  1. Tyree Jackson may actually start and play the entire game. I don't think the Bills will put Barkley at a risk of injury in the final pre-season game
  2. I agree. Put Wade in with the 2nd stringers, may be even with the 1st team and see how he plays against NFL starters/backups. I hope Wade starts the game #4 as others are likely to sit out.
  3. Good to always see the Optimist side of the story. Keeping fingers crossed for a 12-4 season. That would really make 12 Mondays during the season a very very happy day !!!! #3 - Great pass rusher #4 - Game changing RB (He is the best friend to the QB) #5 - LT protecting the QB blind side.
  4. Don't forget that Roberts will be taking up one of those WR spots.
  5. Can't they injured player remain in PUP and be activated by week 6 (or something like that). I thought in that situation, they don't have to be part of the original 53 man roster.
  6. $15 beer doesn't help either !!
  7. You are ignoring McKenzie who has had a fantastic camp and pre-season and he is the backup to Beasley not McCloud (at the moment). Ask the coaches..i think they will tell you differently. Di Marco is not getting cut
  8. WE actually have to put a team on the field and for that you need a QB. Wasn't one of our TEs (Dawson) a former QB in High School...heck he may be better than Jackson right now
  9. and don't forget Tyler Kroft...We could have a pretty good TE group on this team. When you have three players better than your last years best (Croom) that says about the depth we ahve built.
  10. For me it comes to Duke Williams vs Isiah McKenzie as the bubble WR. When I look at 25 players on offense for the roster, I see: 2 QB (Allen, Barkley) 4 RB (McCoy, Gore, Singletary, Perry) 1 FB (DiMarco) 5 WR (Jones, Beasley, Brown, Foster, Roberts) 3 TE (Lee, Dawson, Sweeney) 5 OL (Dawkins, Spain, Morse, Ford, Ty Nscke) I assume Tyler Kroft will start on PUP or go on IR for coming back later. That is 20 players covered and I believe are safe unless we trade McCoy or one of Jones or Foster. Now we have to break up the 5 remaining spots as 3 OL, 1 WR, 1 RB 3 OL, 2 WR 3 OL, 1 WR, 1 TE or 4 OL, 1 WR The extra WR currently seems to be McKenzie's to lose based on his play in the pre-season. He also can do Punt return The only way I see Duke Williams getting in is if the Bills go with the 3 OL and 2 WR option. The 3 backup OL appears to be Feluciano, Wesley and Teller. Robert and Perry make the team on Special Teams. The curious situation is going to be that even if the above make the roster, most likely McKenzie, Williams and even Singletary may not make it to list of 44 players who are active on game day.
  11. Good/Decent backup QBs will be on the 53 man roster. We are not going get a better alternative to sit in our PS.
  12. If the Bills truly believe Jones is a bust, they will cut him (Which I don't personally think they will). They will always go with the best players from TC
  13. Croom stays on the roster until Tyler comes back. The TE depth is too thin to cut Croom now
  14. why is this a surprise cut.
  15. we want a top 10 defense in points and turnovers. Yards is not really a good measuring stick.
  16. how much gap have they closed with the Patriots
  17. The Bills 2nd string had a ton of penalties in that 3rd quarter. What is wrong with that. If he played bad against scrubs, then obviously he sucks.
  18. We actually may have a pass rush this year !!
  19. We are one injury to Tommy Sweeney from having No TE's on this roster. That is really scary !!!!
  20. After today's game, WRs will be Jones, Brown, Foster, Beasley, McKenzie, Roberts. Unless they trade Jones and in which case it will be that they will carry 5 TEs or 5 RBs.
  21. So Singletary didn't get a chance to make an impression on you ?
  22. Agreed. No amount of thanks to SDS will be enough for him to be able to keep this community together. He deserves every bit of our thanks for what he has done.
  23. Players are looking for the best possible deals as there are no guarantees in the NFL. Also, for many of them this is all they will make in their entire career. So future proofing for covering another 40+ years of their life is in their best interest. Comparing to the Bills of the 90's is irrelevant. The super stars of the 90's did get paid their above-market value for what they did. A million than is same as 30M now. This is all above revenue sharing between owners and players. The players are asking because the owners have the necessary revenue. Do you think the Owners will really indulge in this if the player request exceeds the owners cost + profits. No way. It doesn't matter to us what Prescott did or did not do. The Cowboys need to evaluate him and his contract request as per how they are running their organization. Capitalism allows anyone to negotiate what they thing they can get from the known pool. They are just trying to shift the percentages.
  24. He got his name in a song !!!! How can we judge that.
