Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)
DrDawkinstein replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
The vibe across the entire Ravens team is off right now. Fans were talking about how even long time veteran leaders who are always Rah-Rah guys were even hanging their heads when walking off the field early in the game. Lamar started with an INT, and then his own version of the Butt (Back) Fumble. And then he saw starters dropping to injuries. And the vibe kept getting worse. So he came up with an "injured hamstring". The mental weakness isnt just a Lamar problem, but that is certainly a place to start, as with any franchise QB. Henry's reaction after his fumble in the Lions game was unbelievable. I was surprised there were no other vets going to him to pick him up, and instead everyone let him throw himself down on the bench and then pace around wide-eyed saying "oh my god, oh my god". Between the playoff loss, and then week 1... Josh basically broke the Ravens franchise. With a little help from the Lions last week. -
Once again Gwar is snubbed for the halftime show because the NFL are cowards. It would be the greatest half time show of all time. For real though, Bad Bunny is a popular choice and it makes sense as he'll draw in an important demographic for the NFL. Not for me, but anyone who grouses about the Super Bowl half time show seriously needs to get some perspective.

If Only They Could Tackle..It's Not Just the Coaching

You won’t win this with me Gunner. Ultimately all final decisions rest with McDermott. He needs to fix it . -
Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone

What skews it even further is we have given up 178 rushing yards to QBs through 4 games and one of those games is 10 yards to Tua. The other 3 games have been 70 to Lamar, and 49 each to Fields and Rattler. That 44.5 yards a game to QBs that pads those rush numbers. The total of 657 rush yards equals out to just over 165 years a game given up. That leaves about 122 yards per game given up to RBs. That's still high but again, as you pointed out week 1 skews it a bit with Henry exploding for 169. They actually contained Breece Hall well and don't do awful against Achane. -
Did you see that... like its seems like a requirement for these guys to be jacked.

Officiating dude had biceps so who are we to question. Groot or AJ are prolly going to be IR stashed.

Dorian strong was one on one outside on the third saints drive, they threw a swing pass to kamara and strong fought through the wr block and tackled kamara out of bounds for two yards. that was a really nice play. So far in the first half watching this Walker fires off the ball unlike any other defensive lineman. Ironically I have seen Jordan phillips with a similar get off also in the second quarter.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

Chiefs just played against the worst defense in the NFL. Of course, offense should get their stats. -

Will this insufferable, useless thread ever die? -
Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
SaulGoodman replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm thinking the Chiefs offense is going to be just fine when Rice comes back. -
I have no heartburn with the halftime performer. He's a huge name in the music biz. NFL is chasing dollars, which is it all it really cares about these days. For 15 minutes?? Damn, man, time to get the ole prostate checked.

Unless I’m getting my threads confused the post I was replying to was massively dooming about the chiefs. It is a typical spread yes that is kinda my point lol. The betting world does not believe the chiefs are some unstoppable juggernaut based on one game against an absolutely terrible defense. Jags are fine they are on the very low end of good if anything. I wish I bet more I coulda retired after yesterday lol chiefs over ravens is free money I was saying it all week -

We've all played with or seen that guy who suddenly starts limping or grabbing his shoulder when things are bleakest. They can't admit they just got beat. It has to be something else - an injury, the refs, the playing surface, anything but their own performance. -
The Killers haven't been relevant in like 20 years. Man, people this out of touch with popular music should really sit this one out.

Mahomes was a 1st round bust his rookie year.

The sad part about the trade is Worthy is exactly the player that this team needs and we did not get fair value -

Good ol' Bill. Now that man knew how to lie, because the lies were arguably not even lies. It all depends on what the meaning of "is" is. Trump can only dream of such hair-splitting eloquence. -

Worthy looked good... against a defense that Coleman scored on and had 112 yards... Not concerns with the Worthy/Coleman deal. -
Time to discuss Reid Ferguson...

I still say that flag was BS. How can you call FS on the snapper? They play starts when he snaps the ball! Did he bob his head like a center does in away games? WTF! -
I am starting to get concerned about our backup RB situation. Cook can’t have this manny carries. Ty looks like a shell of his former self. Ray has gotten almost no action. i was actually thinking that trading for a guy like Raheem Mostert near the deadline might be a risk worth taking. He’s obviously old and coming off injuries, but probably nice to have one experienced ball carrier back there down the stretch.

Well, yes. Obviously. But it's probably the best public golf course in America and extremely difficult. It should be possible to have a major international tournament there. But it's not. The ironic thing is that there's a large Irish population on LI.

Where is Landon Jackson ???
Buffalo Junction replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
This… generally those 3rd round or later guys who turn into great players overcome some legitimate concern — character issues, injuries, lack of development, athletic/size deficiencies — to become excellent starters. It usually takes them some time coupled with solid coaching and top effort to break through. The occasional revelation — Elvis Dumervil — aside it’s a rarity for these guys to pop year one. -
Bad Bunny is cool on Tik Tok.
