Then there was the all 22 explaining how Moore was wide open on MANY of his routes vs Bears but didn't get a pass thrown his way. Dude is a lock and gonna bust some plays with Josh this year.

Part of that Putin 'Warmth" Trump was talking about I guess. Trump is so clueless. Good and being a rabble rousing criminal, but not at governing Oh, remember all the hand wringing of "Biden's starting WWIII!!" from a resident phonies around here. Interesting times?

I have a feeling that if we sign him it'll be after final cuts. Will give all of our players currently rostered a chance to show us one more time. And we know what we have with him, and he is injured. Unless there's a way to sign him and put him immediately on the pup, make your cuts see if anyone else might have a chance to be better than him and then simply sign him to the practice squad to tell him we'll move him to the complete roster once healed. Either way he would be in the bottom 51 I believe.

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper
Alphadawg7 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just a player got traded doesn't mean it was an option for us. Adamas wanted to go to the Jets, he had a good relationship with the Raiders, they tried the Jets first and got a deal done. He wasn't really an option for us -
FWIW in his The Athletic article on Tuesday, Joe Buscaglia had this to say about Elijah Moore: "Moore has had a really nice camp and gives the Bills a strong backup option at slot receiver should anything happen to Shakir, and Moore could even play Z-receiver and return kickoffs or punts." We'll see soon enough because cutdown day is in 5 days... Tuesday August 26th.

That in the reality of who we beat and how they Arby's. We mawl the bad teams, which bad teams usually have bad quarterbacking and/or bad pass protection So teams that suck have bad quarterbacks which are slow to make reads and are easily pressured. When we face a top half quarterback we don't care as well, when we face a top five quarterback they sit back and write their autobiography while roasting a turkey. Or just are able to get it out so quick because our coverage sucks that we can't even move out of our stance on the line. We are skewed because we play the Jets and the Patriots twice, we have Tua's number, and those are two or three quarterbacks that are mid get wallopped by us.

I would say more likely a divisional round exit, but sure, I had a few drinks and regretted being that big of a d bag with that post even if it is what I think will happen. This has nothing to do with a deep or shallow, scared or whatever. That's an angle some like to play here. Just being true to what I think will happen. If Bosa is an animal or a rookie can push 10 sacks or Max can contribute at a high level that can change things. It's not where I think we are going to be week 1. We have injury issues at WR. As we did last year in the regular season game. We don't match up well and the final outcome last year could have very easily been the 2nd worse playoff collapse in the McD era. They catch that 2 pointer its a tie game after literally having about as good a game as we can play on top of multiple turnovers. Yes, I think they will win by 2 TD's. Which is very uncommon with this Bills team, but it's just what I expect with this match up.

Until we all realize Bosa is back baby! Rous and Bosa are a killer tandem.

Training Camp News - Around the League version

Yeah, and the almighty Howie Roseman drafted Jalen Reagor one pick before the Vikings chose Justin Jefferson. They all miss. -
People complain because aside from Coleman, they don’t even try to draft WRs in the first two days of the draft where most good WRs come from. Maybe you don’t wind up with an all star player, but maybe you wind up with a good player on a cost controlled contract and so don’t have to desperately sign Curtis Samuel and Josh Palmer to contracts they are not worth. WR is the second most expensive position besides QB. So if you want to keep the room cheap but have a talented room, you need to draft players. Look at the Chiefs over the last 4 years they have drafted 3 WRs in the first two rounds. Yea one busted, but two seem pretty good and keep that position room cheap for them so they can pay other, better players.

When asked for comment, Mahomes declined but was heard mumbling something about "teach you to steal my nuggies" under his breath as he walked away...

You guys are definately making me feel better LOL... @GunnerBill @LEBills@GASabresIUFan @YattaOkasan

I think those feelings stem from our playoff losses. 4X vs. KC, and 1X vs. Cincy. If you recall in the Cincy game, they were playing a cast of backups, on an already mediocre line. In KC's superbowl loss to Tampa, and again against Philly, there oline got exposed. At this point, that's all that matters. Our dline for the most part, are no shows in that game. I don't love seeing Rosseau get thrown around, by a mediocre KC oline, or Ed being invisible. At least with Ed, he's going against the strength of their oline.

This is how I see it. It's not about Josh or any of the first string offense proving anything. It seems though they would benefit with some game time together, prior to facing the Ravens. I expected to see the starters getting 2 series this week just to get in sync a bit… shows you what I know!

i would do 2 firsts + Bodies. We will pick around #32 anyway. We have low value firsts. Beane hits on the 2nd and 3rd round more than the 1st these days. Lets get this done (or Trey)

Understand, that, -
So, 15% tax on European imports that we'll have to pay. Great job.
-
Josh doesn't need the reps - but he does need some reps with Palmer, Moore and even Kincaid in pre season game action. I'm surprised we don't get one series. Oh well, here's to hoping we come out strong Sunday night vs the Ravers.

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper
dave mcbride replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure, but Adams didn't have total control over his destination and moreover he presumably wanted to win a championship. The issue is that he's a better player, and the Bills settled for the lesser player. Should they have gone all out given that they were clearly in a SB window? I realize that it may have been too difficult from a financial standpoint.
