agreed, he is Oliver’s rotation backup. that’s why I added Peebles from VT later on. A couple other 1Ts later in the draft as well that look good. still not sure about that WR room, may prefer Slayton if we can’t get Higgins, but otherwise looking good

The Steelers should keep Fields and put weapons around Fields. Drat a WR in the 1st round. See if he can become a QB like Darnold, Mayfield, etc. who do well with another team. They went 4-1 with him this year (albeit against bad teams). If he struggles, then trade up next year to draft your guy and you have weapons around the new guy so he hits the ground running (well, passing, but you know what I mean).

I would hope he goes public with his issues (coaching, defense, lack of #1 WR, etc.) prior to leaving. Just leaving would do nothing. At least state the issues, and let Pegs try to fix them.
