"First Round Picks are Over-rated": Discuss
QCity replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Rams' best player is a 1st round pick. Our best player is a 1st round pick. Go down the list of teams and see how many this holds true for. What people really mean is "1st round picks that don't pan out are overrated" Hindsight makes everyone a genius. -
I don't think you'll stop him, but you can slow him somewhat. I'm a big advocate of using a LB to chip him at the LOS to disrupt timing. It will be very interesting to see how the Bucs use David and White against him.

The Bengals requested an interview with him and he rejected the interview! He was set to be the Colts next head coach (they even had a press conference scheduled to announce it) and he bailed at the last minute and left them at the altar scrambling. His excuse? His kids were born in N.E. and he loves the area. Yeah, right. Hubris overload.

Keep him in the NFC, nice.

Should be some delicious schadenfreude for the segment of our fanbase that doesn't understand the game past fantasy football.

Haason Reddick - free agent I'd love

It's not so much of a good season as it is one game. He had 5 sacks against a Giants team that was forced to put Colt McCoy in. He's an undersized played that has disappointed, and paying him big money in a contract year based on his performance in a contract year is the definition of Fool's Gold in today's NFL. -
A brutally honest look at the Bills' playoff games
QCity replied to Arm of Harm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you want brutal honesty this Bills team, as a whole, did not play particularly well in any of their 3 playoff games this postseason. -
What if the Bills had scored before halftime?
QCity replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What if the Chiefs don't fumble that kick and gift us that TD? It would be a laughable blowout that wouldn't have anyone playing these silly what-if games. -

Do you like the term “Bills Mafia”?
QCity replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It sounds like something a 13 year old came up with after doing too many bong hits. I guess it's appropriate though.- 183 replies

Everything is a slight against us. -
It's less about his age, and more about years played in his style. Running quarterbacks don't last.

How Good or Bad was our Defense,Really?
QCity replied to Buffaloflash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Colts OL had their way with us. -
I'm watching a defense go on the road and hold the NFL rushing champ to 40 yards, and his team to a grand total of 209 yards. I'm watching a team that's won it's 6th straight game. No, there isn't a team in the league right now that would "handle them rather easily" and you just might find that out the hard way.

Ravens are on fire. Let's go Steelers!

It's very easy to point out when analytics doesn't work, but often goes unmentioned when it does work. If an event has 80/20 chance of success, it doesn't mean you made the wrong decision if the 20% outcome arises. I think that's the most difficult thing for fans to understand. I also think that the decision to go for 2 had more to do with the stadium and their kicker. Blankenship was having an amazing season, but he missed 2 FG's last week, and another one today. Reich knows as well as anyone how challenging it is to kick here in January, especially for a rookie kicker. I'm surprised the broadcast crew didn't touch on this more. In the end, the Bills were the slightly better team today. Our kicker made all his kicks, their's didn't.
