  1. Past hour
  2. Tough to say. Losing significant time for both rookie CBs (who seems to have potential) die to injury is rough, and you're likely trading for a de facto rental. Cap space is tight, which makes trading for a big-time WR tricky. Especially since our draft picks are always bottom third of the round. I would say LB or safety just due to cost and relative positional depth, it's achievable and we can pick up a guy that might actually stick around past this year.
  3. The penalties finished relatively even with a ton for each side, blaming refs is cheap even if they sucked. In the end don't turn the ball over 3 times, have a defense not allowed back to back TD drives right after your offense does and you probably win.
  4. Bills last drive why were we running the clock down to single digits. Clock management was a big issue. Seemed like they were running plays like it was the first quarter.
  5. This is what people seems to not realize. Nobody (nobody who is being honest with themselves) expected the Bills to go undefeated. But, to get the 1 seed, we likely need to get to minimum 13 wins, if not 14. Losing a game early in the season, at home, to a team you "should beat" is the problem. We have other tougher games to play still.
  6. It could be worse. Look at how the Eagles lost their first game yesterday blowing a big lead in the 2nd half.
  7. Some Monday morning advice for those of you standing on the ledge…. Why you might feel this way -Strong Identification: You identify so strongly with the team that their losses feel like your own, leading to feelings of personal failure. Emotional Investment: You've invested time, energy, and emotions into the team, making their performance directly affect your feelings. Personal Pride: The team's success is tied to your pride and sense of community, making a loss a blow to both. Unmet Expectations: You may have high expectations for the team, and their failure to meet them can feel disappointing or even like a personal setback. -How to cope with these feelings Acknowledge Your Feelings: Recognize that your emotional response is valid, but also understand the depth of your investment. Gain Perspective: Remind yourself that the game's outcome doesn't reflect your personal worth or affect your daily life. Focus on What You Can Control: Understand that you, as a fan, have no control over the players, the opponents, or the game itself. Accept That It's a Game: Remember that the emotions and passion are part of enjoying sports, but the loss is temporary and doesn't define you
  8. Just to be clear, no one thinks that Gabe Davis solves the Bills glaring need at WR. What some of us think, is that Gabe can get down the field and make some big plays. Josh always looked for Gabe when the play broke down and he rolled out. These 2 things Gabe does better than anyone currently on the roster. This is more of an indictment on that WR room than it is praise for Gabe.
  9. Last night was the perfect game for a script similar to the Seattle plan last season. Play in reverse by setting up the run with play-action passes to the TEs/Shakir over the middle. NE has a good run defense, and you know Vrabel is preaching physicality out of the gate. Use that and their poor coverage LBs and S against them. Instead, the offense pissed away a good 1st half by the defense running jet sweeps to Knox, flea-flickers, and Palmer being unable to recognize he needed to be on the LOS. Really poor plan and execution that entire 1st half is what doomed the Bills. Again, game-script matters and the only time NE felt a little heat was after the 1st drive on the 2nd half when the D got super soft and let NE get the ball across mid-field before the KO team was seemingly off the field. Need to be better and more aggressive early to control the game-script.
  10. What do you see that makes you think he is Head Coach material? I've never even seen him standing on the sidelines. I don't see much innovation or anything special other than no. 17 taking over the game at times.
  11. Yeah, the bills were gonna lose eventually. It sucks it's against a division foe. It is annoying with patriots fans thinking maye is equal or superior to Allen. Diggs won't show up next game. The dude was purely motivated by hate last night. It was amazing.
  12. The Bills defense in the playoffs seems to never come up with a big stop in a key moment. The Pats defense with Bill did. The INT at the goal line in the Super Bowl vs Seattle. Shutting the Falcons out after they built a huge lead which allowed Brady to bring them back. It was a combination of Brady and the Pats defense that was leading the way to the Super Bowl wins. Until McDermott finally wins one and I am starting to have doubts that he will then he will be known for his playoff failures highlighted by 13 seconds and not the winning regular seasons. The media both local and national are pointing that out more and more as the years go by.
