Also, on one of the first episodes of Bills Squad, Jerry O was explaining the injury to Joe and how it explained the entire drop off his last season in college and how it's an extremely common injury for nfl lineman and how nfl strength and conditioning coaches are great at handling and managing it...how in college the focus lifting is just to do as much lifting as possible at the highest weight possible...in the pros it's much more targeted and not about ego. Basically with that injury, Walker isn't able to do squats, and that likely explains the weaker lower body muscles and how especially after next off season when he gets a full nfl off-season with nfl strength and conditioning coaches we should see a big body shift...Jerry O said the back injury wasn't that concerning and Joe M was basing basically all of his thoughts on how he was being impacted by an injury that was no managed properly and was very manageable long term (it's not one that ever heals I guess). Joe Marino started changing his opinion at that point and said he was cautiously optimistic and hoped he'd be proven wrong...I guess this makes me an "everydayer, lol" but I think your take on Marino calling out Walker to protect his ego is flat incorrect... but you'd know that if you watched the video in the OP

If it's Jones then I'm fine with it. I just feel like it's going to Carter because he is younger and the bills made him play out of position and didn't like the results (even though he wasn't bad when he was healthy). Either way, it tells me they still don't like their DT group (including PS).

This is a great move. First of all, Phillips was one of the only guys who showed up on defense against KC in the Championship game. That alone should give everyone the warm fuzzies because NONE of our guys on D tend to show up in the big game. This has everything to do with Carter, he’s gone, and no one else. Jordan is keeping the seat warm until Larry O is ready to come back. Walker and Sanders look good but they are rookies and you need more veterans than just Jones and Oliver early in the season while the rooks get up to speed. Once Larry is ready to come back they will reassess and unless Jordan is lighting it up he will go to the PS. Idk why everyone has sand in their vaginas. I’d rather have Philips than Carter. That’s another Beane bust. He’s a 3-tech and they are trying to make him into a 1-tech. Never gonna happen. Hopefully we get a late round draft pick instead of just cutting him. This is probably correct. Assuming that's the reason they may just cut him outright if they can't trade him. They screwed the pooch with that pick but at least they're not doubling down on their mistake. My first thought was they're going to release De'Quan Jones to save some cap space.
