Well, another worthless stat..total QBR
BearNorth replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh's QB sneaks & Cook's runs on the goal line basically vulture his passer rating. If Bills had scored on the Hawes catch instead of it being at the 1 yard line, Josh's passer rating would have been 119+, similarly if Cook had scored instead of being tackled at the 2 after his 51 yard run, passer rating would have been 126+ with 4 TD's. -
Overall our opponents were 4-13 in week 1. Winners were Philly Tampa Cinci and Steelers.

The Ugly The Bad The Good... The Bills Defense v Ravens Thoughts
BearNorth replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Damar Hamlin - as maligned as he has been on this board, would have been an improvement over either of our safeties, a two year starter and he did not see the field for a single defensive snap. Cam Lewis - played nine snaps on D and graded out higher than any other defensive secondary player not named Taron Johnson He's a vet and knows McD's defense. TJ Sanders should not see the field if last night was any indication, Jordan Phillips would be an upgrade. [Yeah I said that] -
A few Random Thoughts After the Ravens Game

The Pass to Hawes was pretty remarkable as well. Few QB's can make that throw. -
Bills sign a new punter!! Welcome Cameron Johnston

Bills put Bass on IR before the game, used a practice squad elevation for Prater, so they still had Bass's roster spot. -
As a cost controlled 5th rounder for three more seasons.

Koch Family is supposedly worth 150 BB, Tisch's are pikers by comparison $11 BB a chunk of which is their share of the Giants.

Price the team pays for having #17 in his prime earning years.

Reid Ferguson is the longest tenured Bills Player [2017]. He has played in 131 games [all of them] since becoming the regular long snapper.

Last I knew most military academy grads are pretty smart guys as well, not a bad thing in the overall evaluation. I think if you cut Codrington tho, you have to keep Hamler on the active roster.
-
Davis is certainly enough of a specimen to play teams, but will he at this point in his career?
-
If you are cutting Hamlin, do it now...

Is Micah Hyde at this point worse than any of our rostered safeties not named Rapp. -

I imagine #17 might have some input into that discussion, they seem to be besties. -
Given McD's like for "smart" players, could this mean Wande Owens [Yale grad] gets a shot? - ridiculous hops - 43" vertical 11'-3" broad jump. Has experience as both a CB and box Safety.

Tasker became a Bills legend as the gunner and developed into a useful WR.

Claire Lee Chennault. Spelling is quite a bit different. Chennault's 2nd wife was Chinese and a prominent figure in the China Lobby before Nixon recognized them in the 70's.

Henry Knox was George Washington's Chief of Artillery and the namesake of Fort Knox.

Who is on the Mt. Rushmore of Bills Special Teams

As far as kickers, its a close call, and obviously Christie kicked in more meaningful games, but Rian Lindell had a higher FG% and XP% than Christie, and his kickoff average was slightly longer as well. Lindell missed 1 XP in 10 seasons. -
Metzelaars was 6-7 255, and had great feet as he was one of the best D-III basketball players of all time. Played 16! years in the league. Hawes is 6-4 and 255.