  13. As a distraction from all the doom and gloom.... Food/drink Snickers Pistachios Pizza Hut Pepsi Gatorade Clothing New Balance Banking Sofi Transportation West Herr Personal Hygiene Gillette Healthcare Oishei Children's Hospital Medication Natrol Sleep I mean seriously, what else do you need? As a Bills fan I will admit it's getting a bit outrageous. I see Josh more then my own family...... I can't turn on my TV without seeing him in a new commercial. Can't make a turn in Wegmans without running into Allen staring me in the face. He is a ⭐
  14. Newsflash: We're still on pace to go 13-4 or better The "fire McDermott!" stuff after every loss is kind of amusing, this is two years in a row of Josh getting sloppy with the ball in his hands when Diggs is in the building. Offense couldn't stop shooting itself in the foot, and I was pretty sure something exactly like the red zone interception was coming after the OPI call based on Allen's body language. 3x turnovers is tough to overcome without great play outside of them, and we were strictly okay. Maye's plays were mostly made off-script, which means the script was working. Tre can't quite keep up anymore and we kept getting burned by it. Tough to blame coaching when our biggest struggles came from player deficiencies.
  15. Maye was the absolute last QB i ever wanted to see in the AFCEast........the dude was a stud in college and i knew he would transition well in the NFL UGH
  16. My bad. Sorry
  17. Hopefully it accomplished its goal which was to sell more $110 dollar hoodies and jerseys. I am not sure it had anything to do with the outcome of the game, but I hope to never see those jerseys ever again.
  18. First place in the NFL, who cares? We have the best QB in the game of course we're in 1st place. Can you really see this defense in the SB? If so can you imagine if we can't keep Drake Maye under wraps what that offense would do to us? Also calling people spineless for voicing an opinion on a Buffalo Bills message board? Grow up dude.
  19. All the same, we take our chances Laughed at by time Tricked by circumstances Plus ca change Plus c'est la meme chose The more that things change The more they stay the same
  20. yea im confident there is still a margin there but its probably a little tighter than I thought with diggs seeming to be a real wr
  21. I don't know them. The Bills will roll into Foxboro and leave with a W. Just watch. That's sports. Just when you believe that you have it figured out everything blows up. Going undefeated is a curse anyway. Buffalo is like NE, the fans live and die with every loss. The goal is for Buffalo to get the 1st round bye and homefield throughout the post season.
  22. Wasn’t a great game by Joe Brady by any means and Babich/McD has a lot to answer for as well, but let’s be real. Patriots never would’ve won without heavy assistance from the refs. Every time the Bills sniffed the red zone there was a holding call or phantom offensive PI. Patriots had 0 flags going into the 3rd quarter. Constantly going from 2nd and 2 to 2nd and 12 is hard to overcome. That’s why 1st down plays are so important to get those 4-5 yard runs that Cook has been excellent at.
  23. I remember the same chatter when the Patriots beat us in a hurricane. You’d think the Bills are 2-3 with the reactions here today. There isn’t a team that has less losses than we do. Go out and breathe some fresh air. The weather is about to take a turn.
  24. Not too down on the offense. They had a breakdown, every good team does. Hopefully the penalties were an aberration and won't happen again (when will the ref's realize the game doesn't revolve around them!). As usual, McDermott's defense SUCKS. Something must change. Leave Thomson in at linebacker...Milano is always injured. Tre White got burned too.
  25. I'm not doing anything at CB if Hairston is on track to be healthy. Let Dorian Strong and Mad Max figure it out as the season goes on and demote Tre White. I'll take athleticism over mental processing any day at CB2. I'd be trading Ray Davis for a ham sandwich. In WR I'd be looking for a bottom feeder NFC team that's looking to sell. Chris Olave comes to mind instantly but I'm sure there are others.
