This is a totally false conclusion. They are not "combatants" is any historically accepted sense. Such a conclusion is preposterous. They are criminals involved in a criminal enterprise. They are very similar to anybody intentionally spreading a deadly virus in a region for simple monetary gain. I would never advocate the killing of survivors after the threat has been eliminated, but nor would I advocate any legal prosecution of these people, which would tie up an overburdened US legal system by people who have no legal standing in the US. They made their choice. The videos of the initial strikes were well publicized and available. Further, I would be very reluctant to publicize more. We have "allowed" millions and millions of people we know nothing about to enter this country under Biden. Surely, a significant number have gravitated to the drug sales and distribution world. We have seen some kill US citizens. Putting warheads on foreheads, as we task our service members to do, has the possibility of energizing people of this ilk to seek revenge. It would be incredibly simple to find out names go after those who do this and/or their families. Enough video.

To truly attack the illegal drug problem, you need to drastically decrease the national appetite for them. Much of that is caused by people living lives of quiet desperation: poverty, unemployment or underemployment, low self worth and self esteem and having no purpose. Improving these issues will do much more than blowing up a few boats.

What gives me hope is the defense is starting to look legit. I've seen some better play from the secondary. Yesterday, the run defense held up pretty good. Nice to see some turnovers in our favor too. I personally think a Josh Allen lead offense will get the job done but how deep into the playoffs we go, it's going to come down to defense. Fingers crossed.

Any MD's on this part of the board?

Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?

Yeah I think people still think this is that team that can put up 28 on anybody in the first half if they are focused. It's not a matter of not being fired up it's a matter of not having the personnel to play balanced offensively. The impact of running the ball relentlessly like they have to usually isn't going to show up until the second half. Like it or not this is the team they have become. The "formula" isn't throwing the ball around like Joe Marino and company were pushing after that Bucs win. The formula is run the ball and don't turn it over and then have Josh Allen make the few plays with his feet that differentiate you from the typical Jauron Ball unit. -
No arguments by me. This was mostly a half-joking response to the other thread. Again, agreed. McD would be snapped up by some bottom-dweller and he would likely return them to relevancy. That's kinda the point tho. That is his sweet spot. Not winning championships. As the saying goes "McDermott is the type of coach that can get a 3-14 team to the Wild Card. And the type of HC that will take a 14-3 team to the Wild Card"

I mentioned this before, but I wonder if Kim were healthy would Sean and Brandon still have jobs. She was the driving force behind buying the Bills. She is a die-hard Bills fan more so than Terry who was more of a hockey guy. I don't think these playoff losses and falling short every year with 17 would sit well with her.

Thanks Josh, there goes his Lady Byng trophy out the window.

Totally agree. It was awesome on every level. 2 points: 1. I recall Bishop coming up limping late in the game. It’ll be worth watchin to see if he pops on the injury report on Wednesday. 2. I loved the run heavy game plan, especially in the conditions yesterday. But he needs to be able to adjust and switch up the game plan better during a game. Because teams WILL be able to contain the running game. It’s happened this season. So for as good as he was this week, let’s see if he can keep it going with a more creative passing attack, as well.

Yeah, and to be clear, I almost dont fault Terry. It's waaaayy easier for us fans to sit here and yell about firing people and rebuilding the entire organization. It's much different to actually do it. And from an Owner's Perspective, I'd rather have an owner that errs to a Steelers/Ravens mindset rather than a Jets/Cowboys mindset. However, I am a fan and not an owner, and I've seen enough!

Ok the framing of the poll is terrible Look, I am plenty critical of McDermott. I think his welcome is wearing thin. If he's gone because the Pegulas think we need a new approach to get us over the hump I will not shed any tears. But he would absolutely be snapped up by some team in some capacity if he was fired. He can get an average defense out of practice squad parts. Do you know who had a reputation for bad time management? Andy Reid. Eagles fans would not shut up about it as his tenure ended and he didn't have the best rep with Alex Smith. But he got the rings so no one cares.

Very nice post. Good breakdown of more than the box score will show.

Ben Johnson is the only Head Coach Hire in the past 5 years I'd take over Sean. Maybe Sean Payton, however I'm not sure Allen and his scheme would mesh incredibly well. Allen winning his MVP saved McD's seat last year, and frankly cost them a shot at Johnson. It's the name of the game. I dont see any great candidates out there right now, so I dont think I'd be thrilled to move on from Sean.

Also, Beane wanted a vet WR to help with the young Josh Allen. No one know how a rookie would have worked with Josh.
