  1. Past hour
  2. I don't think Defense is being scapegoated. Offense is getting the lions share of the blame for only mustering one TD in the 1st quarter. There seemed to be no coherent game strategy for facing the Texans top D on limited rest. O and D were out sync
  3. Did they have mics in their helmets back then? The K-Gun was so successful because it was up-tempo, but they can do that now without having the QB call the plays. The QB instead gets to audible out of plays based on his read of the D But I agree, it would be fun to see, even if it will never happen
  4. Definitely weak imo. Compared to the top teams in the NFC. Any team facing Eagles/Rams could be 5 point underdogs. Silver lining: Coleman will/should be back in the lineup soon.
  5. I'd settle for Josh being able to identify a pressure
  6. I don't think Beane has the authority to fire McDermott. I think the organizational structure puts them on equal footing. If changes are to be made, Pegula will have to make them. If you follow the Sabres, you know that's not likely.
  7. 28/66 plays Allen was hurried, pressured and sacked! THAT’S FORTY TWO PERCENT OF THE OFFENSIVE PLAYS ONE OF THE GREATEST PLAYERS IN BILLS/ NFL HISTORY WAS SCRAMBLING FOR HIS LIFE… LOOKING FOR ONE GD OPEN RECEIVER! If you don’t think things have gone completely to hell and are still of the mind, that some minor tinkering is all that’s necessary to right this Titanic, read that again… 10x.
  8. I think a Josh Allen called offense would make McDermott's head explode before halftime.
  9. We had moments back in our days that spread by word of mouth, subject to interpretation. For many years these young kids & teens have to endure videos via YT, Snap, Insta whatever. Brutal! Not to be the guy on the porch, but AI is the next frontier of teen trouble & personal violation of many people, young or old.
  10. Totally agreed, there has to be reasons why it doesn't happen today. But it just feels right for this team right now. Mainly because playcalling could sure use a shot in the arm and this might be the thing.
  11. Josh Allen got up after many were thinking he was badly hurt....and we have this mini-bye to try to get right for the final stretch. Go Bills!
  12. Honestly, I have zero knowledge or experience with that media landscape. I'm too adhd to listen to a podcast I can't respond to. But it's good to hear that other folks who are more knowledgeable and devoting the time are seeing the same stuff we are on gameday.
  13. Ty Johnson is pumped https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/bills-rb-ty-johnson-fined-pelvic-thrust-td-celebration-win-over-bucs-230747557.html
  14. Which ILLEGAL ORDERS are you most upset about?
  15. Jordan Phillips and Jordan Poyer are on the active roster in 2025. That's all you need to know.
  16. Just rewatched the game. (Painful). Dawkins got checked for an injury just prior to the play in question. I agree he's not been as good. But I don't know about blowing him up on a play when he just came in from an injury.
  17. unfortunately this year's schedule is the easiest in years
  18. It's not 1993 anymore and offenses are infinitely more complicated than they used to be. QB's have more on their plates than they've ever had in their lives. I think asking them to be ready to have the right play ready 5 seconds after they've just processed the last play is just too much to ask in this era. Giving them an extra option coming to the line is about the most you should ask of them at this point, imo.
  19. I know the entire NFL influencer community can be a bit much week to week. It's an industry in itself.... But it's also good stuff when I have 4 hours of yard work to do. Anyway... while listening to all these weekly prep podcasts for each game one thing that has been crystal clear to me this year is how often the Bills seem to be completely unprepared for their specific opponent. While they were praised for their gameplan vs KC, that should certainly not be a once in 8-10 weeks kind of thing... And like I've commented here recently, in the games they have lost where they were big favorites, they got killed by the other teams best players. Diggs, Robinson, London, Achane, Waddle, Hunter, and Anderson... Heck anyone who plays Fantasy Football understands your game plans have to be focused around limiting those players because they are capable of ruining your game. I don't know... Just feels like we are WAY behind at OBD...
  20. It wasn’t over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor
  21. He's one of my best friends lol
  22. Future HOF as well.
  23. While Josh Allen changes some plays at the line, it is time for him to call all of the plays, much like Jim Kelly did. It seems obvious that some of his frustration is directed at results of a called play when it fails and letting him take the wheel would get rid of that distraction. Regardless of the fact that this is non- existent in the current NFL, there has to be a lot of range as to the frequency of audibles among the QBs. Some do quite a bit, some not that much. Advantages if JA Calls all the plays: Josh has a feel for the flow of the game and what works and doesn't work with the 11 on the field at the time. The frustration from calls he disagrees with would be eliminated. Joe Brady can focus on developing a game plan for the opponent and sideline management. His standing as a team leader would be reinforced. He knows this team better than anyone. He would be super motivated and a motivated JA is a wonerful thing to see. He has earned it.
  24. It probably all started on social media and spiraled out of control because too many of these kids have lost the ability (or opportunity) to handle conflict and adversity. And I bet that was the end of it and it never happened again. 👍
