    The pain can linger get worse and never go away. Or, it can magically disappear overnight. Some say the meniscus tissue can actually regenerate and repair itself, faster with PRP. Some say it can’t. It’s a vast unknown. I’m hoping the fact he’s walking apparently without pain is a very good sign. If your meniscus is torn bad you are limping.

    Kay Stephenson refused to cash in his draft picks to save his job and instead prioritized the future of the team and drafted Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Frank Reich and Derrick Burroughs (trending to perennial all pro before career ending injury) before getting fired.

    It’s difficult to get a sense of degree of Meniscus tear even with an MRI. I expect they may do an exploratory (maybe that’s the definite surgery they are talking about) If he was walking around without a limp as reported and an ACL year is ruled out I see that as a very good sign. Severe Meniscus injuries can be very painful and limp-inducing.

    It’s the longer season combined with there being only one bye per conference. The one seed may not be worth going for unless your schedule is weak. The sneak in and get healthy strategy becomes more viable earlier in the season now.

    This is the slit field turf the NFLPA wants banned. It’s the same turf that took Tre out last year and our Lombardi.

    I’m shocked that shakir is apparently not getting open. Hardly hear his name, though active every week and in the field regularly.

    Those refs were so annoying yesterday, on a mission to get involved. No more so when they whistled Hamlin for 55 free yards for a little hand check when he had his head totally turned and got all ball. When the DB’s head is totally turned and he gets all ball the whistle needs to be swallowed.

    He could not beat out peterman and the team used peterman as the veteran to give the rookie Allen time to develop.

    Van Miller was so emotionally invested that he actually made you feel worse about the situation when there was a soul-crushing loss. When the pain is unbearable you need someone to remind you that it’s just a game.

    Would it be worth it to win the super bowl, and have the whole team fall apart within a year. The answer is YES.

    This is true. Also, the one positive of the loss to Minnesota is that it proves that the team is perfectly capable of frittering away a sure win in an important game at home. Thus, proving that home field is not all that important. We can play better down the stretch on the road than at home as we did in Baltimore and KC.

    They get the Titans with the rookie QB, chargers as the most injured team in the league, bengals without chase.

    I can’t believe KC decided to trade him in the conference, concluding that the Dolphins would not be a threat to anyone with Tua behind center. KC certainly deserves to face Tyreek in the postseason with that level of arrogance. Though the stars always seem to line up in KC’s favor.

    It would have been great to see what Andre Reed would have done with the sticky catch gloves the receivers get to wear these days.

    As horrific as the fumble was, and the last interception, he did have the wherewith-all to drive us down the field into scoring position when we absolutely needed it. Twice.

    He’s the only guy making the plays he’s supposed to. He won the Chiefs game with a fourth quarter sack and interception forcing pressure. Then he won the Jets game with a red zone strip sack that stopped all the momentum of the young team. Only we didn’t win. Then he won the Vikings game with a game sealing sack that forced a 4th and 18. Only we didn’t win.

    I think what the DBs are told is that the best way to avoid PI called every other play now is to always go aggressively for the ball and by making it clear you are going for the catch all contact with the defender may be excused and the PI flag will not come down. Jefferson is just a vastly superior player.
