  1. What makes Josh special is that he actually surpasses his measurables in game situations. How many QB's have won Angry Runs running over a LB? His speed is listed at 4.75 40, but he seems to exceed that in game situations. He makes throws with his arm talent that have coaches going NO! NO! NO! - NICE PASS.
  2. He had a neck injury halfway through the Bills season in 1997. Rehabbed, then took 1998 off to deal with his wife's illness. Bills released him and he signed with the Browns, but reinjured the neck and had to retire.
  3. I was there, not sure the spike rule was the same back then, and the refs were definitely doing whatever they could to keep Tennessee in the game.
  4. Since they are both dome teams, moving it to Arizona might make the most sense, keep the time zone advantage for the 4 seed Rams
  5. This worries me a lot, we've had a punt blocked that cost us a game, 4 missed XP's, and inconsistent FG kicking all season, plus Bass isn't exactly using the new kickoff rules to the Bills advantage, we are 4th worst in return yards allowed and we are one of only two teams to give up a kickoff return TD.
  6. Our three-headed RB room all can catch and run after the catch.
  7. Bonito is ranked 21st among Edge Defenders, Rousseau is 12th and Von is 15th. Our O-lineman will be used to his speed and quickness facing those guys all the time. Franklin-Myers their LDT is solid, so will need a strong game from McGovern and Cybo.
  8. Throw in Anderson at TE on that side, mountain of humanity there
  9. Bulletin Board Material for this week: PFF All-Pro Selections Denver - W 10 L 7 Meinerz [G] Mims [KR] Surtain [CB] Jones [S] Bills W 13 L 3 + Game 17 Benford [CB]
  10. PFF came out with their All-pro team. Only Bill mentioned was Benford as 2nd team CB. Josh was not graded as either First [Lamar] or Second [Burrow] QB
  11. We also gave Joe Milton bragging rights to being the highest graded QB in PFF in 2024 - 95.8. BTW everybody who was gushing about how fortunate KC was to have Wentz, he graded out in the same range and Mitch and Mike White - High 40's to 50. Wonder if Tyrod would be interested in coming here to backup Josh?
  12. Corporate bigwigs hosting investors and their counterparts from their largest customers. Not real price sensitive. Also Mardi Gras is Mar 5th, so the Big Easy will already be well into party mode.
  13. i just looked at Spotrac and he signed an extension this season, it says he has like $88 Million in dead cap, so Fish are in Cap Jail if he leaves.
  14. Fitz is a Harvard grad, had one of the highest Wonderlic Scores ever, Earned 82 Million in his NFL career, has a cushy TV gig, and seven kids, lives in a suburb of Phoenix where he almost never has to shovel snow. Why would he ever want to work 100 hours a week and sleep in his office developing game plans.
  15. Reid Ferguson was also the guy who got bulldozed against the Rams when they blocked the punt that turned out to be the difference in the game. So he is responsible in part for us not being the #1 seed.
  16. Spotrac says that's what Tee is worth. Ja'marr makes a 5th year option in 2025 of 22MM [unless he holds out]. Agreed, Chase will reset the WR market spotrac saying at least $33MM average.
  17. Burrow is saying that he wants them to keep Higgins. Not sure how you have a $45MM QB, pairing that with two $25MM wideouts. That's 35% of your projected cap for 3 players. Throw in Hendrickson at $20MM, coupled with one of the least financially sound owners [Mike Brown], not sure how they do this. Also keeping wideouts into a second high priced contract is looking like a bit of a gamble.
  18. Well considering the head coach [Saleh] they fired was considered an elite DC???
  19. Speed and quickness have a shelf life. Receivers get banged up with hits where they can't protect themselves. Average age of the 10 wide receivers with the most receiving yards is 24 - 5 are still on their rookie contracts.
  20. That team had a decent Wade Phillips defense, but the offense, with 36 yr old Jim Kelly was middle of the pack - not nearly as explosive as the 2024 Bills. that team scored 14 rushing touchdowns fewer than James Cook did by himself.
  21. he graded out at a 53.3 overall grade, very strong pass block grade 78.3, less so on running plays 44.5 still a bit undersized at 6-7 290, probably will have an offseason program to get bigger and stronger.
  22. I only counted the common site game [@ NY], I also didn't count the Bronco's win over the KC scrubs.
  23. Interesting in a ranking of NFL ownership, most of the "old NFL family" franchises are a hot mess. Mark Davis, Mara's, Halas[McCaskey], Bidwells, Jerrah, Mike Brown. Only "old line" teams highly regarded are the Rooneys and the Hunts. Jury still out on the Lions as they have only been good for a couple of years. Kraft may be slipping with his recent coaching fiasco. McDermott was once a "hot shot assistant"
  24. We played 5 common opponents. Both teams got blown out by the Ravens. Bills were 4-0 vs. Full strength Chiefs, Colts, Jets, and Seahawks, total Bills margin in those games was +43. Bronco's split 2-2 against the same 4 teams with a margin of +11. Biggest outlier was the Seahawks, where Bills won by 21, Broncos lost by 6.
