  1. Past hour
  2. I already debunked the "encouraging political violence" fallacy. You want to talk encouraging political violence, tell me about the the summer of 2020, which lasted for months, not one afternoon, and had long-lasting effects. You have no moral high ground here. As for "authoritarian tendencies," give me a break. Having an Admin that uses an all-too-willing press to help them lie to the people (most notably about the mental decline of the President, begging the question "who was actually running the country?") and who uses them and social media to silence dissent is pretty authoritarian. Again there's no moral high ground for you here. Then add on the wacky policies espoused by the left. The lowering of standards. Trying to appease our enemies and/or showing little backbone.
  3. this will be seeing a show my daughter just saw here in San Diego recently First time I will see this band live. Not my wheelhouse
  4. greetings. I am woefully deficient in knowledge of music outside of my own wheelhouse. I grew up with classic rock on an FM car radio. And my turntable from about age 12. My first concert was J Geils band in Niagara falls circa 1973 when I hear new music I perk UP. I listen for it and I guess Im picky. I wont bemoan oh how the new music sucks. That's bulschite. Because you don;t know what you don't know! new to me is old hat to another person BRING IT 🙂 This is a band my daughter is obsessed with and has seen many times live. Her style Oh My gosh. Her tastes can get dark she LOVES Marilyn Manson LOL see? Vive le difference! Carpe diem birthday massacre
  5. I’d heard of them a number of years ago, but didn’t think they were still in existence. Probably could use them nowadays
  6. They do seem a likeable bunch, but someone needs to teach these boys how to eat a wing. Flats for sure, but they are not twisting and breaking the wing then sucking off each side. Someone needs to give these guys a tutorial.
  7. Hans from Diehard? I know Ridge, Hans and Franz from SNL. I just read Hans and automatically thought about Diehard. Now give me my detonators.
  8. Are you sure it wasn’t just filmed in the southwest somewhere?
  9. Funny, I was thinking this week I can’t believe how long PTI has been on the air. ATH crossed my mind as well, although didn’t realize it’d been 22 years for that show too.
  10. Today
  11. I’d love to say yes, but I pleasantly at times have loved my Bills since the 70’s. I grew up on South Park Ave. in Hamburg, and went to St. Francis. I’d say my earliest memories of the Bills was OJ as born at the end of 67 (turkey baby).
  12. Is this the first Punk Song? James Brown, 1966 B side to don’t be a drop out
  13. I’ll admit to becoming a Bills fan during the Jack Kemp era in War Memorial Stadium.
  14. I always thought PTI carried Around The Horn since its inception even before alternative/social media gave it more competition. I do give the show credit for trying to combine a debate show and game show into one which was unique. However, there was too much stimuli at once for my taste with the point system, the time limit, the elimination, and the revolving panelists. I'm very curious to how they're going to replace that time slot.
  15. If Brock Griner is a woman, then I’m the cream filling in a Jennifer Lawrence/Shakira sandwich.
  16. Loved watching KAT sitting on the bench in crunch time. Can’t stand that guy. Brunson is such a special player. Other than the Dream and Kobe, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player with such advanced footlworl. But that 2nd to last 3 he took for 29 feet out was just a stupid shot. It’s like he thought the pacers were going to foul him and he rushed it
  17. John Brown and Robert Foster disagree
  18. Maryland "blue laws" restricted business operations on Sundays. Even baseball and football had to wait until 2:05 to start. Of course, that's so long ago Baltimore was still in our division. I wonder how many people got arrested at that home Miami game on Monday night?
  19. i think it was something to with Maryland laws on Sunday. Orioles always had late starts too
  20. The long bomb is just not his strong suit. He hits one every now and then. But more often than not, he just misses over or under. He can throw it a mile, but he's never really gotten down being able to throw it long accurately with any sort of regularity. Luckily, he makes up for that by being an absolute beast in practically every other facet of his game. It's not dialed up often by Brady because of that fact. They're low percentage throws.
  21. It became very low success rate when they changed the rule eliminating overloading one side. I'm fine with allowing it to be declared in the 3rd quarter. That won't change player safety. I just don't see the need to make it a more successful play. It should be a desperation play with low success rate. With all that said I hate the new kickoff rules anyways. I would go back to the way it was. In that format you could do a surprise insides kick anytime you want.
  22. "This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus." I guess I read it wrong or maybe she should've been more clear as there's too much ambiguity in that wording. Is she directly accusing the president and higher ups of Harvard for knowingly being in cahoots with China by knowingly letting their Chinese exchange students steal intellectual IP for the CPP? If that's the case they better have some solid evidence. It can also be interpreted (and I guess this is where I'm at now) that Harvard doesn't do enough to police the Intellectual IP theft in their research labs. If that's the case, just say that. My guess is this will get shot down in the Federal courts pretty quickly.
  23. The last song I posted from "The Lightning Seeds" got a couple likes so here's another one from them.
