  1. Past hour
  2. Better against the run and setting the edge than Epenesa
  3. We went through the same situation Aug,2024. Augustus (Gus) our Basset Hound was 11 years old. It was one of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make. The sadness is difficult and definitely comes in waves. Just remember the good times you had with her and she had with you. They're only here for a short time. Which reminds me of a poem.... "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay for as long as we do" It gets easier but sometimes for no reason out of the blue you'll think of her. Just smile and be glad she was in your life. Hell, I just teared up last week thinking about Gus. Not sure if you've ever read the Rainbow Bridge Poem.. https://vet.uga.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/The-Rainbow-Bridge-Poem-Hand-Out.pdf
  4. You might even say Greg Rousseau is sneaky good.
  5. He’s a good edge setter but eventually you want them to grow into guys who can get to the QB.
  6. Here's how the game is played: Democratic judge rules for Democrats in unprecedented, activist way: Media celebrates rule of law from obviously impartial judge protecting justice Panel of Republican-majority judges overturn, and restore previous norm universally accepted until like 2 minutes ago: Media questions if rule of law has been corrupted by REPUBLICAN!!! judges who obviously are motivated by politics and bowing to Trump Every time. Forever.
  7. Sure dude you and the other 20 somethings can worship your murdering hero.
  8. This team far too often this year has acted like they are distracted, think they don't have to put in the work from Monday-Saturday for Sunday and can just walk into places and win without their best stuff. Used to work when the D was competent and generating tons of turnovers. Not so much when the O is the one generating the turnovers and the D isn't getting them.
  9. 5 days ago I watched him make two splash plays in the 4th qrtr that forced punts and literally gave the Bills a chance to win the game. But because they weren't on your stat sheet, you disregard them.
  10. Fer chrissakes, we've got one out for the year with a torn Achilles, one out for the year with torn knee ligaments and one playing with a 6lb club on his hand. Wtaf is the matter with you?
  11. You just need some of them new McD eyeglasses
  12. We got assume that Morgan Fox is more ready to play versus Shaq Lawson and that he would be above him on the depth chart?! Going to be week 13 in the NFL and we are debating practice squad DE A versus practice squad DE B (sigh, lol) with a chance both might play on Sunday.
  13. not if Bean is picking!
  14. You'll be lonely in this take. TBD went into a full-on meltdown on Sunday afternoon after the Chiefs and Pats won and George Pickins made play after play. We even had a thread that wanted to make Beane and McDermott stand in the corner and really think about how they have disappointed all of us.
  15. I think that if we are looking for a “silver lining” it’s that the NFC looks tougher than the AFC for the first time in a long time. The Bills obviously have underachieved to this point. They have not played well. If they get hot though and go on a run, they can win at NE, Den, Indy, etc… This might be a year, like the Rams last title, where someone got hot at the right time.
  16. This team needs to get sacks from somewhere right? Actually putting an offense in a long situation is meaningful in this game? A sack itself is one of the biggest negative EPA events an offense has short of a holding call or turnover. He is not a bad player, I'm not suggesting that. But he will be the highest paid DE on this team for the foreseeable future and is representative of how this team invests as a whole. We won't get splash plays, sacks, and turnovers from his contributions. We will get sound football. I think it's fair to ask more for the investment.
  17. It's irritating to me because I feel many of the Bills issues are within their control and of their own making AS THEY ARE CONSTRUCTED.
  18. Why do we have coaches then? I get you are looking for silver lining, but this is just insane to me. He played 7 games in 2023 for us, had 1 sack and 7 tackles. But he did his required stop in Carolina for one game last year and now hes back. The FO and coaching staff are unable or unwilling to find new talent. Its why this team will fail again. I've defended this FO and coaching staff for years, but this is just malpractice and embarrassing. There is no one else? No young talent hungry for an opportunity? No one you scouted or could sign from a PS? Nope, need that rotational guy from 3 years ago who wasn't good then. I cannot hate this move more
  19. DE is one of the few positions we’ve stayed healthy.
  20. Well there is that then if some of the players that got those extentions would play up to those extensions it wouldn't be as bad but it's like after they gave them the extensions someone in the Bills organization also sent out how to stop them from being productive it's crazy how they have just not performed .
  21. It's literally injuries We aren't in this position because we cut a bunch of players that couldn't hack it, we're running out of bodies due to injury I don't know why this is so hard for folks to process
  22. Well, our game on Thursday was pretty depressing. But it gave us the chance to watch some relatively stress-free games on Sunday and Monday night. And I have to say... I came away feeling a little better. There is NO dominant team in the NFL this year, no team that I feel we couldn't beat on our day. Every contender who played showed major limitations or looked vulnerable, with one exception--the Rams. But if we play the Rams it means we made it to the Super Bowl. If we get some guys back (Kincaid, Oliver, Brown) by January, we could go on a run. I would love for the Pats to get the number one seed and then get knocked off immediately by us or the Chiefs. Watching them struggle against Flacco and the Bengals sure didn't scare me. And they're getting banged up, too. Now, of course, the Bills would have to improve a lot to make a run this year, for sure... but if they can put it together there's no team that it looks impossible for them to beat.
  23. It's not about who is available; it's about being in this position with all the draft capital and cap space we've committed, yet having little to show for it.
  24. So despite the fact that he's beating people up on the regular, Greg Rousseau is a problem because 2 years from now the Bills might want to restructure his contract? Good grief man, talk about borrowing trouble..... If you question whether Greg Rousseau is making an impact, you're not paying attention.
