to keep Brady under 15 points

And the icing on the cake would be for Knox to throw a DB or a LB to the ground on his way to the TD. Bellichek and his teams always do very good half time adjustments and that has been one of our weakness. Can the crowd help us take the early lead ? -
Alternate RBs, Daboll’s creativeness

They have used Beasley, McKenzie, Knox and even our FB. -

Actual a lot of the credit for this goes to McDermott for keeping this entire team grounded. McDermott has not pouted like Kitchens or like Doug Maronne when things didn't go well. McDermott is getting the entire team to buy in the same thing. Remember in week2, things were fueled by Giant's HC Presser on Allen and the mis-construing of his comment by the Media. McDermott shut the whole thing down and ensure that their play will make a statement and not their words. The nice thing was that he did not allow anyone on the team to talk about to the Giants HC even after the win. This says a lot about the character Sean is building in that building. Go Bills ! -
Aikman with the Cowboys would NOT have won any of those super bowls without Emmit Smith. Todd Gurley needs to own up and show up in the Playoffs/ Goff is more like an Aikman than a Favre.

Rex Ryan takedown: Baker Mayfield version

I would simply call this BS. He is a young QB like Allen and will have his Ups and Downs. I think people are willing to pounce on him because people think he is cocky and should be brought down. Sad. -
It comes down to how much protection our OL can give Allen. Can Mitch Morse provide thee blanket for Allen in this game. Whatever it is the Bills have to play at 110% to win this game. But it is possible and that is exciting.

What will happen if the Bills do win this weekend
ganesh replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the Partiots will be 3-1 -
I think the ST play has been lack-lusture...No major returns and no major muff-ups. But it has NOT been exciting.

This !!! It is not a coincidence that we are playing Patriots style football. Daboll is from that coaching tree. The only problem is we are missing Singletary to run that offense as we need that shifty RB who will convert the 3 yards to a 8 yard gain to move the chains. Loss of Singletary has been huge and had a huge impact on the game. I don't think Josh has the confidence in Yeldon to throw in the flat to him and make plays.

So is it Peko or Vincent Taylor to replace Harry?
ganesh replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet it is Taylor and he has more NFL experience -
ESPN: Bills have the best defense in football

So one of the things different podcats stressed prior to the Bengals game was about the mismatch in speed of our DBs and the Bengals receivers and the concern that we will not be able to keep up with them especially in the middle of the field. That did turn out to be true as our Safeties were a tad late to get to the receiver and the big chunk plays were available. I am hoping we will not have the same with the Patriots on Sunday. On Sunday it is all going to be about stopping the Run...That is where the Patriots crushed us last year. -
Allen 3rd highest rated passer in 4th Q
ganesh replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are always remembered for how you finish. Way to go Josh for keeping your head up and winning games for the team. -
the Josh Allen streak nobody talks about
ganesh replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's hope so. Josh is breaking many records including a 5-1 regular season record in his last six games...He has over 200+ yards in every one of those games, a TD in every one of the games...and he is willing to do whatever it takes to win the football game. I am so happy that we finally have a Franchise QB. Let us hope he can take the Bills to the promised land soon. Go Bills.
