And the only reason they had those :30 to work with was McDermotts aggressive use of timeouts when the Ravens still had the ball on the previous possession. I don't think most coaches would have had the stones to do that on first and second down outside the 10 yrd line with nearly 2:00 left in the half.

Sucks. I hope we dont regret this. Still believe he could have helped this team. Oh well.

Is this from the minds of those two dorks that did the embarrassing wings segment on the last hard knocks?

Did she and Bill ever get married? Strangely, I heard that driving home about 5 minutes ago, then see this. 🤷‍♂️ -

Oliver had a rediculous game, it overshadowed Bosa's good, but not great, game. Our starting DL should be very good. as the rookies come along, I think Sanders will be an above-average player this year with room to continue growing. Would love a big run stopper, perhpas at the trade deadline, although any D weakness appears to be in the secondary. -
There were many outstanding plays down the stretch in Q4 that lead to victory, but let's not forget the fact the Bills got the ball back with just 25 seconds on the clock. Josh makes two great passes to get them in position to kick the FG with 1 second on the clock. We clearly don't win without those 3 points.

He's got some real issues to work on but he's one of those guys I feel like you can't help but root for. Feel like last night's game showed pretty much all the pros and cons that I saw when I scouted him at Michigan. -
I think this is going to be a hard fought game. No doubt the Bills are the better team. Will the Bills have a letdown after that big win? I doubt it. The Jets offense looked very good vs Pitt. Fields presents a challenge with his legs and actually threw the ball well. Hall is a home run threat and Wilson is very good. I think the Jets offense will be successful vs the work in progress Bills defense. On offense the Bills should be fine. An old Rodgers and limited offense in Pittsburgh rolled the Jets D. The Bills offense should click for lots of points.

Always a concern to play the Jets away in recent years. Three straight years and three straight funky knuckleball type games. Close wins in 2022 and 2024 and a close loss in 2023. I think this game won't be much different. Jets defense while it laid an egg against the Steelers I don't think is that bad and always seems to play tough at home against the Bills. The Jets offense is capable, their offensive line is very good, their RB Duo is talented, Fields is not the most dynamic thrower but he's not terrible and can run well, and Wilson is a dynamic outside weapon. I think we are gonna see just how good this defense is or isn't after this game. If they can control the line against a good Jets O-line that's a good sign. Offense wise the Bills need to be more consistent and keep the defense off the field. I got it Bills 27-17 but it might be a late field goal that pushes the game to two scores...

I said this in one of the other threads but I think despite the explosive nature of the Ravens, they seem to wear down in games. Everyone does but it seems to happen faster for them, which might point to a conditioning program issue?

Well. The bills are in luck. Cj Mosley retired and no longer plays in the nfl

A few Random Thoughts After the Ravens Game
Nuncha replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Henry stiff-arming at that point was pure greed. He probably wanted to hit 200 yards rushing for the game. He was thinking of himself and didn't do what was right for his team in that situation. Protect the football. -

but the refs would NOT let the spot stand. It was an incredibly poor spot, and with McD right there, he should have challanged it. That was a terrible no challange by McD. We needed that first down then, and worst case it's a timeout. Instead, we rush a poor 3rd down play, get a false start, punt.
