Charles Romes replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
All these CBs are a. Indictment of Ingram who did not even see the field when Benford went down. -
Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
Charles Romes replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
did we move up to get Walker AFTER the raiders took Thornton, or did we already have the walker slot when Thornton went off the board. -
Modern stadiums employ a combination of technologies to achieve this dual functionality: Under-Soil Heating Systems: These systems circulate warm water or air through pipes beneath the turf, maintaining optimal root-zone temperatures to encourage grass growth and prevent snow accumulation. For instance, REHAU’s turf conditioning systems keep natural grass roots at optimal temperatures to extend the growing season. LED Grow Lighting: Advanced LED grow lights provide the necessary light spectrum for photosynthesis, promoting healthy grass growth even in low-light conditions. Companies like SGL offer energy-efficient LED grow lighting units that allow grounds staff to adjust light and heat radiation according to the grass’s needs. 🏟️ Real-World Applications Allianz Field (MLS) (Minnesota): Utilizes a combination of underground heating and grow lights to keep its playing surface warm, growing, and free of snow for most of the year. Lower.com Field (Ohio): Employs similar technologies to ensure a playable surface during winter conditions.

Who is the best Corner in Bills history?
Charles Romes replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was a guy from the late 70s to mid 80s. Can’t remember his name. -
Ovi's record. Smth like that in NFL?
Charles Romes replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Dutchman’s record is the most underrated in all of sports. 554 yards in 1951 -
I’m surprised NE could not shop him for more, and more surprised the Giants or other NFC qb needy team did not join the bidding. Everyone knows the week 17 vanilla D game meant nothing. But when your arm is that strong, you can get away with so much more than your average developmental qb, so your ceiling is way harder. Milton’s arm is so strong he doesn’t have to let it go until he sees them wide open. That is rare. I see NE wanting to part ways, so Maye and the whole team knows who is the guy. I really thought they could get a fourth, maybe a third.

League increasing alternate uni games to 4 per season
Charles Romes replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why have the Seahawks been able to wear 12 different uniforms a season the last 25 years. -
I really thought someone would give Cooper the bag and that he’d be making a lot more than Diggs coming off the ACL. His production for the Bills was limited but important, and enough to force defenses to cover the boundaries. We do not beat the chiefs in the regular season without Cooper. Maybe he’s decided to call it a career unless someone makes an offer he can’t refuse. Problem is no one has any money at this stage. I’m sure he’s been offered at least 15 given what an injured Diggs got.

Bills had the best free agent class according to ESPN
Charles Romes replied to BILLS55's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills signed three solid but non-max contract starters to second contracts. That is not seen that often these days, though I’m not sure how it compares overall to the strategy of letting solid players go and harvesting compensatory picks. -
Makes me wonder what cooper has turned down thus far

Bills first Regular Season game Rich Stadium
Charles Romes replied to diannand's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wonder if he could have had another elite year or three if they did not have to run on that concrete like all the artificial surfaces were in the 70s. My knees hurt just watching the tape. -

This Week in Pro Football by NFL films which ran from about 1967 to 1975 and which recently dropped for free on YouTube was quite a production, complete with Sam Spence orchestra backing. The entire series seems to have been preserved. -
Maybe we should sign this Hendrison guy that beat him
-
His best bet for having any kind of cash out in 2026 is to sign asap for whatever is offered, work his way into the lineup and put up 800 yards. Don’t know if his knee will allow that but he’s always been a workout warrior.

Beane’s hole-plugging is way more expensive than many teams, including the Ravens, who wait for the bargain opportunities to appear on the free agent market.
-
I have to believe someone like the Pats and/or Bills threw 15 at him the first days of free agency, now all the money is gone, and he is getting low ball numbers and he’s considering calling it a career.

It’s time for a generational talent, blue chipper
Charles Romes replied to Vickveto's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don’t panic and give away valuable picks to move up a few slots in the first. How has that worked out so far. -
No one is signing Diggs in 2025 until late in the year, and that’s doubtful. It nearly the identical age and injury and class of player as the Odell Beckham injury in 2021. Beckham did not not play at all in 2022 after he limped into the Jets facility in the December 2022 timeframe. He only made it back in 2023 and was never close to being the same, though he was okay for the Ravens in 2023, like a wr4.

Bills finalize coaching staff…some notes…
Charles Romes replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing is screaming out abandoning faith in zone coverage, microdtackles and microlinebackers.
