I'm not saying it, I'm saying analysts saw it. Does not make him a quitter to be frusturated. a lot of the sack screenshots, the WR is open, but that's at the time of the sack. When the pocket is collapsing and right before is when the WR needs to be open, a lot of those sacks he held onto the ball for a long time, and the analysist comments were that no one was open.

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
RyanC883 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
any trade idea that nets a legit WR1 can't be discounted at this time. A 2nd and one of our JAG receivers for Pickens would be amazing. Not sure if Dallas would go for it, they seem to never be in "blow it up" mode even when they should be. -
NO disagreements from me. But yikes, the "UP" looks like the "UP" of a drought-era teama, which, lets not kid ourselves, this team is. Outside of having a unicorn QB, this team is really, really bad. Up because someone made a play. Yeah, yikes. Palmar had 2 nice plays, Yikes.

I hope Bean does something, but unless he does more than one thing, it won't be enough. Right now this roster is terrible. Take JA out and replace him with a mid-level starter and it's a 1-5 team at best. At this point, whatever Bean does to fix his past errors is just a bandaid. A WR gives us a chance to cover the massive defesive deficiencies that have led to us being carved up by a bunch of mid-level QBs. We need, at least, the following: an actual #1 WR, (DJ Moore would be ideal), an actual safety. With a WR and safety we may have enough to contend for the SB, but that's a big if, because we still need a LB (ours are always hurt due to McFranklin's obsession with small LBs), and a CB. We could also use a RB2 to cover for Cook so he's not on track to lead the NFL in rushes. I've just depressed myself. This roter is really, really bad for having a franchise QB.

minus Allen this roster is drought era. Heck, some of those were prob better.

Flores with a legit OC. This is the question. HC stability is overvalued by some. NHL and NBA understand the need for new voices. Philly got it also. Hopefully Pegs sees what PSU just did and is emboldened to act if things do not improve here.

The fact Bean would not do these trades are reason enough for him to be canned. He legitimately is an egomaniac who believes he can draft someone better or his “everyone eats” philosophy is solid. His drafting record would likely net a JAG in those rounds, and he passes on Pickens and Metcalf. Meyer’s has no QB this year. if McD actually believes that he is as much an egomaniac as Bean. -
Flores would be a great coach here.

What senior leadership (if any) does Terry move on from in 2025/26?
RyanC883 replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think the Kim situation, as terrible as it is, is materially distracting his ability to manage the Bills and/or Sabres. And the Sabres were a disaster prior to Kim getting ill. she seems to care more about winning than Terry. -
Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

I don't get giving this FO/coaching staff the benefit of the doubt anymore. They are the PSU equilivant of the NFL. Calm down everyone, we will go on a tear then lose in the playoffs and waste another year of Allen. -
Roster Support over the past three years (Beane)
RyanC883 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
the injury excuse is such utter garbage. First, you should have better backups. Second, tons of teams have studs hurt. The Bucs are missing 2 stud WRs. Oh, and then the rookie they drafted, also a stud, gets hurt, and Mayfield is still making it work. SF has a ton of injuries. The Pats had 1/2 their offensive line hurt when we played them yet we couldn't take advantage of it. -
Roster Support over the past three years (Beane)
RyanC883 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
he had one good game. I'm not sure it would take too long. On offense you have Allen, and the OL is probablly elite at run blocking and good in pass protection. So you get a RB 2 and have a stud running game. You trade 1sts or whatever to get an actual WR1. You also get a new OC who knows how to utilize this talent. The remaining stable of WR2s we have should be fine if the WR1 can take the top CB away. That should solve the offense. Defense is a bit more tricky. You need run stopping DT, better ends, completely new LBs (bigger ones who are not injury prone) and a new secondary. Just fill any of those spots with the most impactful player you can get, leaving the rest until it can be upgraded. But, with a WR1, RB2, and one actual impact part on D who is not over the hill, this team could turn it around quickly (oh, also new coaching, at least at OC). -
we also have a "playoff slump"

Terry does not care, apperantly. He is becoming the Bob Nutting of NFL owners. -
100% has to go unless we somehow win the SB. He is the James Franklin of the NFL. Good, not great and not going to lead us to where we need to be.
-
I think they take Cook out because no RB1 runs the entire game, except perhaps CMC. We are missing a capable RB2 (or an OC who knows how to use one). That said, I'm 100% glad Cook was pissed off at giving the ball to Moore instead of him or Allen. yeah, Brady may not survive the season. McD needs another scapegoat, and Brady is just falling into it for him.

Was DaQuan Jones injured in pregame Warm up?
RyanC883 replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this happens a bit. Someone in a game on Sunday was hurt by getting an orbital injury from a stretching band. -
@Carolina --W. We will confuse their QB, they don't have much in the way of a WR. It generally takes a good WR and RB to beat us, which is hillarious because in a QB centric league, we don't even need a top 10 QB to beat us. KC - L. Only benefit here is that the game is in Buffalo. But we have no one to cover their WRs, Rice will be back. @Miami - W. Miami is totally disfunctional with a prisioner as their HC. They are going to fire McDaniels anyway, why not do it now? Tampa - This is an L. The only hope here is because it's a home game. We have no one to cover their WRs, they have a better 4th WR than we have 2nd WR. If Evans and Godwin are back we might get blown out. @Houston - W. Not sure why/how we lose this game. The team appears to be regressing, but they have the talent, and their DL will abuse our OL since Allen has to hold the ball for a year to find an open guy. I still think we win, but will be close. @Pittsburgh - L. Metcalf will feast on our D. Rodgers will pick us apart. Their RBs aren't bad either. However, their D is suspect, so it should be close. Living in PGH I hate the throught of those guys winning, but I don't see the Bills pulling this out. Cincinnati - Is Burrow back? If so, another L. If not, W. @New England - W. NE is an ascendent team, but will struggle in this game. @Cleveland - W. Cleveland is a total mess. Philadelphia - L. Yeah, not happening. AJ Brown has his best game to date. Oh, so does Barkley. New York Jets - W. But, could be close if Tyrod Taylor gets the start. He would get it to Garret Wilson, who will be roaming free in our secondary. So I have us with 10-11 wins. That's likely enough to get a wildcard, beat some team in the 1st round, lose to KC again, and keep McFranklin's job and repeat this garbage next year. I'm not even sold on the Jets as a win. Put Tyrod in there, offense might gain some yards. Super Bowl hangover year. And unlike the Bills ownership, the Eagles want to win and will make the necessary decisions in the offseason if something is amiss (likley not, likely just SB hangover).

Random talking head says something about the Bills
RyanC883 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bean 100% needs to go. McD also. You can blame the coordinators for only so long. Are ours good, likely not. But who is the guy in charge of the circus year after year. -
Did we already miss the window with Josh
RyanC883 replied to BritishBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope you are correct. Nothing will happen w/r/t the front office it seems unless he demands it. But I don't see him doing that. McFranklin will continue to rule at OBD.
