Let’s talk about this Drake “marvelous “ Maye 😅
Boo Radley Boston replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still a Clown shoes argument. Tell us all about the great Duke QBs. -
Just surpassed John Madden and Mike McCarthy for most regular season wins in his first 9 seasons
-
They've all drafted at the bottom of the rounds and it's catching up. Our Superman is the real Superman. Unfortunately we have a coach that likes to play hide the cape in the name of complimentary football.

Buffalo is the 2nd best team in the AFC
ProcessTruster replied to Instincts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had the best time at the game yesterday. Tailgate, Big Tree Inn, SnowGlobe game, all the biggest plays right in front of us. Amazing. Go bills. -
My fear is that McDermotts defense is really no better than it's ever been. I'll explain. After we went up 11 yesterday, the Bengals get the ball and Burrow just chucks it right down the field in 2 or 3 plays and throws a td to Higgins. If it's the playoffs and we're up with a min or 2 left, I have zero confidence the defense can do anything. I don't know if it's the prevent or what.

This roster is a disaster however…..
DisplacedBillsFan replied to Xwnyer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait, I’m confused. If we’re winning with a terrible roster, does that mean we have good coaching? That can’t be right though, because all I read on here is how bad the coaching is. So, we’re winning with a terrible roster and bad coaching? That almost defies anything that’s ever been possible in the NFL. It’d be great if people on this board would actually give credit to our front office and coaching and recognize there is no such thing as perfection in the NFL. Why start the morning after a win complaining about the roster? It’s crazy how spoiled and pessimistic folks have become. I remember more optimism during the drought years when we needed to run the table through the second half of the season and needed help from 5 other teams. Maybe try to just enjoy the game again. It’s okay to have fun and be optimistic and appreciate how amazing this era of Bills football has been and continues to be. -

Ive said it all year. They are a good team but lets see them next year with a 1st place schedule. -
If New England wins (Next Week), they officially win the East.

I mean..how much selection do you need? It’s freaking groceries -
Thank your head coach.

Ha ha he was out for the season injured. Matt Cassell was the QB.

The Refs and this “rigged” league UPDATED 12/7 end of Raiders game
UKBillFan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
If anyone want to question the refs from yesterday they should look at Steelers-Ravens. There were a couple of huge, controversial, decisions against the Ravens. -
The 2010 packers set a record for players on ir and still getting to the super bowl. They were a very deep team... Probably a little bit more talented than buffalo but similar concept. Bills are built differently tho
-
Good point, but did Beane purposefully design it this way or is it because he fails to draft game changing talent and this is what we're left with?

Something that is missed in all of this is that the difference in schedule is drastic. The Bills play the eagles, the chiefs, the texans. The Bills playing in a much higher level and having much less opportunity for mistakes is a big difference than the Patriots being able to play the giants, the raiders, and the titans And the Patriots did lose to the Raiders. And you can say that doesn't matter because that was the first game of the season or way up there beginning. But the bills showed incredible poise against the ravens. And that was when the Ravens were a lot better team than they are today. -

True Kincaid and knox need to combine for 200 yds lol -
I was one of the few saying the Colts were fools gold early. They will lose out.
-
I wouldn't count the Chiefs out yet... The Colts remaining schedule is brutal! Seahawks, Niners, Jags and Texans combined 36-19 record. I think they lose out. KC has 2 tough ones and 2 cream puffs, Ravens have a tough 3 of 4. It's not so much that the Chiefs scare me; it's the refs when teams play the Chiefs.
-
Exactly. It's always a balance - I feel like the Bills lean too much towards depth over stars.
-
The raiders and cardinals are a disaster Buffalo has a great all time QB with a solid team, really good oline and yes a wr room that is a disaster. The 23/24 chiefs were similar. So were the 18 pats. 2010 packers had a ton of injuries, but excellent wrs. The bills could easily lose in the wildcard or be in the super bowl this year. I'm trying to enjoy every moment with Allen. Although I was completely full of RAGE after the cook fumble and threw my phone across the room lol 😭
-
Good point about depth v. game changers. But what SB team has been built with mangaing injuries yet to happen in mind? Build for depth and a team helmed by a once in a franchise lifetime QB gets pushed around by the likes of Miami and Atlanta.

It was a great throw but not one of the best in nfl history…come on. But is also happened due to down and distance. It was also a risky throw which is well advised on a fourth down when you have little to lose by taking an incomplete or sack or even int. Gotta give yourself a chance and he did. He does not make that throw on first and ten. Josh Allen understands down and distance, situational football and adjusts his willingness to take a chance based on that. It showed more his football intelligence to me than it was a great throw. If the defender has his back turned the wr is open.
-
His best throw is still the one that flew millimetres over Fred Warner's finger tips vs the 49ers in 2020 IMO.
