Yes Bruce was the best player on the field that game. He was unstoppable that day at the age of 36 1/2 and the main reason we had the game won. Yes the Titans were a great team and the best wild card team of all time. That’s what made winning the game in the road and having it ripped away by an illegal forward pass as painful as it was.

NFL Network’s Top 100 Games
Charles Romes replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. The catch game was a joke IMO. Few realize Montana threw three picks in that game. In today’s NFL the young QB very possibly would have gotten the hook and would never have had the chance to make the one memorable play. -

Adding Bruce to any defense would make it elite.

Would you have taken 3-2 at the bye?

Looking at the schedule and all we need to do is beat winless teams to be 7-4 heading into Dallas on Thanksgiving. Things are good. -
Gorgeous open air stadium there in Pittsburgh. Cheap and no one is on their case 24/7 about building a new one.

Not ready to pull the plug on Allen altogether but he’s not ready to take us to the promised land this year anyway. We have the cash, while the Jags need the cash and may be looking for a buyer in light of Minshew Magic. Our D may be primed for a Super Bowl run and the Super Bowl QB may be available late season when he’s at his best.

Belichick and Micah Hyde postgame

Awesome. Has to add in that GOAT was staring his receiver down. -
Bills QB Josh Allen becoming a must-watch player
Charles Romes replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He basically willed the ball across the goal line to beat the the Bengals. -
The league would have to get their act together in getting all of the one week only playing fields together. They had to cancel that game in Mexico last year and this preseason there was that disaster up in Winnipeg.

One of the great in game decisions of all time letting the clock run on Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson before the Malcolm Butler interception. -
Grade McDermott's 2019 performance
Charles Romes replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A- blundered badly before the half against the Bengals. If they were committed to trying the 62 yarder instead of attempting to get 4 yards they should have run the clock from 7 seconds to 5 so as not to senselessly give up a Hail Mary try from the 50. -
Since we won, and because of the big play at the end, we can all forget the drop on the two yard line in the first half.

If Chad Kelly Was Ever Going to Make It

Miami would make sense. Having formally tanked they have the luxury of taking on experimental players to see if it works. -
Where is the outrage for Tyler Kroft
Charles Romes replied to Bigantall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never liked the Kroft signing. His only good year was when Eifert went down. Other than that he was never considered good enough to take plays away from Eifert. We are looking to find an Eifert not a Kroft. Beane has had many successes and so must of us I expect are willing to let the Kroft mistake slide. -
Kroft injured his ankle today
Charles Romes replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I did notice that one good year for Kroft when Eifert went down. What it said to me is that Kroft was never regarded to be good enough to push Eifert for reps when Eifert was healthy. We are trying to find someone as good as Eifert. Someone who is not able to take any plays from Eifert has a ceiling of average. -
If I made 28 mil a year I’d hang around the office as well

I have seen enough. Nothing stood out from his resume either. My least favorite offseason signing. Time to move on. Duke to the active roster. -
Bills Can Win the Division
Charles Romes replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 99 Titans (home rum throwback) had the best record of any non-division winner. 13-3. -
Bills least valuable NFL franchise per Forbes
Charles Romes replied to TroutDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They reached for the stars and drafted a high risk highest ceiling potential franchise QB. If things work out in a way that is trending the value of the team can escalate quickly. -
With all of the trickery and rub routes the Pats offense has evolved beyond needing an offensive line.
