  1. Past hour
  2. Weird ESPN is claiming this was in retaliation to the loss. Didn't this happen right after the Raven's went up 40-25?
  3. I give the most credit to the failed 2 pt conversions. If not for those bad decisions the Bills would’ve been up by a point with time running down and it would’ve been our defense getting torched for a walk off game winning FG.
  4. I agree with the concept that once you’re pushed out, you shouldn’t be able to just step back on and catch it. No problem there. But if you’ve immediately come back and run across the field it seems a bit ridiculous.
  5. yea, I am curious to see if the tape shows jaire absolutely crumbling. The post game crew was shredding the ravens for keeping jaire on the field. I suspect, and am comfortable with “a slightly more qb friendly Gabe Davis” today but not the he’s a stud stuff already
  6. I think he lost Flowers on the crossing pattern when he scored.
  7. It'll improve with Hoecht and Larry O. Those are two big pieces we don't have, on top of Max/Tre.
  8. I disagree. If he had scored, it would have given the Ravens one more chance against our defense. The fact that he got tackled inside the 10 was the best possible outcome on the play.
  9. Some observations on the DL: I was disappointed how many times the veterans, Bosa and AJ, bit on the run fake and let Lamar get outside. I was surprised to notice Solomon in on the first series. Seems he played a lot this game. I'll be interest to see the snap counts. Sanders stood out to me on a few plays; Walker did not. I hope this is the Ed Oliver we see all season--mostly unstoppable. All in all, I'm encouraged with the young guys--trial by fire. We will need them come February...
  10. We didn't hear his name much except for one P.I. call which I thought wasn't a great call. He did his 1/11th.
  11. that is largely what the plan is there. That or more particularly just go take up space to free someone up. You can’t present as a target.
  12. Here’s a good rule to live by - initiate contact with a stranger and you get to wear the consequences. Bills fans who obsess with Lamar in any other context than a playful MVP rivalry with Josh are telling on themselves.
  13. They are both great qb's, no reason to argue about it. I obviously favor Allen but If we had Lamar I would be happy.
  14. Was THRILLED not a strong enough word? I know I know.... There are always those that say after a mass shooting that it is too soon.
  15. Slightly off: Henry actually has 2548 touches inclusive of receptions) and 21 fumbles overall - 0.82%. If you include his 211 postseason touches and one fumble, he is 0.797%. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HenrDe00.htm Wow, that was really close.
  16. It would have been like 40 seconds with three time outs and the Ravens needing a touchdown but yes he should have gone down.
  17. It appears to me that the Bills made a tactical decision to prioritize pass rushing DT's this year, and I'm for it and that is what would be needed against teams like the Chiefs, however I always thought that they needed to go after a highly effective big-bodied run stuffing 1 technique this year and they didn't do that. The rookie Walker has the frame but he's not a true 1 technique. The team that is being built right now has the Chiefs in mind, but clearly the Ravens have their way with the Bills interior defensive lineman.
  18. Worst Bills defense in team history gets a win... game. Ed Oliver aside.
  19. Allen was pretty salty about the fans leaving early. I mean thousands were streaming out. Can't blame them really, we had a 1% chance to win with 4:42 remaining.
  20. He was a DAWG. Alpha type *****. Love to see him play like a man out there. That 2nd two point try wasn't on him, bad ball by 17.
  21. I will have my crow with franks and Marie's Bleu cheese
  22. Perfect example of why McD should be the Team Psychologist and NOT the Head Coach. (somewhat sarcastic) Or, at the very least, why McD should delegate the game day strategy reigns to others on his staff. There’s no shame in it Sean. You’re just not good at it. It’s okay to admit it.
  23. We all saw the game. No one is buying this. Our schemes did nothing for us. Defense couldnt stop anything until Ed made another individual play. And then the Ravens shifted into a McDefense and Josh worked his magic from there.
  24. Come on man. Let’s celebrate the best home opener ever that our Bills came out on the right side of. I’m not the biggest fan of the guy but it’s Too soon for this stuff.
  25. i have only left one game absurdly early and that was the chargers season opener years ago. leaving with much of the 4th quarter saved me almost 2 hours getting home - zero traffic out of the lots and on the roads. leaving 4 minutes early in another game (i forget who but i was sitting with Jack so maybe he remembers) saved me an hour getting home. (mind you i head west and south, vs everyone else)
  26. Great 4th quarter, but overall, it didn't really alleviate my concerns in terms of ability to consistently separate. I thought he was ineffective to that point, especially downfield. Once they thought they had the game in the bag, they stopped playing tight coverage at the snap and it gave him room to operate. To his credit, he took advantage of it. And to be fair, I do think he's better on shorter routes where he's running parallel to the LOS.
