This is bull. Josh did what he was asked to do...the fault lies with the play calling. -
Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem

It was a shame that they did not run Singletary on that last play to get the 1st down or closer to the sticks. Singletary was grossly under utilized. The browns had the middle of the field open -
Going through all the weekly podcast, here is what I could summarize: 1. Browns have a helluva Running Back in Nick Chub, who is a very physical runner. However, he is not being utilized in the offense. 2. Browns have two WRs who are on pace for 1200 yards each 3. Their TEs are non-existent 4. Their OL is in shambles even though they extended their center. This has hurt the accuracy issues for Mayfield. 5. Mayfield's targets last year are on the bench...so there is no chemistry at the difficult times. 6, Mayfield is not letting OBJ make plays by throwing it up to him. On Defense: 1. They are missing Greg's aggresiveness 2. They have a NFL Sack leader in Myles Garrett 3. They have two outstanding CBs but their entire DB is quite thin and leaves a lot to be desired with backups 4. Their front seven has been out-manned On past Games: 1. They have been low scoring games, shoot outs, close games (Seattle) and beat up on opponents (Baltimore) 2. Their Coaching Staff is definitely getting Out coached. 3. Freddie Kitchens is over his head when it comes to managing the Football Team The best plan for the Bills to win are: 1. Run the football and score points on every drive. 2. Keep Mayfield and Chubb off the field. Our Run Defense will be torn apart by Chubb like Peterson did in the 1st half. Bills have been weak against North-South backs. 3. Make Mayfield one dimensional and throw the football. Our DBs are up for the task. They may need to play Kevin Johnson more than Levi Wallace. 4. Make plays on Special Teams. This is one game the team has to win by playing as a team. No individual heroics needed other than by Singletary!

These may help: 3rd in total points allowed 16.4 per game 10th on 3rd down completion at 35%

Yup. A win is a win. It is hard to win in the NFL. -
Considering that he hasn't thrown an INT in 3 games, I hope he doesn't end up throwing 14 for the season.

The fall of Drew Bledsoe -
and Baltimore lost to the 2-6 Browns...so they have their own flaws

Cole Beasley not being utilized right.

I think the QB and WR needs to be on the same page to do that act...That will take at least another off season before Beasley and Allen can connect in the same way -
A Few Thoughts about the Redskins Game, in no particular order
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need more talent on that side of the ball. And our OL is below average after a good start to the season. -
May be he will be given the time and responsibility to build a team to his liking. May be the folks currently on this team are NOT his players.

We are still losing in the trenches. Our DL got pushed around yesterday with the Run game. Our OL got pushed around yesterday in the Run game. We were a disaster in running the ball in those short yard situations. The coaching did not help -
Gore was a shadow of himself yesterday. He had 10+ opportunity to get yards and did nothing.

Agreed. A win in the NFL is not easy. But the Bills need to fix their mistakes..I thought the biggest issue yesterday was Dabolls play calling...It crushed many drives...everyone else played their part. Teams are coming at the Bills after Miami found a way to run the ball and the Bills have been meek to respond back...May be this is thee way coach McDermott wants to win. -
Agreed. Today's ugliness was not due to Josh. He made his plays..The finger pointing must go to the OC...It was insane to keep seeing running into the pile when the OL had zero push against the Redskins Defensive front. It was insane to see Singletary being taken off the field on 1st down and 3rd down... He had a few downfield shots...our WRs came no where close to adjust...both Foster and Brown dropped sure TDs.

Coaches video are showing that Star is playing the best on the DL I think people need to stop harassing him. He is doing his job. We have zero pass rush at this time...that is hurting us a lot. The LBs have been poor against the Run the last three weeks and have been exploited. This Bills team still has holes and weakness to address. We are not yet there.

Wouldn't Josh Gordon now be a vested veteran that he will not go through the waiver wire?
