  1. Where’s the Mahomes bail-out flag. What’s going on
  2. With Kincaid out Brady should see how Coleman works in the intermediate slot. Everyone says Shakir is a slot receiver, but he’s not even that anymore. He’s a backfield receiver now. Shakir has great skills but also has the shortest arms and smallest catch radius in the league. I think Allen just got sick of having to make perfect throws to hit Shakir over the middle past 10 yards. The answer may be on the roster: Coleman.
  3. Drake Maye is leading the MVP race with castoffs Bills WRs that were not separating, easily handled in man coverage, and holding Allen back. Time to stop whining and make it work.
  4. Joe Burrow has returned to practice. 21 day window opened. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46918631/bengals-joe-burrow-returns-practice-21-day-window-opens
  5. Honestly, I’m shocked we haven’t seen a defender sit on the little screen to Shakir and take it to the house - yet.
  6. He actually did a decent job after getting burned for the TD to make sure the pass was incomplete. Waddle did end up dropping the pass due to Hairston’s efforts and the catch did not survive ground. I don’t know why it was ruled complete when he didn’t hang on to it. Should have been placed at the 1.
  7. Allen had 15 seconds to find someone on first down and no one was open. Miss Hollins running the secondary ragged by the end of the first quarter.
  8. Sanchez’s wife is a TV actress who plays a woman in love with a disgraced football star. Kinda crazy.
  9. still don’t understand why the chiefs did not lose a timeout for challenging a call that was not reviewable.
  10. Wait…I thought it was all Kromer.
  11. On the other hand, guys coming off nasty lower leg injuries are not a bad place to mine for value if the player is young enough. Sometimes, full recovery is not achieved until year 3 after the injury.
  12. Hoecht went down in the fourth quarter, a play before the 4th and 17 conversion.
  13. The stages of Oliver/Hoecht grief: 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. BARGAINING 4. Depression 5. Acceptance
  14. To get 5+ contributors like this year, you need to be drafting 10 or so players. I’m glad they kept all their picks, especially with a history of success in the middle to late rounds.
  15. Would have no issue with Von for the Hoecht role. Also, need a bridge for when Bosa may not be available.
  16. I’d have given a fourth just on a flyer for Mitchell. X receiver skills with speed.
  17. That’s why the 4D chess move here may be to unload Bosa for a second when his stock is peaking.
  18. Was pretty numb watching the 4th and 17 trying to process just watching Hoecht hop off done for the year - strangely didn’t care
  19. I like the way Hairston wildly celebrates every incomplete pass for any reason, often punctuating the celebration with the referee hands-crossed-hands-wide hand signal for “pass incomplete”. It’s exactly what I do at home watching the game.
  20. If a little sophomore slump has actually made this guy available on a first contract, it’s time to push all of the chips to the center of the table.
  21. Like Parcells said, when you have two defensive coordinators, you have none.
  22. Any news about what the specialist had to say about Strong’s neck?
