  1. ngl, I thought he was already up there.
  2. Unfortunately, we don't play the Jets every week.
  3. Are you telling me that scouring the internet for any criticism, then grouping up and attacking the author of said criticism on Twitter isn't going to propel this team to success?
  4. Perhaps merely posting in this thread has lowered my intelligence. I guess it's just fashionable to be outraged these days.
  5. "I found some random people on Twitter that agree with me, I told you guys the Earth was flat!"
  6. Newton is a redemption/comeback story after looking like his career might be shot, and he's doing it for a HoF coach that is starting the season with a new QB for the first time in 20 years. Like it or not, the Brady-Newton swap is the story of the season and is going to be under the microscope all year. There's plenty of praise for Allen out there, but people here are looking for criticism. Some fans are expecting the entire internet and social media universe to come together and worship Allen. It's not gonna happen. This.
  7. The goal line playcalling by Garrett was mindbogglingly moronic, on both series. He likely cost them 14 points. Get the ball to one of the top RBs in the league, or design fancy roll-out plays for a QB with 13 career starts? The NY media is going to love him.
  8. Running QB's simply don't last, and that's the big picture. Fans have been saying the game "has changed" since the days of Randall Cunningham, and they've been wrong for the past 3 decades. Russell Wilson ran 3 times for 29 yds yesterday. He's not a running QB anymore. He doesn't run the read-option. 2-3 times a game he escapes pressure and runs out of bounds 9 yards up the field. That's vastly different than the play of Jackson, Allen, and Murray.
  9. ^ This. He's a sure tackler and excels and stopping the run, and is the best FA LB still out there.
  10. 1) The stadium is off limits. 2) No, drunken idiots smashing themselves through tables set on fire would not be good PR.
  11. I mean, he's hit 9.5 sacks in McD's system before, it wouldn't be that shocking. But yeah, at age 33 I'm taking in the under for sure.
  12. If some of you would wipe away your tears, take your blood pressure medication, and actually read the article you would find it's not that crazy. He basically predicts a 3-way fight between Buffalo, NE, and Miami. He has concerns about our offense and QB, which are certainly fair (to anyone outside of this forum I guess). He doesn't even predict NE will make the playoffs, which makes some of these "He's a NE lover" rants even more bizarre.
  13. I'm guessing this is what inspired that one poster to create the "Would you give Josh Allen $40M today" thread?
  14. It already aired earlier this year, featured the Eagles.
  15. Better delete this post fast, we don't want other GM's seeing this!
  16. So few understand this.
  17. The scaling of contact rates with population density for infectious diseases is not linear.
  18. You just admitted she doesn't do anything with regard to football decisions. So beyond the rallying cry of "She owns the team!" and "sexism" feel free to point out her accomplishments after 4 years at the helm combined between 2 franchises -- but I won't hold any grudges if you don't want to do all that typing.
  19. It has absolutely nothing to do with sexism and everything to do with having experience. I would be saying the same thing if her husband was in the position. Just because you are rich enough to buy a Ferrari doesn't make it a smart idea to rebuild the engine yourself. You hire qualified, capable people with experience for that. The Pegulas have owned the Sabres longer than the Bills and the team has been a trainwreck under their stewardship -- now going on year 6 of wasting the talents of a superstar player. Kim has turned their front office into a laughing-stock revolving door of hires and fires making it almost impossible to attract any outside, experienced executive talent that wants to work under her (hence the latest internal hire at GM). Of course, this was already pointed out earlier in the thread and dismissed with a "So??" which leads me to believe you don't want to hear about her failures, and in absence of any real accomplishments will fall back on this "sexist" nonsense.
  20. I love what the Pegulas have done in the area, but Kim has no business being President of either team. That may sound harsh, but it's true.
  21. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/29576838/sources-more-st-louis-cardinals-test-positive-coronavirus St. Louis games postponed. Double-header games will now be only 7 innings long.
  22. They just cancelled their opener. Not good.
  23. This is a fallacy and it is probably the greatest contributor to fans undervaluing draft picks. There isn't a separate chart for teams that you perceive to draft poorly. A $100 bill is worth $100 regardless if you invest it in your retirement fund or flush it down the toilet.
  24. You think they traded two 1st round picks for a 2-year rental?
  25. 2 second round picks+ for a safety in the last year of his contract would still be absurd. Especially one that was asking to be the highest paid player on the team (more than Mosley's $17M/yr). Try negotiating that next contract after all the leverage he has now.
