  1. bringing back Ty Johnson is a huge must for the Bills. He kept the offense humming on 3rd down as JAs #1 3rd down weapon. Hollins is another must resign. Guy was clutch and was generally the most reliable WR. Would like adding Sweat and Ward as it lessens the need for whoever we pick early at those spots to NEED to be day 1 contributors. Not excited about Alexander as the No. 30 pick. Would take a CB, WR Tre Harris or DT Collins.
  2. ridiculous that we did not get him. Bean overvaluing draft picks again so he can blow another 1st rounder. Great.
  3. DK seemed fine in the Seattle cold. Bettis played at ND and Pittsburgh with asthma. Perhaps DK has it worse?
  4. this is what bad teams do. overpay at DE when they lack a QB, RB, etc.
  5. not sure it’s a deep draft at pass rusher. Edge, sure, but most seem to be the edge setting type. That said, some FA’s left who would mix well with draft picks. Mack, Koonce, Sweat (my guess is Phl keeps him), and get a high upside guy like Ivey in the 2nd or get a few in the later rounds. Diggs may be a good grt from Cuse later as a pass rushing specialist.
  6. FA Koonce looking good now. Get him and Mack.
  7. totally mismanaged. There should be a dome for this amount.
  8. was more interested in Slayton here.
  9. really like the 1st and 3rd pick here. Do mot know much about JT. Might go Wr and Edge later if JT is more of an edge setter than sack guy.
  10. hanging out with Von in Texas?
  11. nice, paying a lot for a great but not elite player. Is some of the salary for him to perform annual vanishing acts in the playoffs? yep. Greg does not have that killer mentality. Scheme is an issue, but so is the lack of that elite want to win. and that would be a huge failure on Bean’s part warranting his termination if the D sucks again in the playoffs
  12. some of my disappointment with the Bernard extension (really, my only disappointment) is that I thought the thread said "Benford" at first, and was upset we didn't extend him (yet). Dream scenario is keeping Benford and drafting a guy like Barron, Porter, or Hairston in this years draft. Lock up CB for another 4 years that way.
  13. I agree, the contract seems about right, and it's not like he will be a total liability back there. My worst case is he is the same as last year. Very good, not elite/difference maker.
  14. I guess that's the price for a LB who has showed flashes of greatness, but overall has been slightly above average? Hopefully beefing up the DL will help here. I'd still like a LB somewhat early given that he and Milano are injury prone. yeah, but he's not old enough to drink yet
  15. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/2025-nfl-mock-draft-with-trades-two-rounds/ar-AA1ArTeH?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=b7d87d03725448fc9d697834885184ce&ei=12 I'm a fan of Alexander, but not in Rd. 1. If I'm the Bills here, and the board falls this way, I either trade back into 2 and get a 3rd rounder (Bean loves those), or more likely, take one of the following at 30: --DT Collins, Edge Ezeiruaku, CB Porter, S. Starks--likely in that order. I'm fine with the 2nd round picks, but if we got Porter at 30, I'd grab a DT in the 2nd instead of the CB.
  16. wonder if they tried to renegotiate his contract and be said no?
  17. did you find it unusual or strange?
  18. this would be very underwhelming. Not saying it won’t happen, but not great.
  19. well, this can cheer us up: Has us getting Garret and Metcalf. And also having a good draft afterwards: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/bills-make-two-franchise-altering-trades-for-multiple-stars-in-latest-2025-nfl-mock-draft/ar-AA1Ao25z?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=20d8fab462534162b4a3f3f63a887292&ei=19
  20. exactly. This is a move the drought era-Bills would have done. The best DE does nothing for you until you have a QB. Trade him, get picks (draft a good but likely not elite DE this year), take a QB next year.
  21. this type of heresy should earn you a 1 day ban, 😁.
  22. here is my morning draft. I feel that the early picks can get on the field soon and provide impact (first 5, really). The others provide high-upside development and future potential starters, including Lindenberg, Biggers (1T--1st year rotation there also is possible), Slater, Gadsen II (potential Kincaid replacement if needed to trade him away), and Crawford. no way McCord lasts until the 6th where my mock's take him, but he's an instant upgrade over the backup vets we currently have. If we want a legit vet backup, I'd love J. Winston. Yeah, INTs, but he also moves the ball. Seems like the guy you win 50-60% of games with if Allen missed time.
  23. Allen is slow, but has still done a decent job getting open. But def want Slayton as my top WR target.
  24. I'm fine getting him. He's a good player. But we still need that defense-scaring WR1. I think that could be Slayton and K. Allen combo.
  25. not worried about older college players. It's more common now, and if it's the right guy, no worries. I think an older guy may be able to step in right away (Bo Nix). Given our need at CB and DT for an "instant" player, I'd have no problem with Porter or Alexander in the 2/3rd.
