  1. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2020/11/18/21573153/jaguars-yannick-ngakoue-pro-bowl-vote-vikings The 2021 Pro Bowl is already going to be weird enough, taking place in Madden, rather than on a football field — but Jaguars fans found opportunity amongst the chaos. They realized that if Yannick Ngakoue is named to the Pro Bowl, the Vikings, who traded for the defensive end back in August, will be forced to give Jacksonville a fourth round pick, rather than a fifth, due to escalator language in the trade. This was the lightbulb moment.
  2. I think some of you need to lay off the liquor and save up that money and invest in a shrink, because if a single play in the middle of November can do this to you, professional help is warranted.

  4. People act like Brady played for free. Clown takes.
  5. Belichick losing to the winless Jets on MNF would be the cherry on top of this weekend.
  6. This "window to win on a rookie QB deal" was always hogwash. KC gave Mahomes a half billion dollars -- their window to win is the next 15 years.
  7. For you degenerates -- there's a guy named Sheil Kapadia for The Athletic that is 73-46 picking ATS this year. 61% is pretty absurd.
  8. There's a nationwide flood alert due to the overflowing river of tears coming from the "F*ck your feelings" crowd. Look on the bright side Trumpsters, in 2 months you get to start whining about the national debt again!
  9. Yeah, it's good we went 8 years without a QB to eventually wind up with a QB that isn't as good as the one we could have picked 8 years ago. It's not the fact that Nix was wrong about Wilson being available at the top of the 4th, he was only about 20 picks off. That's fairly accurate for those rounds. It's that fact that he passed on a player at a position of ultimate importance. Regardless of how well Fitz was playing at the time, if you are infatuated with a QB you take the damn QB. Believe it or not Nix might actually still have a job if he did -- and the notion that Wilson wouldn't thrive here is just more homer BS that fans tell themselves (see Mahomes). Does anyone remember that we traded up to take T.J. Graham over T.Y. Hilton?
  10. “We felt he would be there with our first pick in the fourth round, but he wasn’t there. We waited a half-round too long.” No ****.
  11. Seattle is a joke, huh? Yeah...
  12. This team was never going to contend for a title this year. Step away from the ledge.
  13. 1 part "Beane knows Gettleman" and 1 part wishful thinking.
  14. Is 20 games enough to judge a QB? It sure isn't in Buffalo.
  15. He hesitated for a split second, that's all it took.
  16. Daniel Jones...yikes.
  17. He means more to the offense than most fans realize, not a player they could afford to lose. Switching centers is tough on young QBs. They have to be very careful with him.
  18. 49ers are the most physical team in the league, it's just not a good matchup for us even without their QB.
  19. Good athlete, but not a good football player.
  20. Yeah but he's a name people have heard of!
  21. There isn't anyone on TV that can break down blocking assignments, route trees, coverage assignments, etc better than him in seconds after only seeing it once live. Him and Al are 100% deserving of the marquee football match-up on Sunday nights.
  22. We don't have to worry about Daboll leaving for a head coaching job anymore.
  23. 75% in a game is not good and neither is 71% on the season, but the sample size is still too small. His 50% rate on 30-39 kicks will go up, he's hitting 95% of his extra points. Fans calling for him to be cut need to relax.
  24. I do not get the love for Jones at all. Have you guys seen him play, or do you just have him on your IDP fantasy teams? He's a much smaller version of Edmunds, he's basically a safety playing LB. They both rack up gaudy tackle stats because they play on defenses that can't get off the field. He's certainly not the answer for a soft run defense. Quinnen Williams would be my choice, but is it realistic? Would the Jets really trade a promising young 1st round DT, who's under contact for the next 3 years with option, to a division rival?? That's insane. But part of me says "it's the Jets" so maybe it is realistic.
