Are teams trading too many assets to get a QB?
QCity replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching the Bills flounder around for 20 years after Kelly's retirement, this should be an easy answer. -
What do you think of these Bills concept helmets?

All-In This Year...Nothing Less For the Lombardi
QCity replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you even understand what the term "all-in" means? You clearly don't. This team isn't going to sacrifice future seasons because a portion of the fan base is impatient. We don't have a HOF QB with 1 year left before he retires. There was nothing lucky about Manning or Elway winning Super Bowls. Our window to win is the next dozen years. -
This TBH. A 1 year rental with more upside than Yeldon. If he can stay healthy and contribute he can stick around longer.

The Lesson in the Sabres Horrendous Season
QCity replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Terry announces that his wife will be more involved with football operations, then you can panic. -
Not true, the lawyer reaps tons of free publicity. Posting it 4 times on the same page would really help.

John Ross as WR replacement for JohnBrown
QCity replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No because he's terrible and there's a lot more to the position than just having speed. Who the hell is Tyrone HIll? -
With this contract Fitz has now made over $81M playing football. And he's not done yet.

The Compensatory Pick System Is BROKEN.
QCity replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wrong. You've wasted a lot of keystrokes here, but it is that time of year. -
It's the right move with that cap number. Burners don't age gracefully, and his injury history isn't likely to improve at 31. He had a great 2019.

If Carlos Dunlop trade possible Y/N?
QCity replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It isn't 2 threads, this one is for Mr. Dunlop, the tire magnate. -
Mitch Morse Re-Works Contract per Ian Rapoport
QCity replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Completely disagree. When you have 5 concussions you are basically playing on borrowed time to begin with. They had an out and should have taken it. Josh needs to be paired with a young center for the next 10 years (Landon Dickerson?) and while it's fun to picture Morse starting for 16 games it just isn't likely to happen. -
Of course. STHs aren't exempt from price increases The team is still expected to be in the bottom 25% in terms of average ticket price.

The prices go up during losing seasons too. Last flat year in the past two decades was 2012, and that's an anomaly in the NFL.

NFL is "highly likely" to have a 17-game regular season in 2021
QCity replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The home/away imbalance is just so silly. It's like watering down the perfect drink with more ice to try to fool your customers into thinking they're getting more. -
I like how this article calls him the "perfect trade target" with no specifics how they plan to fit his $17.8M cap hit this season.

Source: LB Matt Milano looking for “top dollar” in FA
QCity replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you ever heard fans complain that a player gets unfairly criticized just because he was a 1st round draft choice? The opposite holds true for Milano - he's wildly overrated because he was a late round pick that seemingly blossomed out of nowhere at a position of need for us. But he's not a stud OLB. Signing Daryl Williams is infinitely more important for this team. Thanks for everything and have fun in Jacksonville, Matt. -
It will be interesting to see if he truly wants to play for a contender and is willing to sign a short-term deal, or if he just wanted out of a rebuild and is looking to maximize his cash in a better environment. His age and injury history are certainly a concern and this isn't a man who played on a rotation -- he's on the field 90%++ of the time when healthy and that certainly has taken its toll on his body. A short-term deal definitely makes sense for the Bills as improving the pass rush is the top priority for this team and he will bring that in spades playing in a 4-3 (and yes, he can play in a 4-3). He would be the only person in our front 7 that opposing coordinators have to legitimately gameplan around.
