  1. Past hour
  2. Oh, well I’m definitely a pragmatist and not an idealist. But perhaps I don’t fully understand the facets of this topic because I don’t understand why certain bargaining chips have been removed from the bargaining table. We need to find diplomatic off-ramps for both Putin and Zelenskyy, and so the more options the merrier. Why are war reparations off the table? How is Ukraine otherwise going to rebuild? A failed economic and political state over there would only be a breeding ground for additional international headaches. Why is NATO membership off the table? Finland and Sweden were allowed to join. We’re still going to agree to defend Ukraine in some way, anyway, after the war. It’s not like we have to position our nuclear missiles along Ukraine’s borders if they are allowed to join. Have we completely exhausted our options with multilateral economic sanctions on Russia?? I’ve addressed this question multiple times in multiple different ways, spanning multiple threads and multiple forums (here plus BillsFans.com). Anyone who justifies or still denies Israel’s apartheid ethnostate practices, war crimes of collective punishment, genocide in Gaza, and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is a garbage human being.
  3. Seeing the Hard Knocks cameras, he saw his chance to get an early start on his post-football acting career. He was showing his depth of emotions. It'll make a great demo reel.
  4. Rock Springs, then Colorado Springs. Via my start in Western Idaho.. Brother-in-law is a General, doing a 2-year Space force mission. I'd tell you more.... but it's top secret! 😃 Missoula, Kalispell and Glacier in October.
  5. This is how the starters played in 1984 and 85.
  6. You point to a wikipedia page that lists coaches based on championships. This is a very Nancy way of evaluating McDermott. You could just say he is part of the 0.0001% of the worlds population to never lead a team to a SB championship. You truly believe the likes of Brian Billick, Jimmy Conzeman , Buddy Parker, Joe Stydahar ( I could go on an on with this list) were better and are even relevant to have conversations to compare them? There are like 10 guys from the roaring 20's, LOL!
  7. When all the statistics bear out the fact that one segment of the population is particularly lawless, it is logical to focus your enforcement efforts there rather than on those who tend to follow the law. Which is the opposite of what Americans have dealt with for the last sixty years, something closer to this: ”Your punishment for having a knife when they searched you would be very different from the thief’s. For him to have a knife was mere misbehavior, tradition, he didn’t know any better. But for you to have one was ‘terrorism.’”
  8. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6558436/2025/08/18/college-football-rankings-preseason-136/ (Sorry about the paywall.) The Athletic rates UB #73. Only Toledo at #71 is higher from the MAC. UB's FBS schedule: Minnesota is #44. UConn #83, Troy #114, Ohio #84 Miami OH #88, EMU #112, BGSU #108, UMass #134, Kent St. #136, Akron #132, CMU #115. If UB beats FCS St. Francis and every team ranked in the 100's, that's 8 wins.
  9. I love Eric Moulds. But there's no question on who the more impactful WR was. In Eric Moulds 10 years in Buffalo, he put up 9096 yards and 52 TD's - for an average of 909.6 yards and 5.2 TD's a year. In Stefon Diggs 4 years in Buffalo, he put up 5372 yards and 37 TD"s - for an average of 1343 yards and 9.25 TD's a year. Moulds was great. Diggs was on a different level.
  10. Sorry to break it but Hamlin is unlikely to be cut
  11. Matt Robinson
  12. Apparently, the last person to wear it was former Tennessee Titans 2nd Round Pick WR Justin Hunter - who I honestly can't even remember being a member of the Bills...
  13. Between some of the guys appearing to just go through the motions, and some other flailing desperately about but being completely physically outclassed, yeah, that was tough to watch.
  14. You'd think it be easy to force Russian concessions somewhere. Like say, the middle east, where Russia's whole geopolitical strategy is collapsing. Where's some good old fashioned America First hardball where they can have Donbas so long as they serve up the Tartus naval base or hang the Iranians out to dry? Or agree to withdraw from and destroy all the Wagner bases in Africa? You know, something tangible for all us hard headed realists besides "Stop the killing!" Which is the same crap line we threw out when we were playing World Cop in the 90s (But only for the Balkans and Somalia, and not Rwanda).
  15. I'll take a melody and see, what I can do about it I'll take a simple C and G, and feel brand new about it I understand why the old fisherman Sail along, sail along, sail along Sail along, sail along Someday he'll be gone
  16. You're giving a few instances and then saying "everytime." Despite analytics being available showing he is decent against the run. I didn't say he was a starter. I was saying if you cut him "today" like the OP suggests you better be damn sure A. Someone better is available and B. That person can learn your system in a few weeks.
  17. I saw Ed Rutkowski punting and OJ playing WR , does this count?
  18. Offseason trivia Q of the week: Has any Bill other than Allen worn 17? All i can. think of is Gary Marangi, and not even sure of that
  19. If they wanted him they could have done it last year or at any time this year. But if I was the GM he'd have been here last season. Does he look like he has lost a step or two? Yep. But are we in desperation stakes? Yes. Yes we are. I know it hasn't been a popular view on this board but right know Damar Hamlin is still our second best safety.... and that is bad. Very, very bad.
  20. Simmons I believe is still out there for a safety addition.
  21. Today
  22. He gets beat one on one where the mistakes are his. Yes, Hamlin misses the tackle. Nobody is trying to tell you Damar is good. He isn't. I've been saying this a long time.... like way before the Cincy incident. He is a borderline NFL talent bottom of the roster guy. But I'm sorry I don't agree with "gotta give Bishop more time on the field." Why? He has got to show he belongs on an NFL field at some stage and can avoid these fundamental, basic, mental lapses. If he can't do that he isn't long for this team or, frankly, this league. He is a second round pick. This is year 2. Sure, he has had some really bad luck with injuries in both camps but it is time to show out or get out. The excuses are wearing thin. Know the bleeping playbook and do your bleeping job. And if he can't he doesn't belong on the field. Simple. You simply can't overcome making these sorts of mental mistakes with this regularity in the pros. I will repeat again - he will start - I hope to hell the light switch goes on because at the moment our safety position terrifies me. But it is put up or shut time for Bishop and if he is still making these mistakes 5 or 6 weeks into this season he will be pulled, make no mistake and Damar Hamlin or Cam Lewis who are significantly lesser athletes but can be trusted to play their assignment will be back on the field.
  23. What does immediate impact mean ? I don’t get it… as a kick returner ? As a 3rd down RB ? I thought making immediate impact meant contributing right away in one shape or another.
  24. Carter hasnt been healthy enough but flashed some talent his rookie season. No mention of ray davis or solomon? Cmon bro. Way too early to judge a class, although Bishop looks lost right now and in a redraft we dont take the guy.
