yeah, I had more comfort there with Prater than the snapper either snapping too quikcly (thinking he needs to get it out pre clock expiring) or holder. I mean, it's the Bills. Hopefully we don't need him to kick too many FGs this year and he only is getting warmed up with EPs.
The OP is right, spotting has been horrendous. Not sure if this is league wide or not, but the one at the end of the game, even the ref in the booth was saying (in kind words) that the refs really messed up.
Also, MCD needed to challange that spot. Almost cost us the game. He was standing right there.
Keon looked like he did pre-injury, and was in the right place at the right time numerous times. Great routes, great hands and ball concentration. Palmar looked great for his first Bills game. Still wish we had a downfield burner, perhaps Moore becomes that. Would like to see more targets downfield early in the game to open everything up.
I was shocked how smooth the whole game-winning FG was. I was worried given how new Pratter was that by rushing onto the field and needing to kick prior to time expiring, the snap would come too early or late for Prater. But everyone did fantastic there.
the whole Ravens last drive was odd. Handing off to Flowers when Henry was crushing our D the entire game. Just weird. Second time in a row the Ravens beat themselves against us.
the suprise here is that SEA has like no one at WR currently. Top guys banged up. TE pass heavy offense perhaps. Darnold must be second guessing this move.
would be interesting to see him in Minny, a developed WR room, esp. when Addison is back who you can slide a one trick guy into for a few plays.
perhaps he is the vet replacement for Forrest. I think Rapp/Hancock or Bishop could be sufficient, but I'd bring in a guy coming off a good preseason as another lotto ticket at the other safety spot.
we do have a lot of CBs.
I guess I figured given that Bishop did not really show a ton in preseason, they'd keep a vet on. I mean, I really am not upset Forrest is gone, just figured another vet back there.
The room is Bishop, Hamlin, Hancock and Rapp. The first 3 are #3's, not starters. And one of them will be starting with Rapp. Hancock has some potential, but is a rookie. Bishop has not shown anything in real games. Just too many ???.
sounds like a good idea for a poll. who else could be the suprise cut? Shavers would be a mild suprise. AJ a larger one. Hamlin (even bigger suprise). Landon (cutting a high rookie pick). ?
he does not project as an impact guy this year. Hope I'm wrong. Elam on the other hand was a total cluster of a pick from inception to how McD used him (or not) here.
I have to disagree with that. Having been a fan in the 90's, the droubt years, and now finally having the BEST Qb in the league but with subpar other weapons (WR, DL, etc.) is not spoiled, it's a total miss by the FO.
