  1. Past hour
  2. At home vs the Pats*. Juice ran for 200 yards in that game as well -in the snow. My Man Bob Chandler caught 2 TD passes.
  3. I am 71 now and retired (somewhat). I have had many different jobs over the years and none of them sucked. The last three jobs I moved on for vatious reasons and the employers were not happy. Our family relocation to California was interesting. 15 years later we returned to Buffalo. Sometimes you do not know where the journey will lead but do not assume the negative. Meanwhile almost 50 years in Buffalo are wonderful. My daughter still thinks her Garmin is better than my memory.
  4. We were heading to the stadium for a game, driving on the Youngmann Expressway near the Harlem exit, and we passed a car. I looked over and OJ was driving (no, it wasn’t a white Bronco). I waved and he waved back and smiled. I was probably 14 or 15.
  5. On the Buffalo Plus podcast this evening.
  6. Seriously. And Hollywood brown left today. Injuries are not solely the demon of Buffalo. It is an unfortunate part of the game
  7. Huh? Rice last year
  8. We used to go to the airport after road games. Me and my sister met him in the parlking lot. He signed a little football and we took a picture of us two squirts and him.
  9. Almost as pathetic as the dozen anti-LGBTQ threads you and your bot brigade are running like it’s a full-time job.
  10. I watched the first video I posted- which was only on youtube for two days. The video is titled OJ from the Memories of a Buffalo Kid. Its spot on. If you were not a Bills fan in the 70s, you have zero idea how big OJ was, and what a source of pride for Buffalo. OJ seemed like every ones great friend. Imagine if Josh did something evil after he retires? Would you still look at Joshs career fondly?
  11. in fairness to him, the man was spot on about the Matt Milano injury last year haha
  12. Clemons had a nice year in Jacksonville and Bennett had a nice year in Philly their first Superbowl year. But I think both played their best football in Seattle. They were good players who looked better than they were with those studs behind them.
  13. I am 47. My first season watching football was 1990 (yeah, I know). So, OJ doesnt really tick any boxes for me. I am just curious what triggered the post. Birth day? Death day? Bronco speeding down the highway day? Just sitting there drinking a Miller Highlife and decided an OJ post was what was missing from this 90 degree day? My brain gets hung up on how other brains work. That being said, I do enjoy seeing older fans revel in their memories of football past. I suppose I am getting there myself with Okoye, Bo Jackson, Cunningham, Mr. #78 filling my mind with happy memories.
  14. I was at the game prior to the game he broke the record. I was 9 yrs old and a neighborhood friend had an extra ticket - my brother and I flipped a coin and I won. He ran for over 200 yds in a snowstorm that game. Without that game he prob doesn't break 2000 or maybe even the record the last week. I remember the day after he broke the record my friend and I saving the newspaper. If you are not of that age you can't imagine what an absolute hero OJ was to all of us who were kids then
  15. Brilliant. The replies 😂 For such an open and shut obvious case of Russian collusion there doesn't seem to be much consensus on where it all began.
  16. A couple thoughts... IIRC, the injuries last year were as long if not longer during the start of TC. The staff is historically VERY cautious. This team is deeper than last years' but I still expect Rasul Douglas will be considered if Maxwell is indeed out for a long period of time, it make sense for depth, even though I think he's toast. I am however concerned that Tre will be able to sustain his level of performance for 17-19 games. He hasn't done that it in a while.
  17. That’s an odd situation. As Billstime he/she/they had 642 posts in the Lincoln Project thread. As Homelander he has zero. An interesting thing. Kind of.
  18. But that’s the entire point on why asset allocation matters. We can’t just say, they used 6 picks on skill players in the 1st 3 rounds. 3 RBs, 2 TEs and 1 WR is NOT the mix that you want from a roster building perspective. You need to use prime draft assets on the most expensive positions BECAUSE of cost control. You can sign guys at S, RB, TE, LB and OG that can start and help inexpensively. As an example, Josh Palmer’s AAV would make him the 8th highest paid RB in football. As a WR, it’s 32. If you draft a WR in the top 3 rounds you don’t need to spend $10M AAV on a role player like Palmer. You can allocate the same $10M to a top 10 LG or something like that. You can make your roster better at the top.
  19. No separate thread to discuss his injury & subsequent updates?
  20. NFL players aren’t built like regular people. Their pain thresholds are off the charts. Most of us here would feel like we should be put in traction after just one play in an actual NFL game. I know I would.
  21. beat me by 7 hours !
