  1. Past hour
  2. No style points on a short week. Just get the Dub, the mini bye and come back raring to go.
  3. This comment will go over fine after a loss not after a win and while we are hopeful for another one tonight. You have to pick your spots when it comes to "negative" critique.
  4. Oh Indeed it does...
  5. The winner of the AFC North could very well be 9-8 After this week vs the Jets and Steelers vs the Bears, if the Bengals can beat the Pats, you could have both BAL & PIT at 6-5 with the Bengals at 4-7. Bengals have split against the Steelers and have 2 left against the Ravens. Steelers final stretch after the Bears have the Bills, Ravens twice and the Lions. Browns and Dolphins in addition. Ravens after this week. Steelers twice. Bengals twice. Pats and Packers.
  6. I think his "ceiling" is that of a Pro-Bowl caliber safety, he's got the athleticism and he's showing a better feel for the game and for the system the more he plays esp the more he plays with Po. Overall I think he's going to be a very good borderline elite player if he stays healthy. And thankfully the team needs that production from him and they need to get more production from that 2024 draft class in general.
  7. Finally the discussion is being had
  8. The Bengals have the 32nd-ranked defense, and the Steelers and Ravens are not far behind at 16 points allowed, 28th in yards allowed. with Balt at 23rd, 26th. I just don't see a big threat from any team in the AFC North this year.
  9. I agree with you that (what I perceive as) Beane's late 1st round draft strategy (go for high ceiling guys who need development) is problematic.
  10. Typical car loan is now 69 months. What it should be is still your opinion. please explain how stealing tax dollars doesn't change our lives?
  11. Hochul’s colossal $113M gift to far-left groups shows she’s just ‘another Defund the Police Democrat’ by Miranda Divine Gov. Hochul has spent $66 million of taxpayer money on grants to radical left-wing groups that conduct overt political operations to defund the police, close prisons, abolish ICE, decriminalize prostitution, promote open borders, target minors with transgender ideology, promote anti-Israel extremism, impose crippling climate mandates on new housing — and increase taxation to pay for it all. An examination of 13,000 grants since Hochul took office in 2021 shows a massive investment in far-left causes, with $66 million paid so far and almost $50 million promised for a total contract value of $113 million. “Our tax dollars should go towards fighting criminals, not helping them,” says Rep. Elise Stefanik, https://nypost.com/2025/11/19/opinion/miranda-devine-hochuls-colossal-113m-gift-to-far-left-groups-shows-shes-just-another-defund-the-police-dem/
  12. Come on boys, let's levitate the ball down the field
  13. Coleman is mostly terrible in those spots save for a few times. But the exception doesn't make the rule. Not only is he bad at getting in position to fight for those balls, he is terrible at drawing flags while doing so which is the other reason they are going to him.
  14. BUFFALO -- 16 HOUSTON - 11 Another awful Thursday Night Football game should be on tap tonight, at least Buffalo should win against a backup QB and a less than stellar run game. I'm still of the opinion that games on Thursday's don't give players enough time to recoup from the previous game, nor does it give coaches enough time to game plan or practice for your opponent. I'm going to guess injuries happen at a greater rate on Thursday because of that.
  15. Unless there is someone you are very certain is going to be a long term starter available when picking, I think the modern NFL salary cap structure requires taking someone who can do something immediately. For example, Worthy was fast and can catch a football. Also small and not likely to last much longer than a first contract. Using any first first round or second round pick to select a young "development project." is not the correct strategy in my opinion. Drafting guys who are going be NFL ready just in time for their second contract seems to also lead to the next problem "lets overpay this guy, because we didn't get enough out of him before, but if he plays well next, it will somehow justify the previous wasted years"
  16. if bishop ends up being half as elite as this post he'll be in the HOF, a real queen on the field. No Wilkins.
  17. I mean did people expect us to draft Coleman and then for it to come out that "Allen DID NOT WANT him"?
  18. for him to even ask that question is just absurd. there are some on here that truly lack any critical thinking.
  19. Must be loafing around the practice field again I hate that..
  20. Agreed. In fact I prefer that every team we face be the easiest matchup possible and have a slight cold. The SB banner will make no mention of it.
  21. I don't know if it's an "internet lie", but it was definitely PR. Like Allen was watching college ball or maybe some scouting film and he saw some Coleman highlight catches and said "that would be nice to have on the team" so then after the draft it becomes the Grease song "You're the one that I want...ooh ooh ooh honey!"
  22. Yep, Leslie had the #1 and #2 ranked defenses in his last two years and people were calling for his head. No surprise Seattle has a good D now.
