  1. Past hour
  2. Open in the sense that if you have one of 3 or 4 particular QBs, yeah he’s open.
  3. I just like to let my eyes tell me everything I need to know about a performance on the field. I’m still treating my NFL viewing experience like it’s 1987, before we needed nerds with calculators to tell us who is better than who.
  4. Josh ......112.0 Lamar....144.4 Josh is passing against a secondary loaded with first round picks, whilst Lamar is picking on a combination of rookies/sophomores and athletically limited DB's. Lamar also has the benefit of a generational monster RB that allows him to pass in situations where the box is stacked. Josh also passes for 180 more yards and with a similar completion percentage. And yet - somehow Lamar has a substantially better passer rating. I don't get it.
  5. Completely agree....analytically it made no mathematical sense to go for 2 with the score 27-19? He took 3 Xpts off the board.
  6. When you play in a city as big as Denver owners can privately fund your team and get it back a lot sooner Ralph Wilson didn't pay for Ralph Wilson stadium either.. it's called a precedence
  7. Ever since I saw the Dodger fans in the parking lot on TV while Kirk Gibson was doing his epic home run trot, I've vowed never to leave early. The only exception was on a baseball trip in St. Louis where it started to rain like I need to build Noah's Ark, and I needed to drive after the game to KC. It rained so hard that the driving was difficult. But somehow the skies parted and the game resumed, went into extra innings, and I'm listening to it on the car radio. @Shaw66, I had no doubts about you staying. You're a stalwart!
  8. Why? Is there something wrong with Prater's pelvis?
  9. Today
  10. I am glad I live in the pacific time zone. When I was stationed in Georgia it always tripped me out how late the games were on sunday/Monday. Just used to living out west. I assume the folks doing the most shaming are children, retired, or have white collar jobs that don't start until after 9am (thats like sleeping in for people who actually make society run).
  11. Every week people here find a reason to have a "bad feeling about this game." They do but at least we got 1 weeks worth of tape of their new look offense and defense. We will be ok. Fields is no Lamar. I also don't think Pitts defense is the same standard as their defense of the past.
  12. I think the bigger Ravens mismanagement was on not using the full clock in the 4th. They were snapping with ten seconds left on several occasions. That’s certainly on LJ, but Harbaugh has to own that as well.
  13. I loved John Candy. Some great movies, like Stripes, Planes Trains etc. But my favorite role was as The Schmenge Brothers, where they introduce themselves, each pronouncing Schmenge in a different way. Subtle humor, but it really got me. Yosh and Stan - Rick Moranis the other Schmenge bro, IIRC. That was on SCTV, and then a final movie The Last Polka.
  14. If the Ravens called the timeout at 15 seconds, they could have Josh roll out to right, hold it as long as possible, then just chuck it out the back of the end zone. That would waste 8-10 seconds....the FG would waste another 5 seconds, so depending on how many seconds Josh could waste before throwing it away, the game would expire on the FG, or there would be 2-3 seconds left...only enough for a crazy lateral kickoff return play.
  15. I was shocked by how bad our LBers played. It was the one group I wasnt worried about. Yeah I noticed that during the game. Bernard was still turned towards other players making signals when the ball was snapped. It was smart coaching.
  16. Here we go again with peeps complaining about a dome, taxes and Pegula
  17. Remember on 1st down they had only 2 time outs left. Buffalo runs 3 plays then kick it. They could have just run it to 3 seconds snd spike the ball stopping the clock.
  18. Im not talking about odds. The Bills pulled the comeback for a few reasons. Coleman clutch TD catch off the tip ball. Allen is the best QB in football. Oliver with the clutch knockout and causing Henry fumble. Most of that just comes down to excellent football plays. For the Ravens to win the game with 10 seconds and no timeouts it would have to be a blessing from God. Barring a penalty, the Ravens would have 1 play to get in field goal range in 10 seconds and be fast enough to get to the line to spike the ball, assuming the refs even spot it in time. That is almost impossible. Even for Mahomes and the Chiefs. Even the 13 second game, they had and needed TOs. I know people want to make this a thing but it really isnt. The Bills had many options to counter Harbaugh not calling a TO or waiting till the clock ticked down.
  19. Yeah he's fitting right in. I'm kind of liking the flexibility we are getting in the pass game where I get the same selfless vibes of Everyone Eats but everyone is a little better and we have some more options to choose from.
  20. The Office was very well done, as Steve Carrell's character Michael Scott would seem impossible to replicate. I am sure psychology grad students could do a thesis on the complex dysfunctionalities in The Office. Of course, Dwight and Andy Bernard were nearly as f**ked up as Michael. I do not have Peacock, but I would not expect much from an Office wannabe. A shoutout here to our posters @Dr Krentist and the guy with the Prison Mike avatar.
  21. Epstein didn’t stumble into evil he was groomed by a world that runs on it. He learned from the best in the business.
  22. Unless @Virgil has stopped this is his topic.
  23. Yes, last year at Georgia Tech he had 16 receptions on 19 targets (84% catch percentage) for 195 yards (12.19 ypc). Low volume but those are good numbers.
  24. QBR way overrates rushing. That's always been a big flaw.
