  1. Be interesting who is let go when Ogunjobi, Hoecht return from suspension and any of the IR folks [e.g. Hairston,Strong] are deemed ready for play.
  2. Even with injuries you would think they could allow practice squad elevations to get to 50 plus the kicker, punter, and long snapper.
  3. with that drop off is Hamlin > Rapp?
  4. We had one and let him walk. Tim Settle is ranked #5 overall and #7 in run defense among interior defenders.
  5. Is it just me or were the multiple procedure calls for the WR not being on the line of scrimmage a bit nitpicky. Kelce lines up there more often than not to give him a step before he gets jammed at the LOS, he rarely gets called
  6. Uniform when Bills shut out the Chargers to win the 1965 title on the road in San Diego. One offensive touchdown in the game.
  7. Falcon's have three skill positions that have killed Bills in the past. London - WR; Pitts - TE, Robinson - RB, all among the top at their position. Our defense isn't ready for prime time. Our wide receivers aren't ready for prime time. They also have a solid interior D line, and watching NE game film, sure they will be clamping down on James Cook. Puts Josh in a tough spot I would say, esp since they have had extra time to scheme. Divine Deablo is one of the top LB's in the league this year and likely will be spying Josh.
  8. Benford is being paid CB money $17MM per. Rapp is our highest paid safety at $3.5MM per. How would Bishop's Int vs. the saints be classified?
  9. we have arguably the reigning MVP - one of the top 3-5 QB's in the league, yet our total WR room costs less than Jamarr Chase's salary this year.
  10. PFF top rated cornerback this week is Will Johnson from Arizona, 2025 draft class 2nd round 47th pick. On the board when we drafted Hairston, actually ranked higher but slipped due to injury concerns. Also Douglas grading out in the top 10. Makes you wonder about our scheme as well as our talent.
  11. Remember he practices against our DB's, who aren't exactly the fastest guys on the planet.
  12. I would be all for more Shaq Thompson and gimme some Buffalo Joe vs. what we've been getting from Milano and Williams. Since the last two are basically IR'd, might see some of that.
  13. better teams with top QB's have tricky cap situations and high draft positions, - Crosby and Garrett are expecting Watt money - $40MM per year.
  14. Ogunjobi and Hoecht's suspensions should be worth 3.5 - 4.0MM.
  15. He's basically the same height and weight as Jack Campbell, the Lion's LB who also runs a 4.7 40. 6-5 linebackers are an exception tho, most are 6-2/6-3 and thicker.
  16. The Stetson main campus is located in DeLand, Florida, which is north of Sanford and west of Daytona Beach. The law school is located near Saint Petersburg. Not unusual, Penn State has a college of law is located not in State College but in Carlisle, PA. Wife is a retired college professor and one of her late revered colleagues was a Stetson grad.
  17. Joey Bosa is at 163 snaps - 41 per game. Verse, who is graded just above Bosa has played 275 snaps - 55 per game [1 more game].
  18. Jim Brown is considered one of the greatest Lacrosse players of all time. I suspect Josh with his size, intelligence, coordination, quickness and power would dominate in that sport.
  19. Just Saw that the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their 52 senior nominees. Former Bills on the list Jack Kemp Steve Tasker Lemar Parrish [1982 team] Art Powell [6 games in 1967]
  20. The 4 Bills TD drives on Sunday 7 plays 79 yards 4:11; 7 plays 66 yards 4:17; 9 plays 80 yards 6:09; 4 plays 60 yards 1:46. 27 plays 285 yards. Not sure what was going on Q2. Opposing DC's gotta be gulping a lot when they see those. Would be nice if we had a healthy D tho.
  21. Losing Ed O after the first game was less than helpful to our run defense. TJ Sanders is near the bottom of run defense grades. Milano, Phillips, Logue, Bosa, Epenesa all grade poorly against the run, Williams, Rapp, and Solomon overall grades are near the bottom of their position groups. McD's a defensive coach and his defense isn't getting it done.
  22. I thought Doug Marrone was "Meathead" - He's the Pats O-Line coach.
  23. Our offense has yet to score under 30. Allen, Cook and our O-line should be a real headache for the Pats. Our D is suspect, but they have had issues with Stevenson fumbling. I would like to see more Walker and less Sanders in Ed's absence, and our D should have the book on Mack and Diggs. A little pressure from our D-line and some inspired linebacker and safety play would be nice.
  24. With the Week 2 practice to Ed Oliver, the Bills entire DI rotation was jumbled. Hopefully this will shake out before too long. Good news is that Daquan, who many on this board had soured on last season, seems to be improved this season. Hopefully Ogunjobi when he comes off his time in purgatory will be motivated to produce.
