  2. this thread is More reason never to listen to anyone from west texas on anything.
  3. I’ve worked on a sort of Ponce de Leon approach to sports, view them as I did as kid, trying to not let the outliers suck the enjoyment out of them. Corny?…..sure. Got something better?
  4. Kincaid was drafted because 4 WRs went in the 5 picks before the Bills selected. JSN, Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, Quentin Johnston.
  5. Like I said earlier, I am wondering if Allen is injured. His throwing motion looks... pained? Not sure how to say it. I'd consider letting him sit for a game to heal up because the way he's getting the crap beat out of him a small injury could turn into a big one, quick. And truthfully, given Brady's offensive scheme, MT can throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage with the occasional sideline fade to coleman as well as allen. Not like we're a QB-centric offense
  6. I see this perspective for sure. But I also see Beane not adding anyone at the trade deadline as possibly being an admission that he knows we have no chance this year. I'm not saying this because we didn't add the most expensive pieces but because we added nothing. And the Pats will likely be better next year. Maybe they fall off a cliff this year. It's not very likely imo.
  7. I am watching it too and I only have really seen that on the first two drives. the first play of the game on offense he had guys short and scrambled and threw it away, the second play he had coleman on a crosser and threw it to cook for 7 yards. maybe he did more later in the game
  8. You’re probably going to B word and moan whatever he does. So your opinion means very little.
  9. I don’t think we are supposed to be people of reason today. Good thought, so maybe we can get back to this next week……. if we win. Otherwise it will be more of the same.
  10. I missed the game because of a gig. I also missed the Atlanta game because I was traveling. They're the first two games I've missed since the radio blackout days. Loss is on me boys.
  11. I was of the same opinion, but my last three events this year have all been bought through stub hub. I found a better selection and cheaper seats on Stubhub. I just check them all now
  12. Did you see Baker Mayfield's comments? He said the bucs were flat and do not have a killer instinct. The exact thing by association dawkins and allen said yesterday....you know why? cuz they lost. i think they will play really well at home next sunday, the issue is going to be who is playing on defense.
  13. Gregg

    Stale

To quote former Houston Oilers HC Bum Phillips. " There are two kinds of coaches, them that have been fired and them that will be fired".
  14. Not to mention his new contract just started this year so if he quit after 2026 he'd have a ton of bonus money to pay back. We definitely have him through the new contract which goes through 2030. Now, after that... he'll have earned over HALF A BILLION in football alone, probably the same amount in endorsements and other business ventures, and I could absolutely see him riding off to be a farmer. So the clock is ticking on actually achieving something with the greatest player in Bills history.
  15. I’m not an All-22 guy and I’m genuinely curious to hear from posters who are whether we were running into a stacked box yesterday. For one example, what defense was Miami in on the first drive 3rd and one? It seemed Miami’s mindset coming in was to stop the run and challenge Josh Allen to beat them with his arm, which is kind of insane when you put in down on paper. I believe that going into the game, we were the only NFL team with more rushing attempts than passing attempts, which is also kind of crazy considering who’s playing QB for us. it also drives me nuts that we don’t have variations on certain formations. The announcers said it during the game. Gilliam’s in, it’s a run, Kincaid is in, it’s a pass. Why not play action when Gilliam is in? Same thing last year. No variation on the tush push. Always over the left guard. Cost us against KC. At this point, I’m hoping for some sort of change-up. Move Coleman to big slot and move Shakir outside. Stop throwing bubble screens. Something. Sorry this turned into a rant. Anyway, were we running into a heavy box against the Dolphins? If not, why was the running game so bad?
  16. Albert Breer on his podcast over summer that there are like 7-8 owners who legit want to win. The rest it is a toy or showing item etc.. win or loss they are in the club.
  17. I didn’t wear my JA shirt thinking it’s magical powers could afford to rest / recover for a stronger opponent. At halftime a furiously searched for it, only to discover it was in the laundry / dryer and still wet. Put it on damp to finish the game but to no avail. Very sorry guys, I also took the game / opponent too lightly.
  18. This has been the 2nd winningest team in all of pro sports in the last 6 years. I mean, sure, it would be nice to win a Championship and they SHOULD win a championship, but you could just as easily take a major step backwards as you could forwards by replacing two people that have been pretty freaking good overall in the grand scheme of things.
  19. This is what happens when you don't have trust in the system and/or WR's. I won't excuse it but it's not a panic, it's a lack of trust

A loss against the Bucs and maybe they'll start to lose the locker room.
  21. Spot on. There's a certain extra irony in that Beane spent his first summer here launching former Whaley draft picks and complaining about the cap situation he inherited.
  22. it’s probably been 15 years since I’ve purchased anything from StubHub. It was the most expensive outlet for so long I don’t go there anymore.
  23. Agreed. But you're being kind calling them average or mediocre. They out and out stink. Coleman should be the one benched.
  24. I am definitely hoping the return of Palmer and Gabe opens things up a little more, but having said that, it's not even an exaggeration to say Coleman could have had over 150 yards and 3 or 4 TDs if Josh could throw an accurate ball to him yesterday. Coleman had Miami beat deep for potential TDs at least 3 times yesterday and Josh was only able to give him a chance to make the catch once. Got open on the INT in the end zone too but Josh was reading the left side of the field so he never saw him. Was open several other times as well.
  25. Historically, the marginal tax rate on the highest earners is low. We are trillions in debt. Why lower it further? https://bradfordtaxinstitute.com/Free_Resources/Federal-Income-Tax-Rates.aspx
