  1. Of the top 15 edge rushers in the league [Household names mostly, Hendrickson, Garrett, Watt, Bosa ...] Average height is right at 6-4, average weight is right at 260. Four teams with two edges graded in top 15 - Steelers [Watt, Highsmith], Texans [Anderson, Hunter], Cleveland [Garrett, McGuire] and Bills [Von, Groot].
  2. I was a senior in HS. Bills defense matched the ethos of WNY, lunch pail, get er done. Stratton's "hit heard round the world" put Buffalo on the football map. And of course Cleveland was the NFL team that was usually on the TV. That would have been epic - Cookie and Jim Brown head to head.
  3. Pretty sure JA17 can and has done this. Insane arm talent.
  4. Bills had 76 Offensive Snaps to 42 for Bronco's. Bronco's had a lotta snaps to play defense.
  5. Moorman had 13 seasons, all drought years 190 games 979 punts.
  6. Sure looked to me like Samuel had a change of direction on his way to the end zone that had Surtain looking for his athletic supporter
  7. If you play 3 LB's then Andrews becomes a coverage problem, he's a mismatch for our LB's.
  8. 49.2 coverage grad yesterday. Compared to the much maligned Bills FS - Damar Hamlin who had a 71 coverage grade and a near interception.
  9. poach Edwards-Helaire from the Saints practice squad ?
  10. After Action Injury report. Obviously Ray Davis is concerning, but Ty Played well and he's Josh's Third [& fourth Sunday] down security blanket. Josh's thumb, Taron & Cam came back after the concussion checks, Alec Anderson has a calf but came back, he played 22 snaps on the OL. I did like that the Bill snap count advantage was 76-42, and Bronco's only had 17 rushing plays, so a lot less wear & tear on DB's and LB's. Need all hands vs. the Dirty Birds.
  11. Do we see any Buffalo Joe, he's a bigger linebacker, in obvious Henry carries.
  12. PFF Big Draft Board is showing 6 Edge 3 DI with first round grades. Lot easier to find 250-275 pound athletes, than 330# folks to play in trench warfare.
  13. I thought our head coach was a defensive cheat code against rookie QB's?
  14. Yeah, I just saw a post that said he was expected to start. Wondering if Groot and Von made them opt for a better pass blocking RB.
  15. Looks like Ray Davis is our returner today on both KR and PR.
  16. Henry is still a cheat code. Worth every penny
  17. This travesty makes McDermott a shoe in for coach of the year. How does a team win 13* games with 1 All-Pro? [* Asterisk is because we didn't play most of our starters in the Finale]
  18. Biggest challenge with a roster this healthy are who is inactive
  19. Chargers don't have a Keith Lincoln, neither do we have a Mike Stratton, That play decided that game.
  20. Money talks, the Denver ownership group [Wal-Mart family] are the wealthiest owners $75BB in the NFL. They are relative newcomers, but the other owners are small potatoes in comparative wealth.
  21. What makes Josh special is that he actually surpasses his measurables in game situations. How many QB's have won Angry Runs running over a LB? His speed is listed at 4.75 40, but he seems to exceed that in game situations. He makes throws with his arm talent that have coaches going NO! NO! NO! - NICE PASS.
  22. He had a neck injury halfway through the Bills season in 1997. Rehabbed, then took 1998 off to deal with his wife's illness. Bills released him and he signed with the Browns, but reinjured the neck and had to retire.
  23. I was there, not sure the spike rule was the same back then, and the refs were definitely doing whatever they could to keep Tennessee in the game.
