I honestly think he's just burned out from constantly coming up short against the Chiefs in the playoffs, and failing to bring the fan base a championship. I think his talk in the off-season about having no expectations is his way of trying to manage that disappointment and stress. Part of me also wonders if he hasn't been hurt and had his bell wrong more than we realize as fans. I went up to a game from Florida and my one and only buddy who stayed in WNY drove me to the game. I got a seat with the sun at my back, I was coming from Florida. He’s with a group who have had season tix forever, and he said their 40-45 yard line seats are in the sun on purpose. Every little bit helps, he says. He also sits in lawn chairs in the driveway because that is the sunny side of the house. My wife understood my childhood better after this most recent trip. It might explain some stuff. 🤷‍♂️ Yes, to each their own, but I don’t love the sun in my eyes. I don’t want to have to wear a hat the whole time to see anything. EDIT: If you want to talk hot, I don’t recommend day games in Florida before Halloween. Yikes! I’d turn down free tickets. There was a reason they were free.
