Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open

Bengals passing O is more dink and dunk than you think. Tre can hold up in that scenario. -
Prime Time Josh vs Sunday 1pm Sugar Rush Josh

He’s also the all time number one NFL playoff passing leader, further testament to the fact he gets even better when the stakes are higher. Why not just announce after the season like many fading HOFers do. He was an incredible player in his dpoy run but since then he’s always been too attention-seeking for his level of production imo. This press release is another example.

3 way tie for conference lead possibility
Charles Romes replied to ehfeuh57's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cinci would be number 1 seed based on head to head sweep having won both games AT HOME while Bills had to play both KC and Cinci ON THE ROAD. I could see head to head result as a valid tie breaker where the win is a road win (Bills take down KC on the road) but it should not be used where the team merely holds serve at home. Should be scored like plus/minus in hockey. -
Bills open as 1.5 point favorites against Bengals(O/U 49)

yup at some point the players demand a house cleaning of the coaching staff and possibly the front office, not that Hackett had any chance of surviving. -
Glazer reports Jets moving on from Wilson.

Watching Trevor Lawrence the last several weeks I’m more thankful than ever that old Frank Gore got that first down late in 2020 and they somehow flubbed the tanking for Trevor. That would be one scary roster with a cheap Trevor Lawrence on it for three more years. -
Bengals might be the overwhelming favorite next year since they have top players in many positions who have not been paid yet including QB. There is possible fatal flaw with the Bengals, in that Burrow does not sense the pass rush all that well. Hopefully the Bills can expose that next week and force more oline spending by the Bengals. Bills will be in a hang-on mode next year with Allen costing 45 and many key players at or beyond 30 costing a lot. Odds are not great that Diggs will remain a top 5 receiver in the year he turns 30 - staying in the top 10 will be an accomplishment at that age if you go by history. Not a lot of salary cap or draft capital to shore up weaknesses or get better with. We all loved the Von signing until week 10, but wth the injury that contract is hurting…a lot.

Tre is good again -
Early in the year when Lawrence was still jaggy I thought the football gods were looking kindly on the Jets for not tanking for Trevor. But yes, yesterday showed they should have completed the tank. Ancient Frank Gore picked up a critical first down for them to complete the non-tank.

Diggs throwing his helmet and asking for the ball more
Charles Romes replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I personally love the shift from the Diggs centered O during this 5 game winning streak. If Josh was not so locked on Diggs we win and the Jets and v Minnesota. Now other threats are being developed for the final run. -
MVP; Hurts / Allen / Mahomes by the numbers...

Josh takes it with a road sweep of the top three opponents in the conference and the one seed. -
Watch: Jim Rome roasts Pats, Myers, Belichick
Charles Romes replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think labeling this play the most embarrassing of all time is overstating it a tad. We have all seen this last play overhand lateral sequence thousands of times (one very famous one against the bills). However, this is the first time any one of us through thousands of plays has seen the overhand lateral picked off for a TD. It was perceived as a relatively low risk move. -
Kurt Warner Breakdown of Josh Allen in the Miami Game
Charles Romes replied to JohnRVA's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Warner is being a little too humble when he said he did not have next level ability. I see a lot of Warner in Allen. Warner was the best of his era in terms of looking deep down field every play, keeping defenses terrorized. Allen is the best of his era. -
I have done the calculation and what is mind numbing is that we could have an incredible stretch run of 7-1 to finish the season, and very easily if not likely be the three seed at 13-4. We could also forfeit the next three games and very likely be the three seed.

Interesting Diggs Split Stat from The Athletic
Charles Romes replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs has not gone crazy in five games and the team has won all five with only one interception during the streak. I like the way they are trying to build up a non-Diggs offense for defenses to have to game plan around. Yards went to Gabe and the running backs v the Browns, McKenzie v Detroit, backs for patriots, Knox v the dolphins. I think they made a concerted effort to use Diggs as a decoy starting with the browns and it mainly worked.
