  1. Past hour
  2. Because he, and all of us, are just one lightning bolt or heart attack away from not being here any more. Not having a solid plan for succession would be stupid. Period.
  3. Three minutes of utter fvvvckin jibber jabber that made ABSOLUTELY no fvvvckin sense.
  4. God still needs to be able see the Cowboys play, apparently.
  5. Hey, Mup! Here’s a few more I’ll add to the master list: 1. Melissa Auf der Maur (bass guitarist, most notably from Hole) 2. Emily Haines (lead vocalist, Metric) 3. Siouxsie Sioux (lead vocalist, Siouxsie and the Banshees) Apologies if any of them have already been mentioned. I only skimmed through this thread. I had a brief “creative phase” in my life when I learned to play the bass guitar and wanted to sing in a rock band. It lasted about a year or two, until I realized I had no musical talent whatsoever. I still enjoy listening to all types of rock music, though!
  6. I won't even charge you for the replacement referral, Roger... You're welcome...
  7. I bet he’s adopted the TB12 routine. It worked for Brady. 🤷‍♂️ The more he dragged his feet to identify a successor, the harder I would be pushing to get rid of him. But maybe that’s just me. It is your JOB to have a plan.
  8. Back in my early 20's, been out with friends, going back home, one friend was the DD, driving. I'm in the front passenger seat. We are getting on the highway, and I ask him to pull over so I could puke. A cop must have been nearby and pulled in behind us while still on the on ramp. I'm puking and cleaning myself up with napkins, and throwing the napkins on the ground. When I heard the cop talking to my friend, I started picking up the puke smelling napkins and putting them in the car. Why? Because I did not want to get a ticket for littering.
  9. I think that’s where you’re mistaken. Jason Botterill wasn’t fired due to his job performance. He was fired because he wasn’t willing to fire almost the entire hockey ops (assistant GMs, scouts, coaches in Buffalo and Rochester, etc.). Kevyn Adams was hired because: - he was willing to fire all those people, run with a bare bones front office staff and field an NHL team well below the salary cap ceiling, and in his first couple/few years even at or below the salary cap floor. “Efficient and economic” like Pegula wanted. - he was willing to give Terry + Kim a much bigger voice in hockey ops. - he was someone Terry trusted. I honestly think that’s about it. Go back and listen to what Terry said during the press conference where they announced Adams would be the GM (without even interviewing a single other person). it’s horrifying. here’s a good summary from the Buffalo news (if you can read it w/o hitting a paywall…) https://buffalonews.com/opinion/columnists/article_83182297-4504-5091-9a15-e4d889a82704.html Maybe things have changed since that press conference. They are spending a bit more than they were back then. But I have little reason to believe that winning is their #1 priority until more evidence starts showing that it is. Hiring Jarmo is a nice first step if he’s actually going to be in Buffalo full time (not just someone Adams can call when he needs him) and actually have a voice.
  10. Agree and without being able to play off Maj. Burns….well, may she RIP.
  11. Attack, attack, attack ! The violence party.
  12. PFF still has him as the 10th best TE. He's going to be good in this league. Brady, him, and Josh need to figure it out or you'll see him excelling elsewhere. 10. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills Kincaid is another second-year tight end whose production declined from his rookie season, but he has still generated the ninth-most PFF WAR across the past two seasons. His 71.1 PFF receiving grade in 2024 was actually better than his rookie-season mark, but he saw 20 fewer targets and caught 31 fewer passes.
  13. uh oh...let the tears flow
  14. So who was the lucky band member to take her home and do something else that she has not done since her husband passed?
  15. Sally Kellerman was always Hot Lips to me, but she was pretty good for TV. RIP Loretta.
  16. Loretta Swit, the Emmy-winning 'M*A*S*H' actress, dies at 87 Loretta Swit, the Emmy-winning actress most well-known for her leading role on "M*A*S*H," has died, her representatives said Friday. She was 87. Swit died at her home in New York City just after noon Friday, her team said in a statement, citing a police report. It is suspected she died of natural causes, but a report from the coroner's office is still pending.
  17. As two more top prospects go early in the draft to add to the number of better tight ends drafted in the league post DK86. But we shall see. If the Bills can’t find a use for him this season can’t imagine they’d do anything to retain his services
  18. That’s an insult to those of us who really are fun dips.
  19. Neighbor’s kid went into the Electricians local a few years back, they kinda streamlined him to Journeyman. Same thing there, kids don’t want to put the time in and pay their dues. You mentioned “very fine higher education” my kids law firm is experiencing some of the same issues with the generation coming up. They target and hire top/elite University graduates and so many balk at the work and salary.
  20. It’s just Fun Dip
  21. I was at a meeting where the speaker was from the Economic Development Council. He said it was hard to attract some companies because they couldn’t find the right people to hire. Someone commented about all the very fine higher education we have in this area and his response was “No, we need welders and people like that.”
  22. Hear me out, maybe just maybe, if you need to rely on snap to survive, you probably aren't living correctly.
  23. Today
  24. 66. Father time is undefeated. It is for this job. And his bosses arent working real jobs. The best owners are the least involved. Theyre more investors than anything. They want someone younger and able to keep innovating into the future to be doing all the work.
