Tyrod Taylor could get you to 2-2 over four games and has a game that is similar to Allen’s. He no longer commands low tier starter money. LA would be happy to move on from Tyrod if they are developing a new pocket passer.
Allen can miss open receivers but the haters never give him credit for creating many open options every play by virtue of his physical gifts, including ability to sense the rush, incredible running ability, and ability to throw a 30 yard dart on the run.
I thought McDermott was of the same mold as a Tony Dungy in that he refuses to use any profanities. I’m fairly certain there were some F bombs flying when the refs blew the 12 men on the field based on my lip reading.
Common opponents I believe got us in the playoffs in ‘17 despite a worse conference record. Makes sense that the same rule would come back to haunt us.
People are now giving the front office credit for properly bringing Josh along. In fact Allen against all odds carried the front office. He was good enough to salvage something from the 2018 season which by all rights should have ruined him. They surrounded him with a receiving corps that included Kelvin Benjamin as a number one, no offensive line, and no quarterback room until half the season was over.
Allen has also improved vs. blitzes (2018: 2 TDs, 4 INTs, 58.1 passer rating; 2019: 8 TDs, 4 INTs, 83.6 passer rating) with a 7:0 TD-INT ratio and 109.0 passer rating vs. the blitz since Week 5.
!!!
He’s an assassin. When he was threading the needle every third down in the second half against Dallas I was like man I’d hate to have to play against this guy. It was a great feeling.
These posts about viewing the game possibly being in jeopardy are confusing to me. If you are smart you laid down the law of “no disruption of Bills games watching ever” on your first date.
