Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
RyanC883 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
the Ravens worry me more than anyone given how they match up against us. -
hopefully not. I'd love to see Ray able to take a ton of carries starting in the 2nd quarter to keep Cook fresh. yeah he did, although I don't think it was anything too awful. But not great. he can come break tables if he apologizes and says 5 nice things

Start of the season really could not have gone better for the Bills…
RyanC883 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
could be better. KC could be 0-3 -
I love seeing football, but I agree they are stupid. Weird things happen and it just seems like not a real game due to the crazy prep schedule for the teams.
-
something looked off pre kick. Like he was not settled, could have led to him slipping.
-
If he really has an effort issue I can’t see McD tolerating it for long. Use him in a trade for another D guy.
-
contributed a nice penalty in ST. He seems to be regressing on D unfortunately.

Just a sick move from Walker.

Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?

yep, the injury excuse is not an excuse unless it’s a franchise qb. and even then, sometimes you beat an more talented team in SB 25. -
Which is the first game we will lose this season?
RyanC883 replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last Jets game. We have all our backups in all game with the 1 seed. I don't think we go backup against the Eagles even if we have the 1 seed at that point. -
Ed Oliver in walking boot..per Matt Parrino

did he say when/how the injury happened? -
Happy BDay!

Ed Oliver hit on 3rd down last drive. Wow
RyanC883 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver had a rediculous game, it overshadowed Bosa's good, but not great, game. Our starting DL should be very good. as the rookies come along, I think Sanders will be an above-average player this year with room to continue growing. Would love a big run stopper, perhpas at the trade deadline, although any D weakness appears to be in the secondary. -
but the refs would NOT let the spot stand. It was an incredibly poor spot, and with McD right there, he should have challanged it. That was a terrible no challange by McD. We needed that first down then, and worst case it's a timeout. Instead, we rush a poor 3rd down play, get a false start, punt.

this puts us in a great spot for the 1 seed. The Bills have the easiest schedule of the "big 3" of Buffalo, Balt and KC.
-
unlikely, because he'd still be on his way to the endzone it's like Brady realized it was no longer preseason in the 4th quarter. not sure why he kept calling runs up the middle routinely on 2nd and 3rd down against the Ravens D. Dalton and Knox both played really well I thought. And it was nice seeing Dalton look more like himself rather than the injured shell last year.

Joey Bosa provides immediate week 1 impact
RyanC883 replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% agree. While he's not a "game wrecker" that you need to double, or "account for" the way Garrett, Watt, etc. are, he is a huge upgrade and him and Groot are a great pair. -
Jabrill Peppers cryptic tweet (now heading to Pittsburgh)
RyanC883 replied to Herc11's topic in The Stadium Wall
either. But agree, Rapp was horrid last night. -
Without the Ravens calling bizzare plays (running Flowers), we likely don't have the ability to come back given that our D was incapable of stopping Lamar or Henry on the ground, or even Lamar in the air. On the flip side, we did a LOT of work to win that game and won all the battles we could. End result: victory. Interestingly during the dought years, and even after (13 seconds, last year KC), I feel like we came out on the Raven's end a lot.

How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?
RyanC883 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah, their roster is STOCKED. That team still scares me, and I think the Bills know the Ravens are the real deal, so I don't sence any cockyness from our group. Interestingly, while Mark Andrews blocked well, he was absent in the passing game. To answer the question, I'd take: Allen, Brown, Benford, and Shakir/Coleman/Palmar over Bateman.
