  1. With the Week 2 practice to Ed Oliver, the Bills entire DI rotation was jumbled. Hopefully this will shake out before too long. Good news is that Daquan, who many on this board had soured on last season, seems to be improved this season. Hopefully Ogunjobi when he comes off his time in purgatory will be motivated to produce.
  2. Thought that was the whole reason for signing Samuel [4.31 40 time]. He's been inactive three weeks and basically a return guy vs. Saints.
  3. I'm old enough to remember the K-Gun, where the K was TE Keith McKellar. Perhaps the three TE set will be the J-Gun with Josh, James, and Jackson.
  4. Centre is the british english spelling. Know there is a Centre college in Kentucky.
  5. Um - Jets, Saints, Titans and sadly Giants [staffed with a healthy group of Bills alums] could all be classified as recent dumpster fires.
  6. PFF on their page just ranked Eagles starting OL first, Bronco's OL second Bills OL Third. BUT their own data doesn't support that. Bills starting 5 average 80% percentile, Bronco's 77th, and Eagles 61st percentile. Wonder who's fact checking some of these articles.
  7. Chiefs lose and Chargers win and Chiefs are 3 full games behind with 13 to play and KC has a much tougher remaining schedule - Bills, Lions, Ravens. Chargers already beat Chiefs in Sao Paulo, so best Chiefs can get head to head is a split.
  8. Jordan Malaita for the Eagles is trending towards HOF level, perhaps not 1st ballot, but he is a physical freak and top 10 at his position for the last five years.
  9. Yet our PFF D line rankings are: Edge - Bosa 5th, Groot 18th [Of 116]. Interior DL - Ed has the NFL's top grade for the Baltimore game, Daquan is 4th [of 119]. If Oliver is anywhere near 100% when he comes back, we have a stud starting DL.
  10. Hyde and Poyer in their prime were solid, - their prime has passed. So far Bills haven't done a good enough job scouting and drafting & coaching to replace them.
  11. I find it interesting that both Bosa and Daquan are grading in the top 5 of their positions, and Ed was #1 for the game he played, Groot is in the top 20. Behind them tho, our secondary looks less than a top crew. The only back 7 players who are grade above the midpoint at their position are Taron and Tre White. Benford has had a huge fall off. I think any team with a lot of speed at RB and WR is going to give us problems unless the coaches find a fix.
  12. Where the Fine Money Goes Professional Athletes Foundation (PAF): Supports former players in need through financial assistance for medical expenses and other hardships, as well as providing health screenings and mental health services. NFL Foundation: Provides grants to youth and high school football programs to promote safe and healthy practices, equipment, and facilities.
  13. Syracuse native, Dad was a noted HS hoops coach
  14. Entire family is making the trek. First time in probably a decade. Since wife and I are in our late 70's could be our last foray to the OP. Have to find out from our son where we are sitting, he bought tix the day they came on the market. Go Bills That is proving costly, our O-line seems to be winning the LOS and Cook is quick as a cat to the second level. If DC's creep Safeties into the box, hopefully Brady will capitalize.
  15. Nex Gen stats show Keon's separation was the same as Tyreek's - on much shorter routes. keon also ranks 7th among WR's in catch percentage at 77.8
  16. Yeah and if they were to add him to the active roster and later release him he would have to clear waivers.
  17. I think they were running a dime package, 3 CB's 3 S's 1 LB [Bernard]. Lewis can play both CB and S.
  18. We don't have any wide receivers [perhaps Moore] that would flourish in a deep ball environment. 40 times: Coleman 4.61 Shakir 4.43 Palmer 4.52 Cook 4.42 Moore 4.35 Shavers 4.59 I feel the need for speed
  19. Gilliam leads the team every year in ST snaps. Basically the captain of our coverage teams. Not sure you are going to see a rookie dinged up CB take that workload.
  20. And of course our 3 tech Oliver, who is graded #1 in pro football, sprained his ankle in practice. Hopefully he will be close to 100% when he returns, said return complicated by 2 games within 8 days of his injury.
  21. We have one, he wears #17.
  22. Wondering if Frank Gore Jr might get a call-up?
  23. This thread will age well as Josh and Hawes continue their Vulcan mind meld. Hawes is Prototypical size for a TE, loves to block, is very smart, and I suspect teams are already having to game plan for our three TE set. Pick your poison; and oh by the way Cook is in the kitchen.
  24. Hawes is showing some elite physicality.
  25. I just saw a [hopefully not credible] thing on my feed saying that the Bears are making Tremaine Edmunds available as a Milano replacement. Crossing my fingers this does not have a shred of truth to it.
