Yeah, I think King Henry and Saquan have changed the narrative on second contract running backs if they are truly elite. I think Cook is, just wish we had more designed passing plays to use his quickness in the open field. I think our O-line is under contract for next season at least.
Josh Allen had a bit to do with them giving up 29 points, his two throws to Hollins were other worldly. Both of them in the "How in the hell did he do that" category.
In the case of our LB's literally small. KC has LB's who can cover and are still thumpers. We have LB's who are basically large DB's who get run over by RB's and TE's.
Rules committee has to make the spots instructions specific and add tech to help the refs. Will probably involve negotiations and $ to get the refs to give up some of their ability to influence the game.
He was second to Cam Lewis among DB's in Pass coverage rating 66.0, gave up 1 catch for 5 yards in 2 targets, played 22 snaps on pass defense.
Tied with Taron in run defense with a 52.8 grade in 17 snaps.
Held his own I would say.
Chiefs weak links are LG and RT, so one would think Ed O. and Groot/Von would need to have good days. A bit worried about our LB's and S's with Kelce & Gray.
They have studs at the tackles and at center, and that means the guards nearly always have help close by. Cyborg is young, but his performance against Jones, leads me to believe he will be elite before long.
Using this year's PFF grades;
Offense:
Allen
McGovern
Kincaid [low snap count due to missing games]
Cook
Shakir
Spencer
Dion
all rank in Top 32 at their positions, theoretically could have a spot on any team in the league
Defense
Benford
Groot
Oliver
[Von] - again low snap count
That's 9-12 who could start for any team in the league.
Baltimore's starters on O & D are graded by PFF higher than either the Bills or the Chiefs.
Ravens 72.6 Chiefs 69.8 Bills 69.1 average for their 22 O& D starters. Lamar + Henry are graded #1 at their position. Bills O-Line gets little respect for their league best performance in avoiding sacks.
BTW Chiefs have given up 43 sacks to 14 for the Bills.
