  1. Past hour
  2. We got our ass kicked. No excuses.
  3. Three games this Thursday, beginning earlier in the day.
  4. Not one to excuse poor performances, but we do have a top notch O line and yet Texans shredded them. It does strike me that some of our O lineman are getting up there in age, and these Thursday night games are tough on older players. And Brown was hurt. In any event, on O or D it was the older players who struggled the most. Especially against a younger Texan team playing at home. With all the negativity re: Bills, can’t be.ieve this wasn’t a factor. THURSDAY NIGHT football speaks volumes of the insatiable greed of NFL owners, most of whom have already made billions in franchise appreciation. Never enough for some, especially with JERRY JONES leading the greed charge
  5. It’s also shocking when the benefit of having 4-5 geezers on the team that “know the system” still are having a ton of confusion out there. That’s supposed to be the one clear benefit.
  6. Sugar high Josh, IMO, is the only way to the SB this year. IMHO.
  7. I didn’t mean to imply you did either, but I do recall us having an argument on where Shakir maxes out on the efficiency/volume curve, and I was of the opinion that 2024 was the ceiling.
  8. Keon Coleman is quickly distroying a promising NFL career. He is known today as a coach killer. 20 years from now he will realize his mistake but the money will be gone. Just add him to the list of players that failed because of a immature lazy attitude with no work ethic.
  9. Loved seeing him talk about how much he loves football. Really cheered me up to see that he’s not in the doldrums. He even said he loves feeling beat up after a loss like in Houston. Guy is an all-time fighter. And doing this over the mini bye will give him a nice boost of positive energy.
  10. An instant Classic of a post! POTW
  11. I think her adherence to the America First agenda has exposed Trump's betrayal of that movement and she simply can't support him further. Whatever her plans, his attacks on her expose him as a fool and weakling. I think this event marks the peak for Trump, not MTG. His agenda and actions are way off course from his pledges. Expect more defections. Chaos to follow.
  12. Agree 100%. He has quietly lost a degree of suddenness. He gets caught now. That never used to happen. I think that is to be expected as 30 rolls into view. I've been noticing this all year. Sobering, but he has to learn to play a bit differently going forward.
  13. Van Pelts best offense was 14th. Most recently he was 30th. Pass on Reich as well.
  14. Today
  15. First two on that list will be the re-branded MSNBC and CNN. We both know that. Regarding cashing in - is there a better place to do that than Congress? Reports are that her net worth grew from 700k to 25M during her stay. Financial wizardry?
  16. Butler is at Nebraska doing the same thing he did to the Bills secondary. Should have made him the bills DC over Babich. The secondary hasn’t been the same since he left.
  17. With Josh and Cook on offense you should be putting up points at least every other drive. But calling a deep handoff to a gassed out cook on 4th and 1 is the opposite of your strengths
  18. And as previously pointed out, this is against their backup QB. And a bang average OL. Nah, Josh got to do it all.
  19. almost. he was fiery and led the team
  20. Another name for OC, Cameron Turner. Turner is the son of longtime NFL offensive coach Ron Turner and the nephew of longtime NFL offensive coach, Norv Turner. Cam Turner is the Colts' current QB Coach under Head Coach Shane Steichen and played QB collegiately at The Citadel. He also played wide receiver. After graduating, he began his coaching career at The Citadel in 2010, working with wide receivers and special teams. In the NFL he's coached with the Cardinals, the Vikings, and finally with the Cardinals where he was hired by Steve Wilks and then retained by new Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury as Assistant Quarterbacks Coach. In 2021 Turner was promoted to the Cardinals' quarterbacks coach, replacing Tom Clements, who announced his retirement from coaching. In 2022, Turner was promoted to the Cardinals' co–passing game coordinator along with Spencer Whipple. Turner is 38 years old.
  21. Wouldn’t it be nice to maybe have our defense force a TO or 2 in Houston’s territory? Just a bridge too far to ask the defense to meaningfully impact the game on a day the offense is struggling against the best defense in football.
  22. Cratered fast? The Giants are similar to the Bills in a sense. Massive resources allocated to a defense that struggles to get the job done and puts the offense in a hole. On top of that they had a game changing WR lost for the season, injuries to their OL, a RB who was a problem lost to a broken foot and a QB who looks to show real potential seemingly unwilling to protect himself once he’s already picked up the yards needed to move the chains. Not advocating to bring Dab back but I think he got the wrong end of the deal there. Especially when the guy making the moves and deals is still there in Beane Jr. the fact he still got a pass after letting Saquon walk to a division rival after the guy was more than willing to stay in a seemingly inept and stagnant team says enough. I understand the sentiment and Dab should shoulder some of the blame but putting all of it on him is a bit unjust.
  23. Ah I see what caused my confusion. Apologies.
  24. Id take a chance at it is possible. If his head is on correctly and he’s healthy, the guy is a reasonable addition to any team struggling at the position. Which we are. Not the biggest fan of Aiyuk but it would be an improvement if the first couple of points married the acquisition. I like the Tempo of your post. Make the call!
  25. This is where I'm at. As frustrating as this season has been they absolutely have an incredible chance to get to the super bowl with the state of where the AFC is right now. If anything going in as a road wildcard would take a lot of pressure off.... There is no excuse to not get in. I'm exactly where you are at. And if they get in, I'm actually optimistic a little. Joke is on Tampa then lol
  26. Theyre disappointing on a lot of fronts in the defense but you can have a stud corner and plays can still be made. One dominant guy on the line can help the rest of his positional group out as well as the back end… I’d take a quality edge player or DT and average to mediocre DB’s than I would a stud CB if Benford fit that bill. That’s not to say they wouldn’t make a difference but rather, again, a game wrecker up front makes a bigger difference. Also to boot, you’re absolutely right that Benford is inexcusable as much as Rousseau in terms of $ to product. I like Ed and think he’s a vital missing piece to our problems, the guy can’t be paid that much and be missing to injury or a disappearing act. Big problems all around for big $. Hopefully they can get back to what earned them those contracts.
