  1. both and a 1T draft pick would be fantastic. Would also open the option for a 3T/1T type like the Illinois guy whose name I can't recall if he falls that far. so is he signing today or not?!?!!?
  2. here is what happens: we take Worthy, he's ok, gets injured all the time. KC takes Worthy: he is the next Tyrekee Hill or something.
  3. I'd rather he admit a mistake and move on quickly. Liked the signing, but it was a mistake. Move on.
  4. not everyone is the Realist that you are! OL coach somewhere?
  5. so who do we draft as the backup to McGovern and Edwards? A center, guard, someone who can play both (who does that in college anymore?)
  6. UDFA punter incoming--hopefully.
  7. highly underrated safety league wide. One of the best in the past decade. Thanks, Jordan. Feel free to come back if no one else picks you up!
  8. Bean doing all the moves while McD is working out or out of the office or on another call
  9. I think a big slot given his speed and slight build. I'm not sure where he goes in the lineup, actually. Wouldn't mind him in the 2nd round, but at 28 would hope for a X type #1 WR. Wouldn't mind actually getting Thomas, JR. then instantly trading back into the 2nd to grab Worthy. He seems like a great "toy/gadet" type WR.
  10. yeah, besides the issue with Jeudy, trading for him would not help much given: (1) the WRs available at low cost in the draft; (2) other WRs available in FA that will not cost picks.
  11. I like the idea of Brown, but not Worthy. Hoping for B. Thomas Jr. or Leggett. If we go slot guy, the guy from Arizona is likely available in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  12. I totally get the desire for an Edge who can get 10+ sacks a year. I'm not sure this is the guy to trade up for, however. He is listed by NFL.com as a "boom or bust" prospect. Trading up for him seems like the type of desperation that got us players like Basham. Groot also had a ton of college sacks, but has been more of a containment DE at the pro level. Would I hate the pick, no, but what makes this "awful" is the trade up in a deep draft. I'd rather get a DE like D. Robinson, Trice, or Kneeland later in the 2nd or 3rd round and get an impact WR round 1. that's not the point of this. But, okay. People can post mocks they hate here and discuss them. Some disagree with my dislike, that's okay.
  13. Tavis or Milton. I think we end up taking one. A cheap backup is nice to have, really, a rookie and other Allen are likely not much difference in terms of likely backup potential. If JA gets hurt and the season is going well, we likely trade for a vet while waiting for JA to return.
  14. I figured we could put all the pundit mock drafts that we hate here to express our collective outrage I'll start. This one from Lance Zierlein just dropped. It may be the worst I've seen so far. Trading up for...well...wait till you see it. I saw a trade up, got excited, then, vomit. Additional vomiting caused by who the Bengals and Chiefs added compared to who we added. There are so many other players available for the Bills who will be more impactful at CB/S, DT, and even WR that were passed up here. https://www.nfl.com/news/lance-zierlein-2024-nfl-mock-draft-2-0-broncos-move-up-for-j-j-mccarthy-chiefs-add-xavier-worthy
  15. guy is a bit overrated and basically cost us the KC game by getting blown up at a key point, that said he would create a hole u less we got a 1st round pick for hi. to use on a day 1 starter. Since that won’t happen, I’d keep him without extending and draft a possible replacement.
  16. what makes you think Mitchell? Just curious. would love Thomas Jr. Don’t know enough about Mitchell. Leggett seems risky to me?
  17. really strange. We now need to draft a center. Morse stayed healthy last year but we need a backup, and also Morse is likely a year or two likely away from retirement (or unfortunately a bad hit away).
  18. interesting. 1. wonder who picks him up. 2. wonder what Denver's thinking for its QB situation.
  19. perhaps put him in bubble wrap the first 2/3rds of the season. Has he played in the playoffs the last 2 years healthy? I'm thinking no. So save him?
  20. staying at 8 could give us the dilemma of DT2 v. WR 7. We might be better taking DT2, and trading up in the 2nd for WR 7 or 8.
  21. Agree with most of this. But Chop Robinson would be an absoultley horrid pick. He can't rush the passer or play against the run. Most of the Edge writeups have lower rush grades and decent run grades. I'd go for that type of player later in the draft and look more at solid DTs early on.
  22. He will be Maybin 2.0. Athletic traits and no production.
  23. I like this one. Thomas in Rd. 1. Persall in Rd. 3. Don't really know anything about Taylor, but he is a highly rated DT, so I took him in Rd. 2. Anyone have insight? I like the Harper/Smith, Taylor safety trio (perhaps 1 too many Ss drafted). I think this draft does a lot to help the WR, DT, and S issues, and provides depth at OL and LB.
  24. Was always an entertaining listen. Condolences to the family and RIP to him.
