  1. Sills has been terrible, but does have a catch in every Giants game this season. He's been playing largely out of necessity, he's the most likely one for Hodgins to get a shot over.
  2. The biggest issue the Giants have been having with WRs is understanding the playbook, with the option routes & nuances. They had reduced Kadarius Toney to WR6 coming into the season because he just couldn't get it. Hodgins already knows Daboll's playbook, don't be surprised to see him get an immediate opportunity to play.
  3. I predicted this in another thread. NYG is a great spot for him to get on the field. Wish him the best.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised if Daboll picks up Hodgins, Giants are in dire need of any WR that can play.
  5. Um, he's a probable All Pro at LB. I think we have better options at Safety.
  6. It really feels like a loss to me, I'm glad Josh took it the same way. But if they can play the worst they've played all season & still win, I'll take it.
  7. Agreed. Giants lost 2 starters from their OL last week. They'll turn back into a pumpkin this week.
  8. No NFL team is trading for Cam Akers, let alone the Bills. Yes, he was once a very promising young RB, but then he tore his achilles. He is toast, and definitely not an upgrade from Moss. Even if/when he gets cut, Beane won't even blink. These twitter idiots are just looking for clicks.
  9. Tampa is not paying a 1st rounder & maybe more for a DE. They're 3 months away from being in QB purgatory and will need all the picks they can get. If Chubb gets traded for a 1st, it'll be a contending team that already has a QB for next season.
  10. I have framed autographed jerseys of Kelly, Bruce, Thurman, & Diggs on my basement walls, I saved room to get Josh eventually. Several other Bills signs decorate my basement. I have a full size Riddell Bills helmet in my office. I got a new white riddell helmet for free when I was coaching football. I have a bunch of the vinyl Bills logo helmet stickers & the stripes from when I coached my son's 2nd & 3rd grade teams, when I of course chose the Bills for our team. Made it into a nice piece of memorabilia.
  11. He looks slow as crap now though, those games were back when he had wheels. I doubt he does much of anything in the game.
  12. You can see the effectiveness of the DTs in the LB play. Milano has taken yet another step up, and Edmunds is making a lot more tackles near the line of scrimmage. We've probably already seen more run plays where we have an unblocked LB this year than we did all of last year.
  13. I have an autographed framed Kelly jersey that is the Mitchell & Ness version with the "block" 2 number. The strange thing is that it has small game photos of Kelly in each of the 4 corners of the frame, and he's wearing jerseys with the regular 2 in all of them. I remember looking it up when I noticed & came to the conclusion that Mitchell & Ness just must've been lazy.
  14. Yep, Collins got hurt in an early-season game & Painter came in, then started the following week. Painter is still probably the worst starting QB I've ever seen in the NFL. Collins was ready to return after 1-2 awful Painter starts, but the Colts announced they were sticking with Painter for the rest of the year. The absolutely did that to "suck for Luck", there is no question.
  15. Robinson is washed. Tore his achilles last year & does have 2-3 nice runs this year, but he's been a turd on 90% of his touches. He's a 3.0 yards/carry guy on the Jets.
  16. Hunt has played 48% of the snaps, to Chubb's 53%- only a difference of 28 snaps in 7 games. But Chubb has 126 rushing attempts (5.9/avg) to Hunt's 66 (4.0/avg). I think it's just a case of Chubb being the better player, you'd think he'd get a larger snap share.
  17. Jeudy is a very talented player, but his frustration with the team is showing in spades. Not only is he playing lazily at times, his in-game body language has been beyond terrible. Seeing as Denver gave up their 1st & 2nd round picks the next 2 years for Russ, they're probably not taking less than a late 1st for either Chubb or Jeudy, Jeudy has likely pouted himself out of trade-ability.
  18. Miami just ran that 2nd & long with Hill, Waddle, & Mostert all on the sideline. Why does that personnel package even exist for them? Truly asinine play calling. Then they were about to run that grouping again on 3rd, and Tua had to call a timeout.
  19. I also became a die hard fan in 1989, when I was still a kid. I've never lived in Buffalo, I'm from the Chicago area. I remember all too well how hard it was to catch games in the pre-internet days, I know your pain. I was hard to find any Bills gear, I had to beg my mom to order me a Bills hat or t-shirt for christmas from a catalog & wait 6-8 weeks for it to show up. I finally got to go to a game when I was old enough to pay for tickets & travel to Buffalo myself. The Bills beat the Bears with Flutie at QB. It was amazing for me, similar to your experience. After the game, I went to a local walmart & bought almost anything I found with a Bills logo on it.
  20. What is with all the obsession with adding DEs or WRs not named OBJ? Our DL is set, and we are deep, we don't have a need there. While I admit there is a possibility of Beane being interested in OBJ, unless we lose somebody to injury, there is no way he's going to trade away draft assets for these other WRs mentioned who'd likely be our WR4 at best. We are far more likely to add a Guard than a WR or DE, IOL is something we actually need. Somebody should compile a list of potential OL trade targets.
  21. He's being underutilized, no question. He's 5th in targets & 6th in receptions on the Jets, despite playing the most snaps of all WRs there. The almighty Breece Hall is ahead of him getting more targets. He's been vocal about wanting to be more involved for a few weeks, and it's still the same. He sees the Packers & Giants with dire needs at WR, and is hoping to force his way to one of those teams. I don't like how he's handling it, but can't really blame him.
  22. He looks like he's gone vegan.
  23. That was great. Talley had a huge impact on those Bills teams, one of my all time favorites. It's sad that most young people only know him for the spiderman sleeves
  24. We've already had 1 awful weather game, at least 2 more are likely. That's Josh's biggest obstacle to 6,000. And also sitting out 4th quarters and possibly the Week 18 game.
  25. Our 1st pick absolutely has to be IOL, and a pick in the 30s is a prime spot for that. We have needs at both OG spots, and 2023 could be Morse's last year. I doubt we take OL in each of the first 3 rounds, but I bet we take 2 in the first 4 rounds. I think we're set at CB & DL for a change, unless we lose Oliver or Dane.
