  1. Rules committee has to make the spots instructions specific and add tech to help the refs. Will probably involve negotiations and $ to get the refs to give up some of their ability to influence the game.
  2. McD trained as a coach under Andy Reid, he still hasn't found the move that allows him to surpass his "Jedi Master"
  3. Already used in the USFL, Tech is there.
  4. He and Hallie are both California people, just saying. Shanahan or McVay would both love to have him I'm sure.
  5. I was at the Music City Miracle, refs would not have gotten out of the stadium alive if they had called forward lateral.
  6. Cook to the right side behind Brown and Hollins
  7. Refs letting KC play, Bills getting flagged for the slightest infraction.
  8. I thought on the 2 pt try, cook to the right behind Spencer, & Hollins.
  9. Wondering if Elam is up in case they have to use Cam at Safety?
  10. Except that KC has, on IR - Rashee Rice, Skyy Moore and Mecole Hardman. We have no one of comparable talent level on IR.
  11. He was second to Cam Lewis among DB's in Pass coverage rating 66.0, gave up 1 catch for 5 yards in 2 targets, played 22 snaps on pass defense. Tied with Taron in run defense with a 52.8 grade in 17 snaps. Held his own I would say.
  12. Chiefs weak links are LG and RT, so one would think Ed O. and Groot/Von would need to have good days. A bit worried about our LB's and S's with Kelce & Gray.
  13. They have studs at the tackles and at center, and that means the guards nearly always have help close by. Cyborg is young, but his performance against Jones, leads me to believe he will be elite before long.
  14. Using this year's PFF grades; Offense: Allen McGovern Kincaid [low snap count due to missing games] Cook Shakir Spencer Dion all rank in Top 32 at their positions, theoretically could have a spot on any team in the league Defense Benford Groot Oliver [Von] - again low snap count That's 9-12 who could start for any team in the league.
  15. Old enough to remember his dad as a Bills LB.
  16. Baltimore's starters on O & D are graded by PFF higher than either the Bills or the Chiefs. Ravens 72.6 Chiefs 69.8 Bills 69.1 average for their 22 O& D starters. Lamar + Henry are graded #1 at their position. Bills O-Line gets little respect for their league best performance in avoiding sacks. BTW Chiefs have given up 43 sacks to 14 for the Bills.
  17. Not sure, Jamie Erdahl just announced them on NFL Network.
  18. Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson are finalists for The Associated Press 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award.
  19. I'm a Buffalo native, 76 yrs old. My grandfather was the Fire Dept Chief for South Buffalo, all the industrial areas. My dad was shot down in WW2 and never recovered fully and died when I was six, so my grandfather would often take me in his chiefs car on Saturday's to give my mom a break. the stops included visits to tavern's in the morning, the back rooms of barber shops, etc. Sometimes we would go to Fort Erie and I would get to ride on the guide ponies at the track. Scene straight out of Damon Runyon. I would love to see everything fair and square as well.
  20. I seem to remember that former Bill Don Beebe, actually has a "speed training" business that helps players improve their running mechanics, wonder if Coleman would benefit from something like that.
  21. If you ever watched the movie "The Replacements", with Gene Hackman and Keanu Reaves, there was a story line about an English kicker, who was involved with gamblers. I have always suspected that story line did not just come from the figment of some writer's imagination.
