Kind of disappointing Andre and Bruce were not interviewed. I'm sure they would have been happy to chime in about Jimbo. Pure laziness on the part of NFL Films. Used to be bout quality when the sabols were with us now it's all about the margins.
I was about to start a thread called silver lining for the same reason but the thread was already started. Yes it's much more important for the team overall how Zay will play in 2018 and 19 than what happened on the scoreboard last night. He's getting open and becoming a reliable outlet and making the catches. He also has a remarkably injury resistant body to be able to get back on the field after what looked like a possible ACL which separates him from almost all our starting receivers of the recent past.
I have been questioning whether I like this trade so much just because Benjamin has name recognition. Then I thought back to the Carolina game and yes he was killing us.
I was like well he's a true 1 and that's the kind of play a true 1 makes so all you can do is try to slow him down.
Bennett ended up having a great career but he was first ballot HOF great his first two seasons before the injuries. After the trade the defense started to overwhelm opponents with talent for stretches of games.
It will be very interesting if it's the Pats given the well publicized close friendship between Kraft and trump as well as Brady and trump. It's the leagues biggest brand telling trump to stay out of league business.
Unless I missed something I think the TV announcers whiffed on calling attention to the fact that the kicker forced the fumble. You think someone in the trailer would send a note.
At worst Taylor provides options for the next QB. We don't have to move up to the top 3. We can get a guy 10 or higher with a high ceiling and some question marks.
The upshot from this thread is that it looks like a team can replicate the holy roller by throwing it on the ground backward and not forward when you are close to scoring a touchdown. It's only a matter of time until a someone tries to do what the bucs did but inside the red zone.
This is probably covered in this huge thread, but couldn't Boldin just un-retire, report to the facility and essentially force the team to release him.
Can you get a HOFer to show up on the main screen. I was waiting for the landmark event when the team got good enough that a current player replaces the HOFer. Has not happened in a decade.
The really big game would be the next week against the Jets the following week if they win. The Bills have not been 6-2 at the half way point in 25 seasons and that would be a significant milestone.
