  1. I'd say only Chicago is desperate. Jags have 2 decent QBs, Miami will be drafting one in the top-5 & plus Fitz, Detroit has either Stafford or can draft one at #3.
  2. I like all but Funchess, we better not sign that turd.
  3. Gurley is done, he's not worth 50% of his contract.
  4. I don't expect Phillips to get much interest from other teams during the 1st wave of FA, I bet it'll be days before this plays out. I'd love him back on a Spain-type deal.
  5. Freeman is toast, no thanks.
  6. He was good 3 years ago, and RBs have the shelf life of bananas.
  7. I think Shaq is better than average. Not a star, but solid. I don't think he's worth $10M+/year, but losing him would hurt, unless we sign another solid DE.
  8. I bet we'll be drafting an OT to compete with Ford.
  9. No way we trade Feliciano. He's our backup Center, and darn good at it. Not to mention our best OG.
  10. We signed Hyde, Poyer, Haushka, & some scrubs, but lost Gilmore & Robert Woods who got huge deals. I still don't understand it.
  11. The real value McBeane have brought, is bringing credibility back to the Bills Organization as a whole. The Bills were basically irrelevant for decades before this regime, it cannot be understated how well, and quickly, they've turned it around. I do have some issues with our gameday conservative offensive mindset, but overall McBeane has been more than solid, 90+ approval rating from me.
  12. I really wanted him when he hit FA 2 years ago. Now, not so much. Why pay a 2-down ILB decent money when you can draft one who does the same thing. Shaq Quarterman, our first pre-draft visit, is the same type of player.
  13. What is Quarterman's projected draft round? He looks like a solid player, but more of a throwback to the 90s type of player whose skillset would only fit certain teams. I'd guess he's a day 3 target, for that price, I'm in.
  14. I'd rather pay Agholor's salary & have him stay on the Eagles than add him to our team. That guy is a turd. I do really like the mock draft though.
  15. Bouye is not worth $15.4M/year anymore. He was pretty bad last year, compared to where he was 2 years ago. Getting a starting CB for a low pick sounds like robbery, but not if you have to grossly overpay him.
  16. The only player I'd make that trade for is CeeDee Lamb. If he's somehow still there, it's worth it. Otherwise, take best available DE/WR at 22. The Falcons are a stud defender & OL help (plus a day 2 RB) away from being a contender again. I don't think they'd move down with a top Defensive player on the board.
  17. I don't think Haskins would bring the Skins any more than a 2nd rounder at best. His rookie year wasn't any better than Rosen's. I think they take a 2nd & run.
  18. Shenault didn't look to be in great shape at the combine. He definitely isn't close to as lean as most of the WRs there, even sporting a little extra weight around the midsection. That said, I remember we all knocked Alshon Jeffery when he showed up with a belly, and he turned out ok.
  19. I'm with you, I've been all-aboard the Mims train for months as well. I've been touting him over Shenault on every Laviska thread, mostly met with jeers. I'm at the point now, where I'd be ok with Mims at 22, but would be move comfortable with a trade down into the later 1st or top of 2nd. Drake just said he's looking for top-5 RB money. I'd like him too, but no way he's even worth top-10 money.
  20. Tyreke Hill's 2 college seasons: OSU- 31 receptions, 381 yards, 1 TD West Alabama- 27 receptions, 444 yards, 1 TD He wasn't invited to the combine, but blew the roof off his pro day.
  21. The 40 time isn't enough to vault Claypool into Round 1, considering his route running & separation ability. To NFL teams, the tape speaks much louder than Combine results. I do however think he could go in Round 2 now, based on the Combine numbers. I have no doubt that draft turds like McShay will project him in the 1st, I just don't see it happening.
  22. I became a Bills fan during the 1988 playoffs, when I was a young teen. I've lived in the Chicago area my whole life & grew up with the Bears, while that was fun in 85' a few years after, the Bills grew on me & became my team. I've been a Buffalo die-hard since then. I used to have to order my Bills gear from catalogs back in the day. Ironically, my wife is from Buffalo. I wish I could say that's why I married her, but it's really just a bonus.
  23. He's definitely getting released, makes way too much sense for the Bengals not to. I think he's a guy who'll get picked up in the 3rd tier of FA & get a 1-year deal. Doubtful it'll be us, but I'd be ok with it on a 1-year.
  24. Trading draft assets for guys like Alshon who not only are past their prime, but carry a huge contract is what dysfunctional franchises do. I could see the Bills doing this in the Whaley era, but we're not that organization anymore.
  25. I've said this in other threads, but I think Shenault is a final piece to make an already very good offense unstoppable, not a foundational offensive star on a mid-range offense like we have. Shenault would thrive on a team like the Saints or Packers. Us trying to make a guy like him our top offensive option is like fitting a square peg into a round hole. Before anyone says he could run the Jet too, we run Jet motion 2-3x a game, not worth using a 1st rounder for that role IMO. Mims on the other hand looks like a future WR1 to me (what we need), and he can be had in round 2 or 3. I'd rather have a 1st round DE & Mims, than Shenault any 2nd round Defensive player.
