  1. Yeah Harty probably could have walked into the end zone, Diggs and Davis pulled all the DB's toward the middle of the field and they forgot about Harty until it was too late.
  2. Cook had a pair of 14 yard runs back to back in the second quarter, then we have one play for 3 yards on 1 & 10 and we abandon the run setting up a long miss for Bass. Thought we had the Gints back on their heels, and then we squander our momentum.
  3. Bigger and faster than most LB's & Edge Rushers, unfair if he gets in space
  4. Interestingly the schedules are remarkably even the rest of the way. Miami's future opponents are w30-l31, Bills are w30-l30. [bye weeks cause the difference].
  5. And ranks the fish ahead of us. A team we beat by 4 TD's and is also missing several key players due to injury/on injured reserve.
  6. Ran the sim a couple of times. Obviously last game of the season at Fish is HUGE, as that would give us a season sweep. @Chiefs will probably decide the AFC #1 seed as long as we sweep Miami. JAX playing in such a lousy division and with a W over us could be a problem.
  7. The G Men's one strength is their two DT's. Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams. I suspect Bills will attack anywhere but between the tackles.
  8. The one matchup that seems to favor the Giants, is their interior DL [Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams] is stout. Will be a test for Morse, McGovern, and Torrence. Barkley would normally scare me, esp how we have been playing the run, but their O-Line is patchwork to be polite, so whatever he gets is probably on his own. If our edges were healthy [Von on a pitch count, Groot & Lawson dinged up] , their offense tackles are the worst pair in the league.
  9. Expecting a big game by Epenesa, Giants OL is severely depleted. Do have to concentrate our run defense, esp if Barkley plays. Brieda has elite speed, and we have had problems with that this year. Tyrod's MO is game manager so expect that.
  10. Apparently they have a grass field below the artificial surface and that's what they play their type of football [we call it soccer] on. There is a retractable deck below the artificial turf which probably explains why it feels so hard, since it's probably some sort of steel framed deck. From what I understand, soccer teams don't like American football to be played on their grass pitches, as it tears up the field and takes time to recover. Wonder what today's teams would think about some of the field conditions Bills used to play on in the Rockpile.
  11. If Kincaid [concussion] is unable to play on Sunday night, do we see three wide [from among Sherfield, Harty and Shakir] and trust Brown [who is currently the #2 graded Bills lineman behind Dawkins] to anchor the right side.
  12. Chiefs have to hope that Kelce isn't dealing with a nagging ding all season, and that Pacheco stays healthy. Though I saw Mahomes get dinged up in his last game. Their O-line is not playing as well as they have in the past. Their other wide-outs don't make me lose sleep.
  13. Ray Ray and Feliciano could wind up with a ring in SF this year.
  14. I was in High School when Kemp was playing, he was a wizard at the sneak. Billy Shaw blocking on those sneaks is one of the reasons Shaw's in Canton.
  15. Anybody notice that the Chiefs used [an injured] Kelce as a deep safety on the Hail Mary at the end of their game. Whatever it takes....
  16. Non stop flight Buffalo to LAX is ~5:30, 3 hour time change. Non stop flight Buffalo to London Heathrow is ~6:50 5 hour time change. West to East for a 1:00 game has always been a problem for the west coast teams, London games are close to the same deal. Would it make more sense to start the London games at 6:00 PM London time, which would be 1:00 PM East Coast time.
  17. And we stopped Tua from getting the ball out quickly, but no Benford, Tre, Cookie, and Daquan deprives us of several of our top defenders.
  18. Jamie Erdahl just saying that Gabe Davis is Josh's QB Whisperer, relies on him for feedback.
  19. I would seem to me that Reggie Gilliam would be the logical helper on a push play. He's 5 inches shorter than Josh and weighs more. Wonder if the Refrigerator play is still legal. What if we lined Torrence up as eligible in the backfield.
  20. Diggs actually has a higher run block grade than Gabe Davis. Davis is grading out as the worst run blocker of the regulars.
  21. Those schemes are getting new wrinkles, that 40 yard dump play to Cook was never seen in the Daboll years.
  22. Can't overlook the Eagles that would be a statement win before the bye.
  23. Our pass rush has 13 sacks and a multitude of hurries in the last two games, I think McD will be glad to have Von, but think he may be very deliberate using him after Tre's injury. In our next 7 games, Jax is .500, TB is 3-1, everyone else we play is 1-3. I would be thrilled is Von played a few series starting in a couple of weeks, but he is needed for the Philly, KC, Dallas games in weeks 12, 14, 15.
  24. Battles to watch: Jags have 3 solid corners; Dawkins and Jax's Josh Allen should be fun to watch; McGovern will have his hands full. Benford and Poyer will have to play well. Lawrence will be a totally different challenge than any of the QB's we have faced so far, although we practice against our Josh Allen every day, who is of similar size and arm talent.
  25. GMFB just gave the week 4 scepter to Dawson Knox for his angry run
