  1. better teams with top QB's have tricky cap situations and high draft positions, - Crosby and Garrett are expecting Watt money - $40MM per year.
  2. Ogunjobi and Hoecht's suspensions should be worth 3.5 - 4.0MM.
  3. He's basically the same height and weight as Jack Campbell, the Lion's LB who also runs a 4.7 40. 6-5 linebackers are an exception tho, most are 6-2/6-3 and thicker.
  4. The Stetson main campus is located in DeLand, Florida, which is north of Sanford and west of Daytona Beach. The law school is located near Saint Petersburg. Not unusual, Penn State has a college of law is located not in State College but in Carlisle, PA. Wife is a retired college professor and one of her late revered colleagues was a Stetson grad.
  5. Joey Bosa is at 163 snaps - 41 per game. Verse, who is graded just above Bosa has played 275 snaps - 55 per game [1 more game].
  6. Jim Brown is considered one of the greatest Lacrosse players of all time. I suspect Josh with his size, intelligence, coordination, quickness and power would dominate in that sport.
  7. Just Saw that the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their 52 senior nominees. Former Bills on the list Jack Kemp Steve Tasker Lemar Parrish [1982 team] Art Powell [6 games in 1967]
  8. The 4 Bills TD drives on Sunday 7 plays 79 yards 4:11; 7 plays 66 yards 4:17; 9 plays 80 yards 6:09; 4 plays 60 yards 1:46. 27 plays 285 yards. Not sure what was going on Q2. Opposing DC's gotta be gulping a lot when they see those. Would be nice if we had a healthy D tho.
  9. Losing Ed O after the first game was less than helpful to our run defense. TJ Sanders is near the bottom of run defense grades. Milano, Phillips, Logue, Bosa, Epenesa all grade poorly against the run, Williams, Rapp, and Solomon overall grades are near the bottom of their position groups. McD's a defensive coach and his defense isn't getting it done.
  10. I thought Doug Marrone was "Meathead" - He's the Pats O-Line coach.
  11. Our offense has yet to score under 30. Allen, Cook and our O-line should be a real headache for the Pats. Our D is suspect, but they have had issues with Stevenson fumbling. I would like to see more Walker and less Sanders in Ed's absence, and our D should have the book on Mack and Diggs. A little pressure from our D-line and some inspired linebacker and safety play would be nice.
  12. With the Week 2 practice to Ed Oliver, the Bills entire DI rotation was jumbled. Hopefully this will shake out before too long. Good news is that Daquan, who many on this board had soured on last season, seems to be improved this season. Hopefully Ogunjobi when he comes off his time in purgatory will be motivated to produce.
  13. Thought that was the whole reason for signing Samuel [4.31 40 time]. He's been inactive three weeks and basically a return guy vs. Saints.
  14. I'm old enough to remember the K-Gun, where the K was TE Keith McKellar. Perhaps the three TE set will be the J-Gun with Josh, James, and Jackson.
  15. Centre is the british english spelling. Know there is a Centre college in Kentucky.
  16. Um - Jets, Saints, Titans and sadly Giants [staffed with a healthy group of Bills alums] could all be classified as recent dumpster fires.
  17. PFF on their page just ranked Eagles starting OL first, Bronco's OL second Bills OL Third. BUT their own data doesn't support that. Bills starting 5 average 80% percentile, Bronco's 77th, and Eagles 61st percentile. Wonder who's fact checking some of these articles.
  18. Chiefs lose and Chargers win and Chiefs are 3 full games behind with 13 to play and KC has a much tougher remaining schedule - Bills, Lions, Ravens. Chargers already beat Chiefs in Sao Paulo, so best Chiefs can get head to head is a split.
  19. Jordan Malaita for the Eagles is trending towards HOF level, perhaps not 1st ballot, but he is a physical freak and top 10 at his position for the last five years.
  20. Yet our PFF D line rankings are: Edge - Bosa 5th, Groot 18th [Of 116]. Interior DL - Ed has the NFL's top grade for the Baltimore game, Daquan is 4th [of 119]. If Oliver is anywhere near 100% when he comes back, we have a stud starting DL.
  21. Hyde and Poyer in their prime were solid, - their prime has passed. So far Bills haven't done a good enough job scouting and drafting & coaching to replace them.
  22. I find it interesting that both Bosa and Daquan are grading in the top 5 of their positions, and Ed was #1 for the game he played, Groot is in the top 20. Behind them tho, our secondary looks less than a top crew. The only back 7 players who are grade above the midpoint at their position are Taron and Tre White. Benford has had a huge fall off. I think any team with a lot of speed at RB and WR is going to give us problems unless the coaches find a fix.
