  1. Past hour
  2. He had a period where he was productive but that was a few yeats ago. Beaner and McClappy are desperate.
  3. Darn it. Us beating the Texans this week would help clear the path for Kansas City and Baltimore providing they both win.
  4. Another tough game for the Bills But they pull out a 32--22 victory over the Texans for their 3rd scorigami of the season.
  5. The Chiefs look tired to me. They have played more games than anyone the last 3 years. They get everyone's best shot and Mahomes specifically is playing poorly. They aren't getting the breaks they used to either. I won't count them out, but they have zero margin for error going forward
  6. If he becomes a star in his next step, I hope it’s a Wyatt Teller situation. I know Teller is in the AFC, but he went somewhere that would never be real competition. If Coleman becomes a good player I hope that he does it in a Saints jersey or something g like that.
  7. McDermott can be justifiably criticized for a good number of things. Justifiably so. Not being thorough and being blind to things like Hardman's fumble struggles is not one of them. And yes, the Chiefs let him go. Then they traded to bring him back at one point last year. Then they let him go again because unlike the Bills, they were successful in upgrading their WR room. That doesn't change the fact they won multiple Super Bowls with him on the roster. One of which he was a VERY key player in winning.
  8. Is it not possible that this very connected guy, who maybe represents some very influential groups around the world, was a pto, at inserting himself into political circles, campaigns, issues through his relationships and power. That when he did that people knew him to be a power broker, that they shouldn't reject his influence, that he name dropped, and yet they may not be aware of the other side of his life. Lots of people were in the circle of Larry Summers, yet not know about his secret life. You cannot condemn every person that had contact.
  9. Only annotation to this is the vocals need to be Auto-Tune. Also qualifies for this week's 'DC Tom Award', and is automatically entered for the yearly version. It's an odds on favourite for that position. 😁
  10. No trading to the Chiefs or Pats. Ship him to the NFC for Dairy Queen punch card.
  11. Some of my thoughts: This was a game where we really missed Ed Oliver. There was almost no disruption up the middle and it would’ve helped on some of those long third down conversions. The Bills were helped by Bowles doing Bowles things - the bad challenges and poor clock management Jets fans know all too well, plus not going for it on that 4th and 2 (come on we were all feeling like they would’ve converted it). The Bucs are talented and scrappy but Bowles is an odd gameday manager. I am hard on Beane but you can see glimpses that the plan for this year could’ve worked. When you squint your imagination a bit there is a world in which the defense got an infusion of young and faster talent from the draft, younger vets like Dorian, Dewayne and Cole improved, and older vets like Bernard, Benford, Rapp and Milano didn’t fall off cliffs in the same season. And on offense if Keon was a professional who was doing more than the bare minimum to hone his craft, Palmer and Kincaid were healthy, etc., it could’ve worked. And I suppose it still can work - a lot needs to go right including getting through some tough road games without anymore major injuries - but it is not impossible. Gabe catching that 4th down pass on the first drive felt like a potentially season-altering fork in the road. Josh’s confidence in the entire system seemed to grow throughout the game starting at that moment. Can you imagine if it had clunked off of his hands? Watching Miles Garrett get like five sacks for a losing Cleveland team - Beane should go all in trying to pry him away this offseason. He would be the missing piece on d.
  12. What if the Chiefs offered a 6th or 7th round pick for him. Would that make you nervous about what might come to be down the road? Did anyone want to get rid of Bishop at any point in time? It’s not time to do a deal now, so I’ll wait and see what happens before making any premature decisions. .
  13. I'd prefer Keon never see the field for the Bills again, especially at X or Z. The issue the Bills have is it has to be a trade to recoup any money on his contract. Even a post June 1st cut will cost them 3 million on the cap for next year. I've said it in the past. I am fine with the Bills being patient with young players where talent hasnt translated to on the field success as long as that player is doing everything in their power to be great. If the talent isnt translating and that player is also a bum off the field, fail fast and cut ties. It's the difference between someone like Keon and Kaiir Elam. Elam got the benefit of the doubt because he was working his tail off. From all accounts Keon is a good kid. Great. The Bills arent paying him to be funny and affable. They are paying him to be a professional wide receiver. What he fails to understand is that by not being professional he is putting people's jobs in jeopardy. It's selfish and disrespectful to every person in the organization. Like Jerry Glanville said, the NFL stands for Not For Long. Coach JB can be a giant moron, but he also has some pretty common sense takes. This is one of them. NSFW because of language.
  14. KC let him go to the Jets, he was with GB, he didn’t stick and it’s not only fumbles it’s bad decisions. We’ll see! Beaner & McD the dynamic due “are aware he puts the ball on the deck” that’s too funny. Our wideout room is a disaster.
  15. Bringing the baby birds here from Alaska in the late 70's and early 80's was a process called "hacking" and my best friend lived directly across the road from one of the major sites they had set up for this process at the Oak Orchard Wildlife Preserve on Albion Rd in Oakfield (just north of Batavia). Myself and my wife along with my buddy and his fiance spent a LOT of time over there watching the youngins growing up and we were there when they released all of them except for two while we were out of town. It was quite a process and I remember the first one that flew out of the cage landed on one of the posts supporting the cages while a red tail hawk was perched on the post right next to it... I was amazed at how much bigger that baby eagle was than the full grown hawk standing about 8 feet away from him! It's been an awful long time but if I remember correctly they released 14 of them from that particular site. Over the years I've seen a few flying around in that area while traveling through there and I have another friend that lives a couple miles from Oak Orchard that sees one sitting in the trees on the edge of his woods regularly.
  16. Hardman is the type of player that can be frustrating but also help you win an AFC championship because of his speed. Keep throwing him deep passes!
  17. I have a feeling Josh is going to be extra dialed in for this one.
  18. Unless he lights it up consistently its time to cut bait if we can find a trading partner. If not he is at best a 4th WR, but not a full time starter We gave him 2 full seasons with no consistent growth and very little big body contested catch success.
  19. Houston was a long 3rd down sideline completion away from being in big trouble against Tennessee. There’s no excuses. I know their defense is good and I’m the guy that literally cries about our defense 24/7….we are significantly better. Take it seriously and kill them. No excuses
  20. This is the bizarre thing about McD, he takes over the defensive playcalling when things get bad for his DCs, sometimes it works and sometimes its its takes a while but eventually works then other times its embarrassing. This seems to happen with regularity so what is the point of Babich exactly? If he is so incapable that helicopter dad McD has to take over for him then why is he the DC?. Maybe we should get a seasoned proven DC in here and revamp this defense? Someone better than Babich and McD?
  21. I thought WR2 was his absolute ceiling coming out of the draft. I am now pretty sure that is a ceiling he isn't reaching. He is at best a big slot. But the chances he totally busts out of the league are now pretty high.
  22. Tougher game. I dont think this is an unleash Allen game. Texans have a formidable pass rush. I think the Bills defense comes out inspired. 24-13 Buffalo Bills
  23. Organizations like the jets and raiders exist. Never underestimate the stupidity of other people
  24. For the first time this season, I do think it's slightly possible they miss. Am I expecting it to happen? Absolutely not. There are still too many games left for the teams in front to blow it. Jacksonville is basically 1.5 games ahead with 7 left. Not exactly a lead I would trust them with. Los Angeles is about the same, and still has to play them again. The Chiefs makeup a lot of ground with a win there.
  25. In the Jags game, one of the Jag's TD's was a punt return, so that's not on the defense. Texans under Mills scored 26 points in the last 12 minutes to beat the Jags [last TD was the Lawrence fumble followed by the scoop and score]. With our defense, no lead is safe.
